[Open! Video/Action, sorta!]
Who: Satori and EVERYONE
What: Halloween Event post, Satori has a hard time adapting.
When: Backdated Oct. 19th
[Prelude]
The first thing that Satori found when she awoke was gnawing hunger. Not for flesh and fear, but just...sustenance. She stumbles into the kitchen, her body feeling much weaker, and heavier. Normally, her body would be telling her if she was hungry much later than this. Why, then...?
The second thing Satori noticed was silence. Silence from outside, silence from her pets. Just silence. That wasn't right at all. She picks up a very disgruntled Murkrow from its perch and stares at it for a time. It just ends up staring back at her, nonplussed, as if to say 'I didn't do it'.
She immediately goes to her vidphone...
"...How...how do you manage this! Everything feels so slow and so stiff compared to before."
It's Satori. This time, sans third eye. Otherwise, she looks exactly the same.
"For some reason, I've awoke today to find my powers are gone and I'm a...human. It's so quiet. I'm unnerved and terrified to hear just my own thoughts, but at the same time it's far too quiet. The silence bothers me..."
She grumbles to herself. It seems she's looking for something to eat...
"Are there any tips you humans can give me about...being human? I have no idea how I'm to put such a thing but I'm starting to pity humanity a little more for having such sluggish and weak constitutions."

Flandre's become human too.
Re: [Video]
Poor Satori is almost embarrassed to be in such a state. She looks uncertain before replying with a nod.
"If you'd like, though I hope this new form won't cause complications for you. Considering I may now just look like a quick meal. But knowing you are willing to help me through this is motivation enough."
Re: [Video]
Is it any wonder why she gets along with Dracula when he's not losing it? She is capable of being every bit as vengeful. It was fortunate for humanity that Flandre survived those hunters centuries ago...
"I won't be long."
Re: [Video]
Satori has no recourse but to wait, though she is fairly vocal about...well, being trapped like this. Then again, Remi paying a visit would probably give her some small solace that things won't be as annoying as this.
"I'll leave the door unlocked, you know where to find me. I'll have tea prepared by the time you're there."
[Action]
"Satori, ma belle? I'm here."
Her presence here should help Satori's mood...

She really wanted to, though, but all should could do reasonably was gripe and complain about it.
"I cannot get used to the sluggish gait of human bodies compared to my old form. I am...usually much quicker and more fluid in my movements. Is this normal? I've observed them being rather alacritous when they're afraid or excited. Losing my mind-reading abilities is punishment enough, and this silence bothers me. It isn't any wonder humans are irrational, they are locked up every day with their own thoughts."
Satori almost laughed at the irony of it all, really...
"Tell me a little about these 'unfamiliar feelings'. I've also started to feel human hunger-- Gods, no wonder they tend to consume anything they find vaguely edible."

[He makes a bit of a squicked out face at that, but focuses once more on what they're actually talking about: her condition.]
...never mind that, though, yeah, eating's a thing, but it can be brilliant, just takes a little practice and an open mind, 'though you might want someone to coach you a bit, there, it can be a bit touchy. Couldn't have cuisine, though, if humans didn't at least try to eat whatever they can get their hands on.
And yeah, usually a bit sedentary, given the chance, need lots of exercise to stay fit, well... relatively fit. And the rest of it's a lot of why humans tend to be gregarious, why d'you think they've got Twitter?

Well then, that clears up what has to be done. She's managed to find some bread and is enthusiastically making herself a quick sandwich of sorts to keep her mind and body occupied with something that wasn't hunger pangs.
"...I'm normally quite a sedentary person, even in my original form, so it clearly isn't a human-specific trait. I'm something of a recluse, really, some have said. A stretch or two might be a better idea, after I've finished eating. But...mmh, that only makes me sound intolerably lazy. Gods, I've even picked up their dull wits."
...Though maybe that's just because she's a little more tired, lately.
"Once I'm used to the phantom pain of an entire part of my physiology being absent, I'll stroll around the gardens a while. You don't mind talking a little more as I do, do you?"
Video
Ahehehe, yes I suppose your own thoughts are pretty morbid when they take center stage. Then again, you've always been one to monologue, so I'm sure you'll exorcise them out soon.
Tips for being human, eh...well, of course you'll want to attend church today if you haven't already. Most services are in the morning, of course, though the Catholics have Masses at plenty of hours.
[But then he'd suggest that human or no]
Re: Video
She lets out a small snicker and shakes her head.
"Your proselytizing is appreciated, Ted. Just because I'm upset that my form has changed doesn't mean I'm ready to make my peace with God. I fully intend on figuring out how I'm going to last before this wears off. But, I suppose, getting out of the house would be a start. Reading minds is one of my impediments to social interaction and you're well aware of that."
A noncommittal shrug. Not having her third eye move expressively about kind of confuses her. What did humans do with their hands while they're talking...move them around the same way?
"...Any other ideas that don't involve religion? I may observe, but it isn't a priority. I'm talking about physical needs, like eating, sleeping and the like. I'll worry about spiritual ones after I've figured out how on earth I've become so tired from doing only a couple things at once..."
Re: Video
"Is 'fallible' necessary? Forgive my doubt, but I'd hardly call Youkai angels. Nothing's changed there for either of us."
It was heartening to be recognized so soon, even if he didn't have the self-awareness to know why.
"Ah, you've figured me out. Was it the yellow fur? Glad the costume didn't cover too much."
At her first suggestion, his eyes widened and his tail wagged furiously.
"Yes! Out of the house! That's just the thing."
The notion was more heartening yet; away from hell! Ousted from unreality! Into the great outdoors! Hermeticism delenda est! Or maybe his wolfishness liked being outside that much more.
"Satori, I fear you may not appreciate the close sympathy between body and spirit. But all right, we'll play it your way. Your first impulse is a good one; I can't encourage enough the desire to spend time in public. Just imagine how much nicer it will be without noise! And, why, you can have conversations without knowing what they'll say next! Oh, I'm jealous how much fun awaits you. You've no idea."
Now to deduce why she's so easily fatigued.
"Hmm, there's a couple of reasons. It could be because you're multitasking, which is really impossible. Do one thing at once instead; any more's a jumble. Perhaps you haven't exercised very well? You live a sedentary life at the best of times, and even then you do a lot of floating. Can't rely on your monstrous nature to carry you any more, eh?
Or perhaps the food and air of unreality just simply isn't sufficient? Who knows what prolonged exposure might do? Some stretching and exercise will get your blood flowing. I'm no stranger to the gym, and could show you a thing or two."
