[While Genessia has more than its share of benevolent dragons, leave it to Gellert to find a truly vicious one. The crack of what sounds like a whip accompanies the bellowing roars of the beast well. Gellert might look like a hero, silhouetted as he is by the dragon's flame, and he certainly seems unfazed by all the fuss.

But then he laughs and the sound is unnerving.]

Now, now, is that necessary? I just need a little blood. You won't miss a vial or two.

[He brings out the Elder Wand and he raises it, slashing it viciously through the air and...

Through the dragon's hide. Any blood spilt is drawn, with another quick spell, into a waiting flask. Of course the dragon doesn't like that at all. Gellert Apparates, bringing his audience along on a dizzying ride over the treetops, with the dragon in hot pursuit.

He shifts towards the mountains, where the cold air leaves frost on his audience's view. Then the communicator turns and Gellert is grinning wildly, madly, diving down into what looks like a mountain cavern.]

Wasn't that exciting? [With his feet on the ground, he ducks into the cave and brings out the spoils of his battle.] It is so very hard to acquire dragon blood.

[There follows an audible thump and he looks up.]

Poor thing. They want to bury me in here, is that it?

I know you know my reasons. But I am grateful all the same of how much you acquiesce to my fears. I would not have blamed you for wishing for a more open lover.

[He smiles at the caress, pressing another kiss to Gellert's scalp, letting his mouth linger in his hair.]

I know she wouldn't. I admire her audacity. It will be one of many things I love about her.

If you were hurt because of your feelings for me, I would...well, first, be furious. Then I would feel awful and maybe guilty. I don't want to feel any of those emotions and I most especially don't want you hurt. So if I need to be quiet and careful, it's a small price to pay.

[He is completely relaxed and he grins wider at the affection that passes so freely between them.]

She also won't leave any room for any other to attempt to court you.

[He smiles at that, before pressing a long kiss to Gellert's mouth.]

Thank you, then. You are sweeter than I would have ever let myself hope for.

[Albus chuckles gently, nosing at Gellert's face before answering:]

Ah, but such is the joy of being a wife. You will have free reign to chastise anyone who tries, though I will of course discourage them as well.

[His heart beats faster, stronger. How is it that Albus can make him feel so weak and so strong at the same time?]

I trust you will keep my...kinder nature...to yourself?

[He grins helplessly and traces along Albus's jawline.]

Dearest, I will do more than chastise if they are truly serious.

Ah, of course I will. I intend to hog it selfishly all to myself.

[His eyes shine with amusement and delight at the touches, as well as Gellert's possessiveness. Hugging at Gellert's waist he says:]

I admit, I enjoy your sense of propriety, love.

How will you chase them away?

I need to thank you enthusiastically for your silence.

[It feels good to be held and he touches Albus's lips with open tenderness.]

With all of my knowledge, charm and mischief. They will know where I stand and that you are protected.

I'm sure you will find some delightful way to show your thanks.

[He smiles at the touch to his mouth, his lips stretching underneath such a gentle contact.]

No one can fare well against your knowledge, charm, and mischief. You will be a most formidable foe.

I'll find the best present for you. Just be patient.

[He kisses the edge of those lips, memorizing the feel of them.]

As I should be. You are a charming genius and I am not alone in dreaming of being in your bed.

You have all of my patience. I have faith in you.

[He smiles at the kisses, closing his eyes to savor the feel of them.]

I think you may overestimate how many desire my company in such a way. But even if there were hordes, you would be who I chose above them all.

[Not many have ever said those words to him - and the few that had ended up regretting them. Albus won't.]

You are blind to all but your books. [Except when it comes to him, apparently.] I almost pity them.

But...

[He slides into Albus's lap.] If it means I get to have you for myself, good.

Perhaps I am. I admit, I have never had to learn or understand any flirtations other than yours.

[When Gellert shifts to his lap, his hands wrap around his waist, tugging him in so that he sits snugly on him.]

It is for the best I've never had to worry about romance with any others. Instead I can be kept by you alone.

Do you regret not experiencing more of it?

[He settles himself, pressing their hips together with his arms around Albus's shoulders.]

We are meant to be with one and one only. I am sorry you must care for someone like me.

[He shakes his head gently.]

I am not a man made for many conquests. I am devoted to a fault, I fear, and you are my strongest tie.

[Albus presses a slow, gentle kiss to Gellert's jaw, nestling his face near his throat.]

Do not apologize. You are all I need or want. And you have cared for me more wonderfully than I could ever ask for.

[He cradles the back of Albus's head, smiling slowly, openly pleased.]

I share your devotion. No one can take your place.

[Gellert squirms against the other man in a very planned manner, his lips finding his neck for a gentle kiss.]

I am doing as I please, love.

[He hums, low and pleased, as Gellert’s lips linger on his neck.]

Then never stop. We can bask forever in our mutual devotion without ever fearing competition.

Once we marry, we will bury that worry for good and not mourn it.

[He makes a point of resting his cheek against Albus's neck in companionable silence. He loves kissing and touching and having sex, but he loves just resting beside Albus just as much.]

[Gently, he strokes his fingers through Gellert's hair, running lines across his scalp.]

I like that. Being tied together and the world needing to acknowledge that they we belong to another.

[He feels tingles running down his back and he arches slightly.]

They will acknowledge it and I will keep you until we are both so old we turn to dust.

[He smiles, running his fingernails gently over Gellert's scalp.]

Even longer than that. I will still keep ahold of you in the afterlife.

[He groans against Albus's ear, eyes closing.]

If you want me that badly, I will stay. [Grinning, he pulls back to kiss Albus's nose.] Or I will just stay because I want to.

[He chuckles gently at that.]

Ah, stay because you wish to. I would hate to hold you prisoner.

They could lock me in a cell with you and I wouldn't think it imprisonment.

Funny how emotions can change everything.

I suppose having the right company fixes many problems.

[Though he does look more melancholy at the thought of Gellert locked away. He tries to push those thoughts aside with a slow kiss to Gellert's face.]

At least you would not want for attentions that way.

It would quiet me.

[He doesn't want to be caged either, but his jailers would find him much better behaved if he had his Albus with him.]

Mmm that is the idea. [Gellert pulls Albus into his arms and grins, capturing his lips for a passionate kiss.]

[He makes a small, pleased sound of surprise as Gellert tugs him in, though he returnst he kiss with equal passion. His arms wrap around Gellert's waist, and when they pull apart, he looks pleased and a little dazed.]
