[While Genessia has more than its share of benevolent dragons, leave it to Gellert to find a truly vicious one. The crack of what sounds like a whip accompanies the bellowing roars of the beast well. Gellert might look like a hero, silhouetted as he is by the dragon's flame, and he certainly seems unfazed by all the fuss.

But then he laughs and the sound is unnerving.]

Now, now, is that necessary? I just need a little blood. You won't miss a vial or two.

[He brings out the Elder Wand and he raises it, slashing it viciously through the air and...

Through the dragon's hide. Any blood spilt is drawn, with another quick spell, into a waiting flask. Of course the dragon doesn't like that at all. Gellert Apparates, bringing his audience along on a dizzying ride over the treetops, with the dragon in hot pursuit.

He shifts towards the mountains, where the cold air leaves frost on his audience's view. Then the communicator turns and Gellert is grinning wildly, madly, diving down into what looks like a mountain cavern.]

Wasn't that exciting? [With his feet on the ground, he ducks into the cave and brings out the spoils of his battle.] It is so very hard to acquire dragon blood.

[There follows an audible thump and he looks up.]

Poor thing. They want to bury me in here, is that it?

[She rolls her eyes at being called sweet. The moment he's in her reach, she might be slapping him up upside the head if he didn't sweep her up in hug right away.

...The sound of the dragon that close doesn't exactly give her confidence in him getting away in one piece. Even if he is laughing like a maniac.

~~Lets face it. she'd be doing the same thing so they're both nuts.~~]

Idiot. You're letting it get too close.

[A swat upside the head won't stop him! She will be embraced regardless because she is his friend.

Then again, at this rate, he might not have arms to hold her. He glances over his shoulder and the picture will go black as the dragon finally gets hold of his cloak.

Damn. Damn damn damn! Gellert shrugs off the garment and lashes out at the beast, using a much more powerful spell to send the dragon falling to the ground. He takes the opening to Apparate, at last, to Fayren. She will see him staggering in front of her cave, falling to his knees with a shaky sigh.]

[Fuck. Fuck and Double Fuck! Li's about to scream at him about being stupid when she hears the tell tale sound of him apparating and then the next moment he's in front of her cave.

The phone and blankets are forgotten as she scrambles towards the entrance.]

Faster than a dragon huh? You fucking moron! There has to be better ways to get dragon blood than this!?

[His face is bloodless and his shirt is bloodstained from the graze of dragon teeth. It's a shame his skin isn't armored! ~~Though Albus wouldn't like that.~~ He turns to look at her, smiling weakly.]

I didn't consider other plans. This one felt the best.

[Until it didn't.]

[She can smell the blood long before she sees it and quickly makes her way towards him.]

You are such a fucking crazy ass idiot sometimes Gellert.

Next time, make sure I come with to make sure your backside stays in one piece.

[Already she's leading him in to somewhere to sit.]

Now, lets see how fucked up you got from that dragon and lets see if I can do anything about it. If not, we're calling Albus.

[He accepts the verdict; she isn't the first to call him crazy. Shocking, right? With her guidance, he enters the cave and sits down, pulling his shirt off over his head. The teeth marks are unmistakable, but they aren't terribly deep.]

My backside is fine. It's my back that stings.

[Now is not the time to be sassy, Gellert.]

Don't worry him unless you have no other choice.

[So very shocking. Li's just calling it as she sees it and okay fine, she might be proud of him for going against a dragon and angry for not being invited. However, right now she's more interested in the teeth marks as he takes his shirt off.]

Good news, you'll survive the bite and I wouldn't say your backside is safe just yet.

[Because she might just be tempted to beat his ass.]

...Yeah, well. I think just washing this out and wrapping it should work. Patching people up isn't my specialty. I kill people for survival don't forget.

[He glances at her quickly, his brows rising. Should he start running or - ?]

Are you cruel enough to beat me when I'm down?

[Gellert gives her a sad smile, trusting, for the moment, on their friendship to save his backside.]

Do I look tasty right now, all covered in blood?

I'm not cruel, I'm a Kelpie.

[She snorted faintly as she went for some water she kept in a ceramic pitcher near her sleeping space. She snagged a rag as well and returned to try and wash the blood away from his wounds. Even if the wounds did make him look tasty. ]

Yes you do and you better damn well appreciate that I like you well enough not to eat you.

[So yes, their friendship was saving him from a very messy end.]

Semantics! [He jerks away from her at first, misliking the sting. Yes, he can be a gigantic baby. What of it?]

I appreciate you. If I didn't, I wouldn't have come here.

[Gellert stills himself for the cleaning and closes his eyes.]

Have you healed completely?

[She just rolls her eyes as he jerks away. He can be a gigantic baby all he wants, Li's not stopping until her task is complete and the wounds are clean. Even if it does mean the scent of blood is making her hungry.. or well, hungrier than usual.]

Good to know. Next time you decide to do something crazy dangerous, bring me with. Two insane idiots are better than one.

[She kept cleaning his wounds until she was satisfied. Now it was just finding things she could tear up for bandages...]

Yes, I have. I don't even have any scars.

[The care is touching and even Gellert can't remain in a poor mood. Once the blood is cleaned away, he will grab her hand and hold it against his cheek.]

What have I done to deserve my dear Kelpie?

[He creates bandages with a flick of his wand. There are extras too - just in case she ever needs them.]

[The sudden show of affection makes her pause and still a little. Though, it's not hard to tell that after a moment she's relaxed and letting him hold her there with some measure of trust.

Though her hand probably smells like blood from cleaning him up.]

All you did was be yourself.

[What else could he have done to deserve her friendship and loyalty? Yes, he was breaking her curse but, he's also somehow endeared himself to her. Same as Albus has. Maybe Li should be asking what the hell the two wizards were doing to her to get her to be so... so sentimental towards them.

She lets him hold her hand to his cheek a little longer before she goes for the bandages. He needed those taken care of after all...]

[He doesn't care if she smells of blood. It isn't the first time he has been surrounded by that scent. Dark Magic requires disgusting and mangled ingredients and he has never shied away from killing them for himself.]

I can't say that has worked well for me the majority of the time.

[Durmstrang had gotten tired of him and his antics; his parents had followed suit. Albus had been the first to accept him - initially at least - but Gellert had even driven him away too. He thinks it might be inevitable that Li will do the same.

He releases her hand reluctantly and tries to stretch, wincing at the tension in his neck and shoulders.]

I'm going to hobble out of here like an old man.

What can I say? You're enough Kelpie that you might as well be herd.

[Which meant that unless he did something so horrific that even Li couldn't stand, then he was stuck with her friendship for quite some time. Especially considering her very nature lead to her committing murder on a regular basis. Unless he could top that...]

Or you're going to rest before you leave. Then maybe you won't be hobbling out of here.

[She started to bandage him up, making sure to get it snug as she went and checking for more bleeding. Once she was done she sighed and then rested hands on his shoulders for a moment.]

Now relax. If you don't mind, I can try massaging some of the tension out. Otherwise, go rest in my bed for awhile. I'll stay near the entrance and make sure that damned dragon didn't somehow follow you.

No wonder I get along with humans so poorly.

[Murder is usually what drives people away from him. If she can accept his bloodthirsty nature then they might last as friends. Clearly he should have been left with a herd of Kelpies as a child.]

I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome.

[He lifts his arm carefully to help her in her task, breathing shallower. The pressure of her hands on his shoulders is nice and he tips his head back, looking up at her.]

They won't have a clue where I went. My scent trail was cut off in midair and it reappeared...here.

[Gellert smiles at her worry.]

I wouldn't say no to a massage if you don't mind.

You're not overstaying your welcome if I'm telling you to stay, idiot.

[She sighed as she gazed down at him as he tips his head back up to look at her. There's definitely fondness in her gaze but who knows what kind.]

Well, at least I won't have to worry about a dragon trying to destroy my home then.

[She relaxes a little and then starts to massage his shoulders.]

Just be glad I like you enough.
