Well, I have to admit, this has been a very curious morning.

[Albus Dumbledore is sitting in a chair in front of a small table in a place that is not his normal living quarters shhhh and looking at his own hand with a small, mischievous look on his face.

There's nothing in his hand, until his smears his thumb over his palm and a small hard candy appears. He raises his hand up and drops into the palm of his other hand. And then drops another hard candy, and another. And then he releases a candy cane, and a lollipop, and a roll of taffy, letting them accumulate in a small pile on a table in front of him, each item appearing out of thin air.

It's almost like watching a magician pull a trick, except his sleeves are rolled up, and he doesn't have his wand.

He seems utterly delighted by this, his eyes shining with even more mischief than normal.]


Tell me, would anyone be interested in some candy?

[Feeling Gellert follow him is lovely and sweet to the touch, even if his senses are fogged from his own climax. He groans gently when Gellert is finished, and collapses into Gellert's embrace without resistance. The only movement he makes is to curl onto his side, wrapping his arm loosely around Gellert's back and letting him touch him however he pleases.]

You do. How lucky I am to have that.

[Gellert gives an adoring smile, holding Albus even as the other man shifts. He is breathing hard for a few moments more, his body tingling and utterly relaxed. Yet he dare not close his eyes. His lover is beauty personified like this and he runs a hand over Albus's body, humming.]

Who would ever drop you?

[Albus smiles softly before leaning his face close to kiss his chin, his hands palming Gellert's sides as he nestles into their embrace.]

I know you never would. That is all I need.

[The contact makes him chuckle and he slides his fingers through Albus's hair.]

Everyone should have someone like that, don't you think?

[He hums softly at the touch, closing his eyes momentarily.]

I agree. It would be lovely if everyone knew they had a protector, who they would protect in turn.

Oh you are going to protect me? [He doesn't sound surprised, his eyes sparkling merrily.] How will you protect me?

I will, if anything attempts to harm you.

[At the gleam in Gellert's eye, he lets out a short, merry laugh.]

If I answer you, are you going to get yourself into mischief in hope of a rescue, you fiend?

Mm I would love to see how you protect me. It would be very...inspiring.

[He gives him his best look of angelic innocence.]

You assume the worst of me!

[Albus grins at such a look, chuckling once more.]

Are you fantasizing about my heroic efforts, love? I do not assume the worst of you so much as a very particular strain of mischief.

What if I am? [He nuzzles their noses together tenderly, smirking.] You are so knight-like that I can't help dreaming about being rescued.

[Albus nuzzles them together in turn, letting out a pleased hum.]

You wish to be my damsel in distress, then? I shall rush in and save you and carry you off to where I can keep you safe.

I'm less a damsel and more a misbehaved lord, but you have the right idea about the rest.

[He strokes his fingertips down Albus's neck.]

You will carry me off to a place where I can thank you over and over and over...
