[It's the fresh face of a young girl. Brilliant red eyes looking nervously into the camera, and large yellow wings hang behind her. It's a fair good moment before she finally speaks.]

...I'm Myrrh. I listened to this woman in white. Is it true, then? Is this no longer Magvel?

Is there...a forest, at least, that I can go to?

(Action)

[Myrrh can be seen wandering alnost aimless and alone, much of her dress obscured by the large dragon-like wings that protrude from her back. She looks almost like a small gargoyle, if they looked like timid young human girls. Her reason to wander is to get out of this human settlement and find a nice, quiet forest to hide in.

She stops at one corner though, watching. She sees someone who stands out from the rest of these people. Probably doing someone important. Myrrh can probably ask for their help. Though she tries, each time your gaze comes in her direction, she shies away and hides.

Kind of hard to hide with a dragon wing sticking out, though.]

There are other dragons, but...the ones native to this world like to keep to themselves, so I live separately from them...

It shouldn't be too far. The cities are all connected by archways that will lead you from one city to another. The pendant you got on your arrival is what allows us to pass through these archways.

Who gave us these things? For what reason?

The spirits...the ones who brought us here...I think these pendants came from them. Other than allowing us to travel between the cities, I don't know any other purpose. No one really knows why we were brought here either...

[ The healer was first aware that someone was following her when she heard a pattern of a single flap of wings. Birds with wingspans that big rarely got close to her.

She was on her way to work at Fayren, but the first glimpse at her follower wound up being mildly distracting. It was... a girl with wings? Dragon wings apparently.

And very shy to boot. ]

Excuse me! [ Konoka called as gently as she could. ] Are you lost?

[Who? Her? Myrrh peeks out from her hiding spot to confirm if she was being spoken to.

It seems so. She comes out into the opening and approached, kind of.]

...I'm looking for the forest. I heard there's one in... "Fayren?"

Yes, you are in Fayren.

However, the forests are out a little further than this.

[ Now if Myrrh had kept going, she'd eventually stumble upon said forest, but Konoka had felt the girl follow her for a while now. At the same time though... ]

Why did you want to go into the forest?

[Myrrh doesn't speak a response, only nodding twice while her wings flex a bit in anticipation. Yes, she does want to go to the forest.

Finally, she does speak up again]

The forest is this way? [A long pause...] ...Will you go with me?

[ Does this girl need an escort? Maybe someone stronger would suit much better... but Konoka mentally shook herself. She was a deputy after all. Protecting others was in her job description. ]

Ah, nevermind that, I'll be happy to take you over there.

[There's a tiny smile. An escort is fine, she doesn't like being alone, despite her painful shyness.]

Thank you... Though, you don't look happy. Is my request conflicting...?

[She's accepted going on alone if she has to. She just wanted to ask first anyway.]

The forest isn't especially dangerous, but I'm better suited at healing than fighting.

That being said though, I'm a deputy! Protecting people is in my job description!

[ Konoka looked especially pumped now. ]

[Oopsie. Myrrh should probably explain her intentions.]

I'm not...going to the forest to fight... I'm going there to live.

[She needs a home if she's going to be stuck here.]

[ Konoka nodded thoughtfully. ]

I think there's a good place or two where you can settle, and we can take a path that isn't fraught with trouble.

[Mavis is in the forest, training her Pokemons. Right now, Floette and Mawile are out.

Mavis is crouching in front of Mawile, scolding her gently.] I know you want to try your Mega Evolution. But I told you that already: you can't use it in the forest, nor in a friendly spar and especially not against Floette. I explained to you why. You remember, right?

[Mawile lowers her red eyes to stare at the botton of her dress and nods slowly. She looks a bit disappointed but she won't disobey her trainer. Though, Myrrh staring at them suddenly catches her attention. As she shies away and hides, Mawile keeps pointing in her direction with one of her hands.

Mavis turns to look and sees... a bush with dragon wings. She stands back up and calls out for whoever is hiding there.]

Who's there? Come on out, we won't hurt you.

[Curse this wingspan! Well, Myrrh had planned to come out...eventually. Before she got caught.
But that's not how it happened. Myrrh scoots out of her hiding spot, but doesn't scoot any nearer to Mavis.]

...Um...

[It seems she needs a bit of a push to speak up as well. What a shy dragon girl. However, it can be seen in her eyes that she is glancing at Floette and Mawile. Fascinating creatures...]

[Well, that's not exactly what she expected. But then again, Mavis has learnt that only few things in Genessia tend to meet your expectations on a regular basis and she tends to like it that way.

Floette, who is a shy Pokemon, comes closer to Mavis and clutches the hem of her long pink dress. Mavis sets a reassuring hand on top of the fairy Pokemon's head and gives Myrrh a soft and reassuring smile.]

Hi! My name's Mavis. It's the first time I see you in this forest. Are you new here?

[In the meantime, Mawile keeps staring at Myrrh. She doesn't come closer to her but she's clearly interested. This new girl has red eyes, just like her.]

[The human and the animals don't appear to be mean. Myrrh finally gets closer...by one step.]

I am... My name is Myrrh.
If... If I'm trespassing, I can go somewhere else.

[But she does hope she is allowed to live in the forest. She has nowhere else to go.]

No, you're not. Don't worry. The forests are for everyone to respect, protect and enjoy.

[Mavis' deep green eyes study her as she speaks. The little white wings hairpins adorning her long blond hair flutter gently in the breeze.]

Were you looking for something? Or someone?

[The girl looks a little bit lost.]

I'm looking... for a home.
This forest is much like Darkling Woods, where I was born...

[A long pause as Myrrh's gently flap once, just to move them.]

...Is it okay if I stay here? In the forest?

[Mavis tilts her head, considering it.] I guess... But are you sure you want to live out here on your own? Wouldn't you rather find a house? [Preferably with large doors.

As the wings flap, Mawile startles a bit but she doesn't move away. Instead, she makes a small gesture towards Myrrh as if she was trying to reach out for the wings with her tiny black hands. Mavis chuckles.]

Myrrh, this is Mawile. I think she'd love to touch one of your wings if you'd let her.

A house? As in live...among humans?

[It was a brief thought. Saleh and Ephraim all offered her a home. While she believes in them...]

I don't think I can... I am human and dragon. I would be...an inconvenience.

[She doesn't mind going to human towns. She likes humans, overall. At the strange request, Myrrh thought about it for awhile. No one ever touched her wings before. Well, it's kind of a cute creature.

Myrrh nods, indicating she'll allow it. She kneels down and droops her wings so the Mawile may touch. Upon doing so, they're rough and leathery. Genuine dragon wings. Mavis or Mawile may even notice the girl's satchel dangling in front of her, which has a beautiful blue stone stowed away inside peeking out from under the flap...]
