There's been a few posts that have been about relationships and stuff, [ His face turns red but he does his best compose himself and he looks up to the camera. ] so I was thinking it'd be nice to have like a singles night somewhere, ... so people can gather around and get to know one another. Yeah. [ Yeah... ] So.

I'm going to find out where a good place is but if anyone else has some ideas or whatever, just .. you know what to do.

[ Nervous laughter vibrates over his body. ] But, I also have another thing!

I been thinking.. when I make these welcome kits for new comers.. like what is some of the stuff you guys wish you had when you first came? Working at the store has given me a lot of ideas of some of the essentials people buy regularly but.. I'd appreciate some feedback, in case I'm not thinking of something! Okay, thanks.

Yessssss. I didn't know how .. big this thing was! [ He thought, sure, throw a party, people show up and then fun... but he had to get music (jazz), alcohol (needed an adult for that), and food - which he can totally handle. Gosh, it just really kind of snowballed there. ]

While there was much information available about Genessia itself there seemed to be a lack of transition material for someone like myself from what most here would consider the past. The simple sight of automobiles was panic inducing for someone who had never seen one before--especially considering the bay opens up onto city streets.

Perhaps I should make this suggestion to an official of some kind, but I had not considered doing so until seeing your inquiry.

I would echo the suggestion of water and some small food item.

Fortunately, the other part of the broadcast is much more straightforward.]

Basic toiletries would be good; things like a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant. Stuff everybody needs but not stuff most people have on them when they arrive. A change of clothes would be good too, though given how many different sizes and body types come through here, it might just be more practical to offer a gift certificate to a thrift shop or something.
