Normally when I'm summoned, I show up in a circle of magic with a Master nearby, not waking up in a pod in a bay. So Master, if you've wandered off somewhere, let me know and I'll come find you.

[He sighs, and mutters under his breath] And a Caster again, too.

[The concept, Mai was familiar with. To a degree. Shenron was technically a summon, although it never required any mage to call upon him. Just whoever managed to gather the dragon balls and speak the invocation to awaken him.]

[But this man did not look like a mystic dragon at all. And what's more...]

You might be the first person I've met here who claims to have been summoned. [As opposed to Time Travel, Dimension Hopping, etc...] Have you...found out who it was yet?

Nope. No Master that I can sense, at least for me.

But, I normally don't wake up in a pod, so I think this might be a bit different situation than I'm normally in.

I can empathize with that.

I've only ever traveled between worlds once before, and pods weren't involved, either. I think it's a process unique to this world. Whatever force they use to extract us from our time and place of origin seems to localize on each of those machines.

No summoning circle, or focus. Just waking up in a strange place with everything in place.

And there's no Grail War.

[She didn't know what a Grail War was, specifically, but she'd seen enough of War in general to appreciate the lack thereof.]

The occasional crime or trouble-causing individual, but beyond that...this is a world of peace.
