[Izuku Midoriya holds the communicator far enough in front of him that it puts both him and Neito Monoma in equal view. Izuku’s face is fairly sober from where he stands on the sidewalk in front of the Schnee Foundation.]
It seems like it’s working according to the instructions.
[He knits his brow, a gloved hand knuckling his mouth. His expression eases as he glances toward the taller blond boy beside him. For the time being, it seems like the rivalry between their classes has been set aside in favor of navigating this situation as a quasi-team.]
Do you want to go first?
[He gestures toward the radio, dropping his hand from his mouth. It’s a show of good faith, since Monoma in the past has always seemed...well, a little bitter about the attention given to Class 1A]
[Finding oneself kidnapped means pragmatism takes precedence over a rivalry. If that means he has to temporarily team up with a student from 1A to get results, so be it. He’ll simply have to make sure to get a better job, and exceed Midoriya and anyone else from class 1A who might be here in more civilian ways. He takes the radio. He’s skeptical about spirits, but since their only source of information has claimed spirits are responsible, he won’t question it for now.]
Does anyone here know why the spirits have kidnapped us? Do they have specific criteria? Or could someone have been an innocent bystander near someone more likely to get in trouble?
[He looks pointedly in the direction of the other boy with him at that last part. Yup, that bitterness toward 1A is still in tact. He’s just toning it down in light of their circumstances.]
Er…
[Izuku really can’t think of anything to say to that. So he doesn’t even try. He gives his head a quick shake before resuming Serious Talk.]
We’d also like any updates on the current state of affairs, especially where crimefighting is concerned. We’re both heroes in training--
[He reaches for his pocket, then pales, and starts patting himself down more frantically. Oh no! He showed up here without his wallet?! Aw c’mon!]
J-just a second! My license…
[He fishes his phone out of his pocket, quickly tapping at the screen until his mouth quirks wryly and he turns the device around. There’s a picture of his license bearing his smiling face, his name, and his status as a provisionally licensed hero. Was it necessary to provide proof? Probably not! But it still feels like he should to lend them credibility.]
My wallet wasn’t in my pocket when I was taken, so I guess this will have to do for now. I’m Izuku Midoriya. This is Neito Monoma. We may be new, but we’re here to help wherever we might be needed.
[Izuku pockets his phone again, looking to the other teen to see if there’s anything else he wants to add.]
[Huh. That was more diplomatic and well spoken than Neito would have expected from the rival class, so he skips out on making any further snide remarks and simply nods.]
We’ll eagerly await your answers.
[Izuku grins, then waves at the screen. That went pretty good!]
[OOC: Green is Midoriya, blue is Monoma. Either one will answer unless someone is sending a private message!]

[And if one were to look at her, long blond hair and has a habit of never wearing shoes anywhere. No one would think she was of all things a bounty hunter.]
Is that what you mean about the current state of affairs crime wise? [She smiled sweetly for a moment before waving slightly.] But hello and welcome. I'm Rapunzel.

So quirks are probably just as prevalent here as they were on Earth. She's got way more hair than most people, so it might be related to her quirk. Is it prehensile? Or maybe it's super strong. It might also secrete some sort of gas or fluid that incapacitates her targets...

Send you two directions to Fairy Haven, we'll talk more there.
Shigaraki is is the only villain here thus far. Don't go near or try to apprehend him in case I have to remind you two.
How many others from UA are here, Aizawa-sensei?
[While he wouldn't wish this on anyone, there is a small part of him that would really like to see someone from 1B here.]

Aizawa is here, by the way. I assume you're from the same world?
These spirits unfortunately have no interest in showing themselves, let alone communicate in any way. Even in places that don't require licences, causing unnecessary injury to criminals is generally frowned upon.
I would suggest applying for bounty licences in Attleton and Nova to begin with.

Good afternoon to you both. My name is Kuroneko Satou, Deputy of Attleton and Detective for Everglade PD: they're both cities you'll be able to access here.
You two can look into bounties listed in the newspaper, or maybe take a look at filling protector roles in the city. Your licenses may be enough to get you on the police force here, or you can talk to the Guardians about assisting them.
[...] Does the name "Bakugou, Katsuki-san," mean anything to you?
Video;
[He does his best to resist the urge to make a face when she mentions Bakugou. He's not entirely successful.]
We go to the same school. I hope he hasn't caused too much trouble for you.

[Given the way his pupils constrict, it's probably obvious that he knows exactly what she's talking about. He sweats nervously.]
I see. I'll have to keep those guidelines in mind.
[He isn't sure he can just quietly accept someone getting attacked and eaten, though, no matter what the rules might be. He sighs.]
But it's good to hear that things are quiet for the most part. I thought about joining one of the deputy teams or law enforcement agencies, depending on where heroes are needed most.

Welcome! I'm Orihime Inoue, it's nice to meet you.
[She bows politely.]
Most newcomers don't offer to join in and help so soon. Even I was too surprised to think of that! But for the crimefighting statistics...eeto...
[Most guardian information isn't confidential, so she supposes there's no real harm in sharing.]
The laws are about what you'd expect everywhere except Everglade. Oh, but I see other people told you about that. Anyone can stop villains, but bounty hunters get paid for it. You'll see bounties show up in the newspaper that anyone can take, or you can join the guild for steady pay when crime is slow and there aren't many people hiring.
[Oh, and there's the date to consider! Orihime straightens, her face more serious.]
It's quiet now, so you have lots of time to settle in and get your bearings. But Halloween tends to be dangerous. I've only been here for one of them, but I've heard it's bad every year, and for more than just the holiday. If you're willing to help out during that time, everyone would be really grateful.
[He inclines his head politely in return. He's glad that so many people seem willing to help and offer information.]
I'll gladly help around Halloween if people need help.

Er, were your question not rather like question begging. Bear with me; what makes you believe that we were "kidnapped", beyond mere say-so? Perhaps there's new evidence that's yet to come to light.
[Though he kinda doubts it.]
Video
[He's not sure he's ever been asked that question before.]
I've never looked up my surname, but I saw my first name in a baby names book once and it means "peaceful person". Regarding the kidnapping, we're going based on the information provided when we got here. We listened to the full presentation.

She smiles.]
Hi! I think other people from your world are already here. You should wait until they contact you and ask them for updates.

[He offers a pleasant smile and a wave. Since the conversation with Bakugou is public, he doesn't mind commenting on that.]
A certain schoolmate who acts like he was raised by rabid wolves has made contact, yes.
