(Action - Fayren)
[The problem with being stuck here as a servant, especially one who likes good battles?
Boredom.
And Cu isn't the one to be bored for long. He's wandered out to a relatively unoccupied part of Fayren, where magic may not be completely strange, to practice his rune magic and summon his Noble Phantasm.
So, if you're out and about in Fayren, and see fire and explosions in the distance, it's just him. He's friendly, if a big fire happy, so please, come say hello!]

She sure as hell doesn't know what she expects to see, probably not what's there once she gets close enough... but her face doesn't show any reaction to any of it either way. Maybe he's not expecting to see a girl in her military uniform with weird metal boxes on her sides either.
She almost goes back to minding her own business with her poor social skills but guess she should make sure...]
Just training?

Just training!
Am I bothering you?
no subject
Not at all. Just... Checking that you haven't seen any humanoid giants around here. [So normal day for her, sort of.]
no subject
Only him. But he's mine, so he shouldn't be a worry.
no subject
Ah...
no subject
Hello!
[He pauses and leans on the top of his staff.]
I hope I didn't bother you.
no subject
Oh no, not at all. I was just...wondering what you were doing, that's all...
[And a sheepish laugh follows.]

Practice with my Runes.
Making sure they're all still functioning correctly after showing up here.
no subject
[She ponders for a moment, just wondering what runes did for magic. As far as she knows, only the Arcane creatures use them.]
So...how do they work? Are they functioning?
no subject
[He writes one with his finger before sending it off to light one of his impromptu training dummies on fire.]
They work like that. I write them to summon them, and they do what they do.
no subject
[She blinks at the training dummy on fire.]
Well...I've been practicing magic, but I've never used any runes before...

The cursed Kelpie stops a safe distance away and just kind of stares at what the hell is going on before her.]
....What the hell is going on.

Just getting in a bit of Rune practice!
no subject
...Rune practice? That looks like something the humans used to burn a long time ago.
no subject
I learned it ages ago myself.
no subject
You don't look that old.
[Like she's one to talk.]
But, why? I mean, why let it cause destruction? I don't remember humans using it quite like that before.
no subject
[And he's not lying.]
It's... an interesting story, and a long one.

Even the fire and explosions aren't so unfamiliar, though certainly not something he would ordinarily wish to get caught up in. Except that there's a certain signature to it this time, a trace of something that grows stronger the closer he gets.
He doesn't speak, at first, merely finds a spot close enough to observe and to be observed. He's not actively hiding himself and he's not showing any indication of wanting to fight - though that doesn't mean to say he's not on guard. For the moment, he's just curious to see which Servant has been summoned here now - because he has a feeling this isn't quite Bedivere's style.]
no subject
Especially because the Servants he's met all seem peaceful and not insane, like the ones he fought in Fuyuki City.]
You can come out, you know.
I don't bite unless asked.

[...most of the time, but perhaps consider it a buffer while Lancer steps into clearer view because while he doesn't recognise this particular Servant, he suspects it's only a matter of time before curiosity gets the better of them both.]
So now it would seem a Caster has arrived. At this rate, I might pause to consider if there is a familiar pattern to which Servants are drawn into this place.
[It's unlikely, considering he at least was already in the middle of a Grail War - but given what Rip had shared about being dragged into one whilst in another similar realm, Lancer can't exactly discount the possibility either.]
no subject
[The runes flicker and disappear, before Caster spins the staff and rests the end against the ground so he can lean against the head of it.]
A correct assumption, Lancer. Although I know not of this pattern, I have met another from Chaldea, my home. Who follows my Master.
[Identifying enough that his situation is slightly different than Lancer's.]
no subject
[He'd almost seen fit to use Bedivere's name, but isn't sure how this particular Servant is when it comes to use of True Names or how that meeting might have gone so he decides it isn't really his place.]
Still, to mingle those already part of a War with those apparently fighting for something far grander...perhaps it is mere coincidence that no two of the same Class have been summoned here thus far.
no subject
[There's a shrug.]
Maybe. But there were no summoning circles. No pacts. And I have a Master already, back at Chaldea.
no subject
[Fayren helps, as far as providing alternate mana sources goes, but it's not the same and Lancer is all too aware of it - though he suspects this one may not struggle from the other issue that has Lancer at less than full strength.]
