(Action - Fayren)
[The problem with being stuck here as a servant, especially one who likes good battles?
Boredom.
And Cu isn't the one to be bored for long. He's wandered out to a relatively unoccupied part of Fayren, where magic may not be completely strange, to practice his rune magic and summon his Noble Phantasm.
So, if you're out and about in Fayren, and see fire and explosions in the distance, it's just him. He's friendly, if a big fire happy, so please, come say hello!]

[Fayren helps, as far as providing alternate mana sources goes, but it's not the same and Lancer is all too aware of it - though he suspects this one may not struggle from the other issue that has Lancer at less than full strength.]

[Well, he's going to have to learn how to deal, and find mana.]
We're not enemies, so have any tips on how not to pass out exhausted?

[Largely because he'll have to tie himself to leylines somewhere and that naturally means a weakness once he is away from those.]
All I can truly advise is to learn and understand where your limits are without a Master's assistance. Fayren is capable of providing tonics which will aid with recovery but they can only go so far in aiding you in the midst of battle.
[Safe to say Lancer has managed to over-exert himself before now.]

[At least he was getting told now, rather than if he overexerted himself in the future. He'd have to keep tabs on his mana until either his Master arrived, or he had money to get those tonics.]
I'll take that advice.... And find a job, it seems.
[Not that Cu working on the side was anything new, honestly.]

[It had been for him, but then he's never exactly had to find employment for himself before, even in life.]
At the very least, you appear to be in the most viable city for finding something suited to your talents.
