[Action for those in Castlevania]
[The fact Flandre was still sleeping was a good thing, maybe it'd stop her from randomly napping around the castle. So any changes were not to be noticed until much later

Looking around, she couldn't figure out why it was so dark...and why her back felt so light. She trips over something on the floor and glances about, trying to concentrate on her wings. When that doesn't work and her next attempt to split into her clones doesn't work, Flandre is worried. She crawls back over to her bed to try and climb back in...to be greeted by her wings laying there, their glow fading. That brings out a short scream from her and the realization of what must have happened when she notices the lack of fangs.

By the end of this, she's barricaded the door to her room with what she could figure out in the hopes she can maybe ride this out without anyone knowing. Also to give her time to try and get her danmaku or her weapon to summon.]

[Audio]

...Is something weird going on again? If so, can it already stop? It's not playing nice, like the drive when it had a temper tantrum.

Something happened...I can't see in the dark Remi.

[She'll leave it at that. No need to fully announce what's going on. Flandre is hoping the meaning behind it is heard..and the fact she's not turning video on.]

[ Well, it won't be long before Remilia comes to Flandre's room... ]

Flandre? I'm outside.

[It takes a moment as the sounds of things being moved..and the obvious sound of it taking a decent amount of effort before the door opens and a pair of blue eyes peer out.]

Remi...What's going on?

...Something, ah, seasonal, shall we say. Humans becoming monsters, monsters becoming human. This time, fate was on my side...

[A pause before the door opens, Flandre standing there no wings and blue eyes. She's frowning in a thoughtful way. It's also obvious she's standing just so to block her bed..even it the glow had faded a while ago.]

...So I got hit with it and means I can't do anything. It means you are okay though and that's fine.

[There is a slight light in this which Flandre offers with a very faint laugh. The little girl isn't thrilled with this with previous events but..she's at least trying?]

At least I'm not four this time.

I shall have to keep a close watch on you. Sakuya will too...

...At least until this... thing ends.

[The frown deepens.]

It took away everything...I don't want to be in the way or a burden.

[But she's not going to argue. If anything she dejectedly sighs and speaks softly after it.]

I'll stay close...I won't wander off.

[ Sakuya won't be far away as well. ]

You'll be fine if you stay close. I'll make sure Sakuya's close by too.

[Flandre is shaking a bit and slowly comes out of her room, looking about nervously. She just wants to be close, even though she knew she'd be safe.]

I know..I'm just worried the castle won't like it...and I was going to go out at some point and see what's going on.

I'll bust a hole in it if it threatens you.

[ She meant it, too. ]

[A tiny smile starts to form as Flandre gently latches onto Remilia's arm for the moment.]

I hope that it doesn't happen but...I know how it's been recently.

[How can she forget?]

[ Remilia hugs her a little. She'll stay close. ]

[At least this comforts the little girl. The tension lessens in her form but she's not going to let go unless she has to]

Unfortunately, it seems zhat vay.

[Rip looks rather relaxed and happy given her current state.What could she say? Rip was thrilled to be human yet again.]

I hope everyzhings okay on your end.

[For Rip, Flandre will turn on her video, her blue eyes and lack of wings probably slightly weird. There is a tiny smile although nervous.]

I'm okay for now Sis but...I'm worried with what was happening while Father was gone.

[She trusted Remilia and Sakuya fully but she wasn't sure if the castle would still tolerate her being there.]

..That and the last time I was like this...I was really little.

[Rip definitely noticed the blue eyes and lack of wings. Where Rip's eyes were always blue, she knew Flandre's were not.]

[Which did bring up the question of what would the castle do...and she might be a little worried for Flandre's sake.]

It vas zhe same for me. I zhink I vas.. twelve vhen I vas turned human last. At least this time ve hafn't regressed in age so, I'd consider zhat a plus.

[At least she's trying to be optimistic?]

On zhe plus side, ve can haf all sorts of foods und enjoy sunrises und sunsets again.

I am, at least I'm not four this time...but I don't think being uh...six or seven helps either.

[But that perks her interest. Keeps her from being too frightened at what could happen. Plus, learning and trying to break out of her shyness around Rip.]

So you were somewhere that had something like the drive too? What was that like?

[Leave it to Rip to look at the bright side of being human. She fully intended to go taste foods that she couldn't before along with enjoying the sun. In recent months.. she's kind of missed it despite being a vampire for nearly a century.]

Vat I meant vas.. I've encountered zhings like zhis before vorld hopping. Zometimes, I vould be an adult vhen zhings like zhis hit or, I'd be a child und not remember vho I vas as an adult. It's alvays been brief periods, no more zhan a veek I zhink...

[A little shake of her head. She didn't talk much about the Thor due to people got iffy about it.]

No...the drive was on the spaceship I was on before being brought here. Took us to a lot of weird places and did weird things to everyone.

Oh...That sounds weird. Especially if it happened often. Mean too if there is bad things going on and you can't be safe.

[Flandre..that's what that means. She shrugs a little bit.]

[She's half serious. If only to show she wasn't fully bothered by this.]

As Remilia requested, Sakuya appeared at Flandre's side a short time later, bowing slightly with a smile.

"Lady Flandre. I am here to ensure your ongoing comfort and safety in the castle. Much of it can be hostile to human life."

No doubt the maid would be capable enough to ensure nothing even got close to Flandre, kneeling down to adjust her skirt and collar. "You have nothing to fear with me by your side."

Flandre jumps slightly but relaxes fairly quickly. Staying still where she would have probably pulled her wings against her back but the little girl was slightly lost without them.

"Thank you Sakuya. I'm sorry to cause more trouble for you and big sis."

Even if she had no control over whatever power that decided to change her, the fact it's bringing others into it isn't fair. Especially since she was still so little as a human.

"I know. I trust you..I'm a little less trusting of what might try and come tis way now.."

"It is never any trouble. I am your maid. It is my duty to see to both you and your sister."

She sank to a knee, reaching forward and straightening Flandre's collar and sleeves. "I shall serve you faithfully as I always have and always will."

"even then, I don't like causing more problems...then I usually do."

Not even going to deny that because even Flandre knows the trouble that follows her sometimes. The little girl stays still, chewing her lip slightly. Thoughts focused on everything going on. Although she looks up and stops to speak again.

"I know Sakuya. You are always there when we need you, weather we know it or not. Thank you. I still feel bad though that this happened."

Sakuya pursed her lips, rising to her feet and flicking her wrist up. In an instant she was balancing a tray containing a tea set and, from the smell of things, bacon, potatoes, and eggs. No doubt cooked and seasoned to perfection.

"Lady Flandre..." She moved over to the small table in Flandre's room, setting the tray down. She began to set the table. "In the years I have served, you have never caused problems for me or others in the household. You are kind and considerate of others." She set the teacup down next to the plate, filling it with Sakuya's favorite spiced tea. Perfect for fall.

"You have made mistakes in the past, but so have we all. I have made more than I could ever hope to count in my short life and I will no doubt make many more. If that is what you would call a 'troublemaker' then I suppose it is a trait we share."

Sakuya was smiling now, gesturing to the seat. "Your breakfast is ready, Young Miss."

Hi Flandre! "yes" and "sorry, not till it's had its way", respectively.

Well? What costume did you get? And what's this "drive" hokum?

[A sigh, Somehow this should have been seen. Although she's giggling a bit, trying mto figure out the voice to the image now.]

That's not fair to a point but..I'll deal I guess.

The drive was what ran the Thor. It liked to do weird things when we were going to new planets like this.

[A pause full of hesitation. Fairly obvious.]

..My costume...ins't one that's safe. I dunno if I can say.

[His voice is essentially the same, barring a huskier timbre.]

Hardly the holiday spirit. It'd have to be a dangerous costume indeed to not be fit for out-of-doors, as all costumes are. Surely it's safe to tell.

[Still takes her a moment. Dampened senses kinda hurt.]

More that it's not safe for where I live. It turned me human.

That's wonderful! And *terrible*! You're in a place that would serve danger to humanity qua humanity!? Over my dead body!

[Famous last words. Still, far be it from him to refuse the call of a DAMSEL IN DISTRESS.]
