Back again~! [OPEN/VIDEO/ACTION]

[Video]

[The video starts and the person recording looks a bit confused for a moment before she realizes that it is indeed recording.]

Oh...oh dear. How long have I been gone? I'm not sure what happened, but I have returned. I do hope that my husband didn't do anything...too drastic after I left.

For those whom I haven't met, my name is Lisa Tepes. I'm the wife of Vlad Tepes.

[She bows a little bit at the screen.]

I can be found in the Everglade at the Castle, but do be careful if you choose to visit. It does tend to get rather dangerous without a proper guide.

[Action - At the Castle - Open to anyone there]

[Lisa's back and already wandering the castle, warg following her like a lost puppy. She's used to it by now as the Castle doesn't want it's Lady to be without some sort of protection.

She's heading for the library, one of her favorite places to be. Stop her in the halls or say hello while she's reading.]

[ Ordinarily, he isn't the type to rely on these sorts of devices for communication, as he's been told they're for. However, with the current state of things for not only himself, but others as well, he finds himself "tuning in" to this a little more frequently as of late... and he's to be met with shock at who he sees speaking to him over the device. So, remembering how to use these things, he finds himself replying via video capture as well although... what to say? Perhaps best to go with what first comes to mind... ]

Mother... you're here?

Adrian?

[She's rather surprised to see her son here, but she's glad to see him.]

Yes. I am. It's an...interesting story. This is actually my second time being here.

So I... have been told.

[ It's... strange to see his mother like this, almost as if this is some cruel joke being played on him and that she may very well disappear before his very eyes were he to reach out and hope to touch her.

However, there are also a few... circumstances that may prevent him from doing so. ]

You've been reunited with father?

[ He is aware of his return to this realm as well, though has not reached out to him as he is his mother. ]

I have yet to meet him. I'm hoping he didn't do anything too drastic after my fist disappearance from this place.

[She sighs, knowing what he did to Targoviste after she was burned at the stake.]

I'm aware of what happened after I was burned as a witch.

[She looks down, shaking her head. Her hair still hasn't fully grown out and there's some small traces of scarring left from the burns.]

[ He falls silent when she mentions her death, perhaps a look of guilt touching his pale features for that had been a day that had been difficult for him in more ways than one and which he still finds hard to swallow. ]

I want to see you, but I'm...

[ Different for the time being. ]

...I can't go to where father resides within this world.

I see.

[She wasn't aware of what happened between them after her death, she just knows about Targoviste and what happened there and what Vlad did when she first arrived.]

Where would you like to meet then?

[ Perhaps it's for the best she doesn't know of the rift between the two of them now. At least the one which is very much fresh for him back within his point in time in their world. ]

Wherever is most convenient for you that is not within father's domain.

[ If he has to travel to Everglade for her, he will, despite his current state. ]

I'm afraid I don't know much about the area outside of the Castle, but I can get to the gateway.

The gateway is fine.

[ After all, given his current situation, it's not as though he'll be able to track her should she somehow end up lost. ]

I'll meet you there.

[Even though she was human, Flandre still wandered about from time to time. Although she did weld a stick or something, even if logically she knows it won't help.

But as the fates would have it, she turned down the hallway and caught sight of Lisa. The stick drops and she can only just keep herself from running and tackling her in a hug.]

..Mom...Are you really here? Are you really back?

[The blue eyed, wingless child sounds like Flandre at least.]

[She's confused as to why a child would be here, but she catches her and studies her for a few moments.]

Flandre?

[She's checking her over, making sure nothing got to her while she's in this state.]

What happened?

[Unharmed although probably still shaking a little bit since she's not sure if she accidentally lost Remilia or Sakuya.]

I woke up this way...yesterday? Looks like other people got changed into monsters and humans and stuff...I just got unlucky I guess. But..It's not that important..you came back!

[Because that's more important apparently.]

I am. The castle isn't the safest place to be as a human, but don't worry any more. I'll make sure you're safe.

Thank you Mom.

[Incoming hug then! The girl relaxes fully and softly speaks, because she's about 80% sure that nothing gets said in the castle without someone hearing it.]

When you went away, Dad got really upset and mad. He was going to attack and everything and I tired to talk him out of it...

[And then hid for a few days. But keeping that part quiet for now.]

[Not too terribly long after she arrives at the castle, she's likely to notice a... very large white bat watching her. Its head's tilted inquisitively, as if it isn't certain what to make of this - and to be honest, he really isn't. If it really is her, does she remember last time she was here? Does she remember all the people who were here?

For the moment, Soma will just hang from a rafter and observe. He's hesitant to be happy with this - as many times as this place has tricked him and those around him, he doesn't dare to hope.]

[She's going to smile at the bat and give it a small wave as she continues on to the library. She'll talk to him once he's ready. She continues on to the library, the steps familiar to her.

At least the Castle was being nice to her right now.]

[It takes a little while, once she's entered the library, for him to follow. When he does, it's as a human - or as human as he can get, all things considered. He looks... pensive. It's easy to tell, at this point, that he is very unlike Vlad in temperament, even if they share a soul.]

Is... is it really you?

It is.

[She's pulled a book off of a shelf already, but hasn't opened it.]

If I recall, you're Soma, correct?

Soma Cruz, yes. [He bows to her, not the Eastern type he'd give most people, but a style much more familiar to her.] Welcome home, Lady Lisa. Welcome home.

Oh, hello, again.

[The Doctor brightens right up at seeing her show up on video.]

Ah, quite a while, I'm afraid, glad to see you again, though--and looking forward to you straightening him out. Tried to talk to him, myself, but, well, I'm sure you know he doesn't always listen that well.

[He smiles more wryly at that, like he's unfortunately sort of used to people just not listening.]

Wasn't very long for you, I hope?

[He pauses a second, there, looking more concerned.]

I'd heard that you've got some... misfortune waiting for you.

[She can only sigh and cover her face with a hand for a moment.]

I'm afraid Vlad can be rather...dramatic. I do hope no one was hurt, regardless of what he did.

[Her hand falls from her face at the mention of the misfortune.]

Unfortunately, the Church believes that what I am trying to do to help people is a form of witchcraft. I just wanted to actually heal people with science instead of superstition.

[The Doctor sighs exasperatedly.]

There's the Church for you. Sorry about that, I've tried to talk them out of that sort of thing, but, well, they don't exactly listen so well, either. Big fan of humans, I really am, but you really don't always make it easy, you lot.

[He shakes his head, offering a wry smile.]

...well, he didn't go as far as he'd said he wanted to, at least. Tried to talk him down, but not so sure I can take the credit for that; I recall Remilia had some doubts, as well.

[ Remilia had stayed within the castle, and had been keeping an eye on her sister Flandre when she felt like wandering...

And then a 'ghost' turns up. Lisa may find a Remilia attaching herself to her in a hug. ]

Mother...? It's you, right? You remember me...?

[Few people called her Mother and she wasn't Adrian. She smiled at the hug returned it, glad to see the girl again.]

Remilia? It is and I do.

I missed you... We all thought you were... gone.

[Rip can't help it, she's.. curious about who would marry Vlad Tepes. She's already heard a bit about Lisa from Remilia and Flandre...and a bit from Vlad as well. Rip just hoped her adopted father will take Lisa's arrival well...]

He hazn't done too much az of late ozher zhan arrive back in zhis vorld after a month avay.

The infamous count has a wife? I never would have suspected as much.

[He wouldn't have expected such from the vampire that led a march of monsters to the Everglade mayoral office.]

I mean this with all utmost respect, Lady Tepes- you must have an incredible will to have tamed such a soul.
