2nd Curious Thought [Video]
[The screen at first shows well... a rather dull room in the children's home with a white plush rabbit sitting on the only bed that is slightly untidier than the others. There is, however, a sudden WOOSH, past the screen with a trail of light and glitter going in the air before suddenly Alice somewhat crash lands into Basil.
Wait.
Alice, who usually holds the stuffed rabbit in the crook of his arm is now quite contentedly sitting atop his head, bright blue and black butterfly wings jutting from her back. Does she look as ecstatic as she feels?
Because she's practically bouncing. Wait no, she is bouncing.]
I HAVE WINGS!
[She stands up atop Basil's head, measuring no more than a few inches tall now, three to be precise..]
I have wings! I'm a fairy! Is something like this very common? I wanted to meet one and now I am one? It's a very good thing I'm quite used to being only three inches tall or this would all seem dreadfully frightening! Although, this time I can fly! I couldn't do that last time so getting so much as past a garden took forever.
Ah but this is frabjous! Oh! I wonder if I can do any magic! Do fairies need wands to do magic? Wait, no... I think that's witches... Or maybe it's both?
Is there a fairy I could speak to who might know?
Wait.

[ She claps her hands excitedly. ]
I guess if no one comes forward you'll just have to wing it~
[Video]
If no one comes forward, I'll have to survive on a wing and a prayer, I suppose! [Alice loves wordplay.]

[ She starts giggling at her own joke. ]

Oh yes, Cheshire Puss is one of the sweetest cats I know! Well, to me he is, in any case. He's always helped me whether it be here of in Wonderland.
yes he is a very helpful cat, and talented to!

...That's so unfair.]
Hi, Alice. No, it's actually pretty rare. You're... very lucky.
You should be able to. Why don't you give it a try?
OH! [She flew over to the potted plants in the windowsill, all of them a bit wilted since Alice was still trying to change all the damage done by being unattended to until she arrived a few weeks ago. She circled the leaves a couple of times.]
Is... do I say magic words, I wonder? I don't have a wand... maybe... I just have to say I want the flower to appear and-
[No sooner than Alice had spoken the words for it to happen then suddenly a long stem pushed up past the leaves and a bulb twisted and spun before opening up to reveal a beautiful pink and orange pansy, then another and another, before a small little bunch of pansies sat in the flower pot.]
I DID IT! LOOK MISS VERMILLION!
As the pansies appear in the pot, Mavis claps her hands.] Very good, Alice. Very very good. See? I told you you could do it.

They also live in roomy flowers, like foxgloves, so that'll get you started for residence.
Oh! Can't forget about the river races in the tree petals, either. Got to find one that's just the right shape if you wish to win.
But if you're a nice wolf, then it's very nice to meet you.
And I can't very well live in a flower, Mr. Wolf. If it wakes up, it'll have me in its mouth, and I'm not edible. It's one thing for a bee or a butterfly to stop by flowers, they don't live in them.
But how do you know so much about faeries... and however did you learn to read? Can all wolves read?
Re: [Video]
On the whole I think you'll find wolves are very nice indeed. If you read yourself--and perhaps, your allusion to Riding Hood proves so--I recommend The Jungle Book to learn why. Once you're bigger, of course.
No frolicking in flowers for you, eh? Well, fairies bond so well with fauna they're always named so. 'Tis always the "Fairy of the Rose Tree" or "The Fairy of the Daffodil". A tree might do you just as well.
Yep, it's a riddle.]
That's not enough to answer who you might be. I need another hint, Mr. Wolf.
The Jungle Book, wolves can live in jungles? [She never knew!]
Oh, I love flowers and frolicking too, just not living in them, I should think. Imagine if a bee came in while I slept? I'd be buzzing about it for days! [Ha, puns.]
Re: [Video]
Ah, well, my fur's about the same color as the hair I held back then. That's kept in translation.
[i.e. oh so blonde.]
Oh, I'm sure they could, for at least a few hours. Alas, India isn't quite so varied. Still very worth reading!
A bee disturbing a fairy's sleep? Unless you made it very bright indeed, that'd bee simply unbeelievable.
[See what thou hast wrought.]
Mnn, I would have to make it very bright, lest I bumble about in the dark.

She's just being grateful for that when her morning scroll through the videos reveals Alice--3 inches tall with butterfly wings. She has to suppress a sneer, because allies or no, she still really hates the sanctimonious flying vermin. Green is the one exception.
But Alice...this isn't Wonderland where being 3 inches tall is a lark, and the tightness in Regina's chest tells her this...has become a problem. Like Arya and Charlie. Evie was never a problem. Evie is just a fact and always has been.
She sighs and sends a video message back to Alice. ]
Wands or pixie dust, in my experience.
[ A small frown. ]
Are you all right otherwise?
I must be pixie dust, then, because it seems to be everywhere. [She looked down at her arms and hands, bringing them close up to her face to examine them and saw them covered in a soft, shimmery film.]
Hmm? Oh yes, though... I can't lift anything! It's dreadful! Well, not entirely dreadful. I can now sleep on Basil's tummy or on his head instead of having him resting on my chin. But I can't take the cellular device with me, it's much too heavy to carry! I barely got it upright for this!
I'm very glad my clothes shrank with me. I've not any dolls this size to trade with... I've not any dolls at all, in fact.
Re: [Video]
Yes, yes, there was a never-ending parade of horrible things that could happen to wee-fairy Alice. Or, Regina could do as she'd been thinking she might since the afternoon they met. It would be temporary, while the permissions were sorted, but at least she could protect Alice for now. ]
Alice, love. How would you like to come stay with me for a few days? I could see to it that you didn't have to lift anything, and that you had some more clothes. You could bring Basil, of course.
We would both like to stay with you, Miss Regina!
Re: [Video]
I'd like that too. I can come now, if you're ready to go.
