[ Sora's face blinks into view, the camera moves a bit, but then it settles - he steps away, evidently he'd propped his phone up on something, and gives a small smile. ]

Hullo, so.

[ He clears his throat and then he looks down to his hands which he brings up to tug at his shirt. ]

There's been a few posts that have been about relationships and stuff, [ His face turns red but he does his best compose himself and he looks up to the camera. ] so I was thinking it'd be nice to have like a singles night somewhere, ... so people can gather around and get to know one another. Yeah. [ Yeah... ] So.

Yeah.

I'm going to find out where a good place is but if anyone else has some ideas or whatever, just .. you know what to do.

[ Nervous laughter vibrates over his body. ] But, I also have another thing!

I been thinking.. when I make these welcome kits for new comers.. like what is some of the stuff you guys wish you had when you first came? Working at the store has given me a lot of ideas of some of the essentials people buy regularly but.. I'd appreciate some feedback, in case I'm not thinking of something! Okay, thanks.

[ Sora walks over to the phone, the camera bounces, then it turns off. ]

[He didn't have to wait long. Lea spotted Sora from the opposite side of the street, giving him a wave to let him know he'd been seen, then waiting for an opening in traffic before ducking across.]

Hey, Sora. All set?

[ Once Sora spied the other he was up on his feet. He hooked his hands to his hips and bounced on the back of his heels. He gave a wide smile toward Lea as soon as the other was close. ]

Hey, yeah! What have you been up to?

Mostly looking into potential new jobs. David- my boss- isn't going to be running for Guardian again after his current term's up, so I figure it'll be good to have options in case the new Guardian decides not to keep me on, you know?

Anyway... [He points up the street.] Ice cream place is this way.

What's the Guardian? Who's David? Oh!! Wait, I know! Like, the Guardian of one of the districts huh? Why don't you do the thing then?

[ He happily follows along, going in whatever direction the redhead leads him. Especially when the destination is ice cream!! ]

David's the Guardian of Genessia City; it's an elected position, part law enforcement, part civilian official. He doesn't exactly run the place, but he's a pretty important guy. And I'm one of his Deputy Guardians.

Not sure what 'thing' you expect me to do, though.

Well for one thing, I'd have to run for the office and be elected; it's not the kind of job you can just apply for. And for another, do you have any idea how much paperwork is involved in it? I can barely handle the amount I have to do being a Deputy Guardian; I wouldn't last a week with the amount that David has.
