Eleventh Mission [Video/Action]

[The video starts off by focusing on Erza's face, with her expression as serious as it almost always is.]
Given the time of year that we're in, I have an important question to ask everyone.
[Her expression softens a little, as she starts to feel silly about asking this.] What are some good Halloween costumes for couples? I'm sure Mira and I can come up with some ideas, and we have plenty of costumes, but outside input couldn't hurt.
[She holds up the camera so that Mirajane's in the shot, seeing as she's busy working at the bar.] My girlfriend's the one with white hair. I figure she'll look good in anything, but that might help with suggestions.
[Action]
[Once she's gotten some answers, Erza can be found in one of several places:
-in the Fairy Tail guild - between getting blood bags for the newly-vampirized Mavis and spending time with Mirajane, she finds plenty of ways to keep herself busy
-patrolling Fayren - with so many people being transformed recently, she sees it as her duty as a deputy guardian to make sure that people get what they need, like different food sources or small changes to their living conditions.]

You know, it might make for an ironic twist to dress you up as a devil and me as an angel. Demons are often associated with the color red, and angels with the color white, so it might match our hair nicely. What do you think, think I can pull off a halo and a set of fluffy white wings~?
[She was settling a piece of strawberry cake in front of Erza, on the house.]
By the way... There was a little something I was hoping to discuss with you and now seems as good a time as any if you've got some free time. Although... you might want to talk about this in private, but I can always save the more intimate parts of this discussion for later.
[Action]
[Erza blushes a little at the discussion being intimate in nature, but once she's finished the slice of cake that Mirajane was so kind to get her, she sets the plate aside and stands up.] I've always got free time for you. Seeing as I'd rather not be kept in suspense, somewhere private is fine with me.

[Mirajane laughed, blushing a bit at the kiss on the cheek even though it was a simple enough gesture. A part of her still felt giddy that Erza was comfortable enough with their relationship that she could display such public shows of affection. Which fittingly enough was something close to the subject that Mirajane wished to discuss.]
Alright, let's talk in my room, okay?
[She took Erza's hand with a warm smile, leading her through a door to the hallway, and when the door closed behind her...]

[Mirajane kissed Erza soundly on the lips, pinning her to the wall for a moment in impulsive delight.]

Sorry, I just couldn't resist returning your earlier kiss.
[So she hadn't quite made it to her bedroom, and the kiss she gave Erza was a bit more extreme than a kiss on the cheek, but Mirajane had a bad habit of impulsiveness when it came to Erza. She at least had the decency to wait until no one else was around to kiss her like this.]
So Erza?
[Mirajane was idly stroking Erza's hair through her fingertips.]
We've both been here for a bit over a year now, and we might be here for several more years to come. I've been wondering... do you think about the future much? About what you'd like to do? About us?

[When the door closes, Erza immediately feels a strong sense of giddiness as Mirajane pins her to the wall and kisses her. Even after nearly a year of dating, it felt so good to have these kinds of romantic moments that she might not have gotten back home. The redhead eagerly returns the kiss, lost in the moment.]

I-- um, well-- [She clears her throat, trying to get her mind out of the gutter.] There's a few things I've considered, but I don't know if... er... what did you have in mind?
[When it came to the future, the main things she had thought about were sex and marriage, but she wasn't exactly ready to bring either of those up yet - they were mainly fantasies that she'd had.]
[Action]
[Now it was Mirajane's turn to blush, also a little embarrassed at broaching the subject since she wasn't sure how well Erza would handle it, or just how deep Erza's feelings might be for her.]
I'm not trying to pressure you into anything, and I'm willing to wait for you for quite a while, but I wanted to know how you feel about things like Marriage, children, raising a family together. Obviously we don't have to do any of those things if you want to keep things the way they are now but...
[Mirajane was fidgeting, tapping her right foot against the heel of her left foot.]
We're both women after all, so having children would have its own different hurdles we'd have to come to if we ever came to that decision. I'm just curious to know if that's something you've ever thought about having in your future, or your future... here...
[Mirajane's blushing happy face started to turn a bit more somber as another complication occurred to her once more.]
There's the possibility that if we had children here, one or both of us might disappear from here one day and leave our child behind... would that be fair of us to do that to our child if we even ever had a child? I'd like to think that even if we were gone, we have many good friends here who would look after and love any child of ours just like we would look after any other member of Fairy Tail.
[On the one hand Mirajane hated the very idea of abandoning any child they might have, on the other she knew that in this place they may not get a choice in the matter. She also was among many of the orphans who grew up in Fairy Tail without blood parents, so in a way she also felt that Fairy Tail would always look after its own and their hypothetical child would be safe. But what if every member of Fairy Tail went home? Or worse? Versions of them appeared that might be taken aback that another version of themselves had a child, and treated that child like a pariah? No... no that would never happen, she knew Erza and herself well enough to know they'd never do that to a little boy or girl, no matter what timeline they came from. She waved he hand, as if trying to brush away silly and idle thoughts.]
I'm getting carried away with my own thoughts. This was meant to just be a way to gauge how you might feel about the idea, not actually planning for the eventuality since you might not even ever want children. If marriage and children are in your plans that's okay with me, and if not? I'll accept that too, and simply love you in any way you're willing to accept.
[She looked up at Erza with eyes shining brightly.]
But Erza? I want you to know I'd do anything for you... anything.
[She wrapped her arms more tightly around Erza in a hug, and nuzzled her face into the redhead with a happy sigh.]

As for children, it's not something I'd considered before... [She's not even sure how they'd have kids, but as she dwells on the idea, her face turns redder and redder.] ...but I'm sure we could find a way if we put enough spirit into it!
Besides, any child of ours would be as much of a member of the guild as we are. Even if we left this place, as long as they have bonds with others, they'd find a place to call home.
[Erza nestles closer to Mira, content to hold her girlfriend in her arms as Mira does the same to her.] And I'd do anything for you, too. It all sounds so wonderful.

[Mirajane almost felt like she could cry of happiness when she heard Erza say that she was far braver than she ever could be. Her teenage self would have given anything to hear Erza admit something like that... and even now she wasn't sure just how true it was, but she had to admit there were very few instances where Erza would do something Mirajane felt she'd be too cowardly to attempt. Capable of attempting was another question.
There it was... Erza had thoughts of marriage, and not just marriage, but marriage with her someday! Mirajane had of course suggested the idea of kids between the two of them, so it was obvious how much Mirajane thought about it, but she wasn't sure if Erza was quite at the point where she envisioned the two of them as a married couple. Even more it seemed that even though Erza hadn't thought of having children (and the idea made her turn as red as her hair) she didn't seem to object to the idea!]
There's a part of me that's always wanted to be a mother, you know? I practically raised my siblings, and some of the younger members of the guild, so I love the very idea of having children of my own to take care of.
[Or children of their own.
A playful grin found its way onto Mirajane's lips when Erza professed she'd do anything for her too.]
So... would you flap your arms and cluck like a chicken for me right now?
[Just an idle tease to see just how much she felt like reciprocating her offer.]

[One magical costume change later, and she's dressed like a giant strawberry - she'll have to stay standing, seeing as the armour doesn't exactly allow her to sit down.]
...Though I'm not sure what Mirajane could be to go along with that... Or perhaps this will work!
[This time, she changes to something that's slightly more normal - a prince costume, which she had gotten as a reward for a play that she acted in. The reward was originally cash, but most of the money went towards repairing the theater, and Erza considered the experience more valuable than money.]
Mirajane would make for an excellent princess!

Rose... please stop giving my girlfriend strange ideas about fruits and vegetables.
[She liked the Prince and Princess idea well enough, but the idea of dressing up as a rutabaga or a blueberry was a bit embarrassing. She'd do it if Erza had her heart set on it but... she'd rather not have people putting the idea into Erza's head when it didn't exist beforehand. She knew all too well about Erza's love of eccentric costumes.]

[Mirajane was willing to do a lot for comedy, but dressing up as fruits was apparently a bit much for her. Who knew?]

{ The video looks strangely distorted. Zeref... looks different. He has wings, now, and even his hair is a different color. When he speaks, its as if the acoustics in the building have been changed, giving his voice a strange echoing effect.
He's been keeping an eye on Mavis ever since her transformation. He's less worried about his own. He's just upstairs, in case Erza wants to speak in person, but ever since Mavis' new... culinary tastes, he's rarely let her out of his sight. }

[Erza's mind was racing with the possibilities.] I figure Mirajane could handle one of my armours, but some of the heavier ones might be exhausting. Then again, we could wear different outfits throughout the night...
[She stops her ramblings for a bit.] How are you holding up with your change? Does anything feel different? [Mavis's cravings didn't happen all at once, so she wants to make sure that something similar doesn't happen here. She figured that, if there was any sensory overload, Zeref could handle it - he fixed that problem for Eileen, after all - but since she hadn't been changed, Erza feels like it's her duty to help those who had.]

I feel more... connected, to everything around me. It's an odd feeling. I imagine this must be how Irene feels while enchanting the world around her.

[She got the costumes figuring that they might need a decoy at some point. ...even though it should be obvious to most that she couldn't pass for Happy, Wendy, or Carla, even at a great distance.]
That doesn't sound too bad. As long as you don't rearrange the entire city, that is.

She did that against my orders. She'd never tested that spell before, and I explicitly instructed her only to use it in an emergency. But, the way she tells it, Acnologia appeared right in front of her, so I guess that would qualify.
Whatever the case... I don't think this event gave me the ability to do that. And I don't intend to try.

I'm glad to hear it. So have you and the First ever picked out costumes as a couple? I'm sure she's talked you into going to a costume party before.
