Well, I have to admit, this has been a very curious morning.

[Albus Dumbledore is sitting in a chair in front of a small table ~~in a place that is not his normal living quarters shhhh~~ and looking at his own hand with a small, mischievous look on his face.

There's nothing in his hand, until his smears his thumb over his palm and a small hard candy appears. He raises his hand up and drops into the palm of his other hand. And then drops another hard candy, and another. And then he releases a candy cane, and a lollipop, and a roll of taffy, letting them accumulate in a small pile on a table in front of him, each item appearing out of thin air.

It's almost like watching a magician pull a trick, except his sleeves are rolled up, and he doesn't have his wand.

He seems utterly delighted by this, his eyes shining with even more mischief than normal.]

Tell me, would anyone be interested in some candy?

((OOC: Dumbledore is now a deity! Specifically the deity of sweets.))

And the more curious part is when things from your dreams come here!

I imagine it would! Has such a thing happened to you here?

Well... in a way... yes. You see, two people... well one person and a cat are here, and I very much remember dreaming about them. Although, now I'm not so sure it was a dream at all if they're here!

Ah, and would the cat in question be Mr. Cheshire?

Oh! However did you know? Have you met him? He seems to have been here for quite some time!

That I have. He is a very curious cat, but quite entertaining to converse with.

Oh yes, he's quite mad, you know, even outside of Wonderland.

Perhaps, but it is a delightful madness all the same.

He is, they both are.

But that's just the problem. It's quite an impossible thing for someone you dream of to be here, isn't it? Unless the place you went is real and you only thought it was a dream.

Because otherwise, Genessia took people from my head, and I think that is much scarier a thought than going to Wonderland and just not realizing it to be real.

Ah, but just because something is in your head, that does not mean it is not real.

Perhaps Wonderland is both real and your dream, all at once. Would that be so frightening?

Not from my dreams, no. [But from his past and from a popular Muggle children's book, yes.]

It.... it's a tiny bit frightening to be honest, sir.

I'm sorry to hear it has been so unsettling for you. Is there any particular reason they frighten you?

Cheshire and the Mad Hatter are absolutely lovely, but I didn't get to choose what came from my head. So what if... what if the much unlovelier things come out from it?

What are you afraid might appear, Miss Alice?

[She pressed her lips together and then looked down at her hands.]

I see.

If such a thing were to appear here and cause any harm, there are many people who would fight to keep it from hurting anyone, including you. There are many powerful and good people here.

But it shouldn't even be allowed in the first place. I created it. At least... I think I did. Now I'm not so sure anymore. What does that mean if I did create Cheshire and Mr. Hatter and they're here in any case? That's why it's so unsettling, sir. Any stray nasty creature you might come up with just on a whim or from a nightmare and then suddenly it's about.

Good powerful people or no, why shouldn't you get a say in what comes from your own head?
