🌙 The First Eclipse
WHO: Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto versus Fayren (Styxx, 17, Trunks & whomever else)
WHAT: Upon the heels of announcing his claim over Fayren, Tsukihito decides to crush all opposition by hosting a mock tournament. The rules are quite simple. If the challenges win, Fayren remains free. However, if they lose...
WHEN: The Evening of September 21st.
WHERE: The Coliseum
[It was evening when the moon turned dark. The skies went from clear to cloudy as if another storm was brewing over Fayren. When almost all of the shimmering stars within the night sky were smothered with shadow, a slither of light curled around the dark moon as the first lunar eclipse took place. As the silvery moon slowly revealed itself again, a bright beam of light crashes right into the center of the coliseum.]
Those foolish enough to challenge the Divine---
[Within that pillar of light stands the silhouette of a monster several feet tall with glowing crimson eyes.]
Step forward.
[As the bright light begins to fade, Tsukihito's fearsome form is revealed. Despite supposedly being a white fox, this celestial looks more wolfish in appearance with a strong maw and fangs that look like they could pierce steel. It's eyes shine like rubies and the odd red markings upon its fur shimmer with absurd brilliance. The monster's many tails sway erratically behind him as it crouches low upon all four.]
All those who challenge me will be met with death!
[Hear that Fayren? Either stand before him or take the knee. Tsuki--no, Tsukuyomi has made his declaration loud and clear.]
notes: takes place after this declaration.)

The tails. Trunks was thinking the same as Seventeen did. He had to trust Trunks had his end of the plate. Seventeen only gave a nod before he took to the air as well, and hovered over the god beast until he was close where the many tails radiant.
Hopefully Tsukuyomi wasn't paying attention cause Seventeen landed just where the tail set was. He waited for Tsukuyomi to burn out some energy first for Trunks to handle. When the time was right, Seventeen collected some artificial energies himself creating a small blue orb in the palm of his hand. The best thing about artificial energies, it was undetectable.
After Tsukuyomi burned some energy out of his mouth, the energy orb he collected grew brighter, the dog would had caught a glimpse of it from the corner of his eye.]
Hey!
[Seventeen called out to the deity with a smug. Granted, this might be a little dangerous more for Seventeen cause he was about to feel a close impact too, but he showed no worry.]
Got a little surprise for you!
[Without a second thought, Seventeen slammed that orb on the stem of his tails which created an explosion ten feet radius. Hopefully, it created more than just a dent cause Seventeen felt that shock. He was barely standing on one knee holding onto Tsukuyomi's furr to catch his breath.]

It drops him from Tsukihito's mouth, but also just made him more determined and more angry. Which, he's using to buy time for Seventeen to do whatever it is the android is doing, by channeling ki blasts of his own. Nor is he holding back beyond it being not-lethal levels...
Then Seventeen called out, and did...something. On the edges of Trunks' awareness, but it was big. So the swordsman is dashing and placing himself as guard, especially once he's sees how much that took out of Seventeen.]
Don't kneel you idiot, that's why we're here, right?

To say the least, the fox is in agony.]
Bastards!
[The fox shouts as it limps towards the pair. His hind legs are aching now along with the rest of him.]
You two curs can't even fight fair!
[As if he was. Tsukuyomi can't tap into the moon's power right now without his tails. That much is obvious since it's on the defense now.]

When Trunks called out to him, Seventeen dragged himself up and leaped away after Tsukuyomi retreated. He was next to Trunks again, a couple good burn marks but nothing serious.]
That tail bone stem is harder than it looks.
[Or maybe it was how the dog fled from the worst part. He said weakly as he gradually recovered himself.]
Hey. How about we switch places. I'll focus more on the front instead.
[Seventeen tighten both fists on his sides with steady feet as he looked forward. Even though he injured himself, it seemed he recovered quickly the way he stood upright.]
You're the one with the sword. How about it?
[If Trunks caught his drift.]

He was.
Sword drawn again, energy crackling around him shot through with blue-sparks now, and he charged in for the attack.]

I would sooner plunge this entire world into darkness before I allow you to humiliate me in such a manner!
[The fox yells at the top of his lungs before suddenly lunging at the pair with all his might. His fangs narrow miss Trunks once the Saiyan suddenly dashes forth. Tsukuyomi is hellbent about keeping the swordsman at bay now. His tails are necessary, absolutely necessary for channeling the moon's aura.
Even now while damaged, Tsukuyomi is rapidly trying to heal by using whatever celestial power he has left.]
Die, die, die!
[The fox is desperately swiping his claws at the Saiyan, his eyes narrow with anger. Those massive red claws are sharp like any blade and sturdy much like steel. He'll easily rip the pair to ribbons if the they're no careful. The only thing in Trunks and Seventeen's favor is that Tsukuyomi is a bit slower now thanks to his damaged tails.]

[Seventeen already has an idea after the fight, but first thing first. He shot off to the air, Trunks wasn't the only one flying.
While Trunks is doing his thing, Seventeen wedges between the Saiyan and fox. A green barrier is created around the android, taking any damages from the swipe claw, the celestial and green energy colliding. Seventeen looks like a guy inside a green ball orb-like in front of him.
The barrier disintegrates after a couple assaults. Seventeen flies quickly towards the beast's mouth and face to keep him at bay. If Seventeen was about to get bitten, well.... there would be another barrier around him and Tsukuyomi will have his mouth full, with a green ball.]

Tsukuyomi could be angry all he want, it didn't mean Trunks wouldn't continue.]
You could've prevented this!
[Letting his own anger show through as he shouted, alternating between kiblasts and his sword and hand-to-hand.]
Don't think you can push around mortals!
[Letting Seventeen be a distraction and keep those teeth at bay to drop back slightly. Gathering his ki more fully between his hands in a ball, expanding it and then holding it up and above his head. Trusting Seventeen, and Trunks let the super Finish-Buster fly at the Fox's remaining tails and legs.]

[The fox yelps once that annoying android suddenly gets in his way. He's not letting them chomp off his tail! The fox's movements start to speed up a little as he swipes at Seventeen with his front paws. Those viscous claws scratch against the surface of that strange barrier over and over again with little affect. The celestial eventually loses patience and lunges for the android in attempt to break the paling with his jaws.
He gnaws at it briefly until it bursts, the barrier vanishing within several shards of light. Tsukuyomi didn't have time to gloat over his win cause quickly the android was soaring right towards him.]
I'll devour you and everyone who stands in my way!
[The fox yells as he tries to gobble the android whole. Of course Seventeen manages to pull off a miracle and summon another barrier around himself. So Tsukuyomi here is gnawing at the paling again looking like some giant dog gnawing on a large tennis ball. It's a humorous image if Tsukuyomi wasn't damn near the size of a kaju. The Moon God is gigantic in this form, large enough to dwarf a b;ue whale.]
[As Tsukuyomi chews and chews on that annoying green barrier, Trunks manages to make some headway. The fox is too occupied with Seventeen to notice when the swordsman takes charge.
That's when it happens. Those ki-blasts from earlier barely even made Tsukuyomi budge but what happens next has the fox howling in agony.]
YOU BASSSSSSTAAAAAARDS!!
[Once that stronger pulse of ki hits his rear, Tsukuyomi swore he was on fire. His tails, his precious tails were cut from the stem. The seven tails crash to the ground like stone, each one quickly vanishing into little shards of light as the fox deity hollers in agony. A few inelegant swears escapes Tsukuyomi in his native tongue as the fox collapses onto the ground.]

Hands in his pockets, Seventeen descended slowly to the ground, as if he was dropped slowly from a good height. The fight was done, the point was made across, and now this fight was finally coming to a close. Seventeen walked up to Tsukuyomi.]
Nice job there.
[Seventeen commented on Trunks. Now to the fox.]
Remember, you're the one who picked a fight and didn't care who or how many jumped in. [He reminded the fox. Remember that newspaper Seventeen tucked away in the back? Well, he pulled it out and gave Tsukuyomi a light tap on his large forehead.]
Behave and I may have a way to get your tails back.

You're the one who threatened everyone, and picked this fight. You said you'd kill all challengers too. It was your arrogance that lost you your tails. Learn from this, and don't underestimate us mortals.
[Cold, more than willing to be more 'ruthless' about this than Seventeen is.]
