🌙 The First Eclipse
WHO: Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto versus Fayren (Styxx, 17, Trunks & whomever else)
WHAT: Upon the heels of announcing his claim over Fayren, Tsukihito decides to crush all opposition by hosting a mock tournament. The rules are quite simple. If the challenges win, Fayren remains free. However, if they lose...
WHEN: The Evening of September 21st.
WHERE: The Coliseum
[It was evening when the moon turned dark. The skies went from clear to cloudy as if another storm was brewing over Fayren. When almost all of the shimmering stars within the night sky were smothered with shadow, a slither of light curled around the dark moon as the first lunar eclipse took place. As the silvery moon slowly revealed itself again, a bright beam of light crashes right into the center of the coliseum.]
Those foolish enough to challenge the Divine---
[Within that pillar of light stands the silhouette of a monster several feet tall with glowing crimson eyes.]
Step forward.
[As the bright light begins to fade, Tsukihito's fearsome form is revealed. Despite supposedly being a white fox, this celestial looks more wolfish in appearance with a strong maw and fangs that look like they could pierce steel. It's eyes shine like rubies and the odd red markings upon its fur shimmer with absurd brilliance. The monster's many tails sway erratically behind him as it crouches low upon all four.]
All those who challenge me will be met with death!
[Hear that Fayren? Either stand before him or take the knee. Tsuki--no, Tsukuyomi has made his declaration loud and clear.]
notes: takes place after this declaration.)

17 & Trunks [Closed]
Re: 17 & Trunks [Closed]
Demanding enough.
[Seventeen said dryly, almost as if he was ignoring Tsukuyomi's warning...okay he was. Death threats were nothing, Seventeen rode that boat a long time ago and made it back. He was holding a newspaper by his side, both arms hanging. He was quite serious to bring the paper.]
Foxes are said to dominate, mostly the pact. They would test each other's strength to win the territory, sometimes leaving the other one alive. The dominated one gets special treatment
[He simply states the behavior.]
You have a preference?
[He directed his question to Trunks as he kept his eyes on the dog. He didn't mind if they both fought together or took turns. He was open to anything, really.]
Re: 17 & Trunks [Closed]
A trust to have each other's back at least, and so here he was to make sure he had Seventeen's back.
Really though, a newspaper? There'd been an eyebrow raise, then a shrug.]
Depends since you're the animal expert. If it's just a manner for reminding him what mortals can do, then better we work together.
[Likewise, Trunks was also not taking his eye off of the big dog-god.]

[The fox howls as it slams its paws onto the gravel with enough force to cause a miniature quake. He's not some little fox kit, you two. He's a huge, no, gigantic fox with an ego that is bigger than the circumference of the moon. ]
You shall rue the day you've insulted me!
[Before either knew it, they're seconds away from being devoured by those vicious looking fangs. Tsukuyomi leaps over with the speed of a freight train ready to strike. His speed is relatively impressive considering his size. The damn fox takes up a good chunk of the coliseum.
It keeps snapping its jaws at them, trying in earnest to gobble them up as he threatens. Meanwhile, those white seven tails start to glow ominously with the moon's radiance cluing that Tsukuyomi is just biding his time for something big.]
DIE, VERMIN!

[More like Seventeen did. He felt the ground shake but stayed his ground regardless.
Before Seventeen could continue the conversation, there was a giant fox heading their way to get the first bite. Seventeen tucked away the newspaper in his back pocket, for now, and jumped to the air to one side of the fox avoiding the beast's jaws.]
Sure, I'm game.
[He responded to Trunks as he extended one open palm out towards Tsukuyomi's paws. Seventeen's palm lit up in an instant before it showed blue beams towards the pup's feet.
Working together huh. Seventeen wasn't sure how this would go.]

Styxx [Closed]
Re: Styxx [Closed]
Styxx walked into the coliseum right on time, ready for the battle to come as he stood before the fox with his sword and red hoplan with a rising phoenix upon it, both he'd had made to suit his tastes right here in Genessia. Styxx was ready and armed to the teeth for this fight.]
Looks like the little foxy needs a lesson in being less of an asshole.
no subject
All hell is about to break loose.]
The only lesson taught here will be the fragility of your mortality, fool.
[Without much warning than that, Tsukuyomi snaps his jaws at the man and leaps forward hoping to pounce right on him. This isn't the fill brunt of his powers but merely a taste of it. However, Tsukuyomi is relying on his inhuman strength and ability to test this man. When the time comes for him to alter forms, Styxx will realize just how lethal this little fox truly is.]

That's why the overgrown titan quickly dashes towards the prince's right in other to launch another weighty strike. The beast's paws are swift but patches an inhuman strength much like a wrecking ball. The alleged deity is hoping to land a crushing blow upon this mortal, not willing to be merciful in this bout.]

A New Challenger Appears [Open]
Amy
Hi there.
[That's all she says before she notches an arrow into her bow and raises it to fire.]
no subject
This shall be your grave!
[A barrage of fangs and claws have come to greet her. He's trying to devour her whole.]
no subject
She's also glad she can't die for good here.]
no subject
The arrow makes its mark but the damn thing doesn't seem to leave much of an impact. Tsukuyomi charges right towards her with its massive jaw attempting to snatch her right up. If he manages to somehow miss her, Amy best be prepared to dodge any incoming strikes later.
Tsukuyomi is fighting less like a deity and more like a monster right now. He's been enraged out of all sensibility.]
here we go, leading up to what we discussed on plurk
Li
She just wanted to make his life hell and prove she wasn't just some weak female like he thought she was. Which meant she was ready to fight the moment she spotted the overgrown fur coat.]
no subject
You idiot.
[The fox snarls.]
You've thrown away your life over a few words?
no subject
What can I say? Your type really piss me off.
no subject
[Tsukuyomi tosses back his head and laughs. It's not one of his haughty snickers but rather a bark-like laugh that is gut wretchingly awful in every aspect of the word. It's a maniac laugh, one that heralds the erosion of whatever sanity the fox deity possesses.]
IDIOT!
[The fox slams his paw down with enough power to cause thd ground to quake beneath them both.]
I don't care what you are! You will die here along with everyone else who dares to defy my will.

[Spectator Sports]
Was this place REALLY that badly starved for some good entertainment?]
no subject
And sometimes, you just gotta make your own entertainment. Especially if someone has been around even the fraction of the time Gale (or one of the handful that's been here longer) has.
Where did these two sponsor businesses suddenly come from? Who knows! It's Genessia, and word gets around! ... for better or for worse.]
no subject
The enormous fox god storms over in pure unadulterated rage. Are these vermin trying to cash in on his decree? It certainly seems that way and Tsukuyomi isn't too pleased about that.]
What do you heathens think you're doing?
[The fox looks down upon them with great loathing.]
no subject
[Soma is... supremely unconcerned with the fox god thing. Let's face it - he's fought bigger. Come to that, if Tsuki can sense this sort of thing, there's something about him that might even seem familiar. The soul of one who is loved by the night.
A vampire - or at least the scion of one.]
no subject
Anastasia did watch the fox God warily as she came up and took a seat beside Soma.]
I have them, Soma. Like you asked. ...

There's no need to take action. Yet. But she's ready to step in or call her deputies if needed.
Of course, a short blond girl in a long pink dress sitting on the tiered sitting of the Coliseum is not likely to catch Tsuki's attention. But she's not missing a beat.]
