And tell God I said goodbye | Video & Action: Genessia City
[Video]
Well. That was exciting.
[Presumably he means his arrival, since his is an unfamiliar face.]
Where does one go for fun around here?
[There are probably more important things to tend to first, Lucifer.]
[Action: Genessia City]
It's a good thing that he'd woken up in some place where no one else could see him -- and that he'd figured out that his true face was showing so he could hide it again -- because until he figures out what sort of place this is, it's better not to go showing it off to anyone he comes across. Especially given what happened the first time he did that.
So the strangest thing about this man strolling through Genessia City is his clothing. Not the fact that it's an expensive suit, bespoke, not off-the-rack. It's more the state of it: crisp white shirt marred by what appears to be several bullet holes, though not stained by blood and he himself has no injuries; a tear in the left jacket sleeve, and what appears to be blood if looked at closely enough. Otherwise his clothes are clean and impeccably cared for.
Where is he going? He doesn't know, but that's never stopped him before. If he acts like he belongs for long enough, then he's sure to figure something out soon enough.

[Assuming he means whatever happened just before he arrived, the Doctor figures he ought to find out whether it was a good exciting or a bad exciting before deciding how to explain the whole desynchronization thing.
Not that he's letting on his ulterior (albeit well-meaning) motives for asking, of course, wearing a quirky sort of smile as though he's just wondering if he missed something fun.]
And really rather depends what you like, doesn't it, might want to narrow it down a little, pick a hobby or two for starters, I can probably help if it's shopping or parties or musicals, bit trickier if it's zero-G olympics or traveling across all of time and space, you know, just for example, sorry, hello, don't think I caught your name, I'm the Doctor, and you are...?

[On second thought, he might want to find someone else to answer his question.]

[ At least that's what everyone else seems to be doing. Bucky hasn't been here that long, though. So Lucifer might want to take the advice with a grain of salt. ]

[And a good way to lose all of his money, because here he does have limited income. Especially since he's just arrived and doesn't actually have an income yet.]

Still, the bullet holes and blood catch his attention, as does the casual demeanor of the man wearing them. Admittedly, that makes him pause without thinking as he walks past. Though, it could just be that the man is simply another dead arrival -- after all, Jezebel himself had arrived with a scar across his neck.]

She couldn't have made better if she tried. The fit was flawless, the colors perfect. But those holes and tears almost ruined the appearance entirely.
"Excuse me," the princess-slash-former-villain says, eyes taking in just how bad off the suit was. "I don't mean to be forward or rude, but if you like, I can probably either repair that suit or make you a new one entirely."
She's hoping he says the latter, honestly. "I've been sewing since I could walk, so it wouldn't be trouble. I'd kind of love it, actually." Evie adds with her most charming grin, holding out a hand decked out in what's clearly a hand-made red leather fingerless glove as she introduces herself.
"Evie Mills."

He started a whole rebellion about that. Ask him about it sometime; he's not shy.
"Lucifer Morningstar," he introduces himself, and he's actually paying more attention to the glove than anything else. "Is that your work?"

I'm afraid that I have only just arrived in this fair city, and thus I am a poor source of information on its sites.
But I hope that there is a cinema and a library... [Yeah. He just said that.]

"Excuse me... are you alright? You look like you might have been injured..." It's the blood that draws her to this conclusion, despite there being none anywhere else on his person. Strange. There's concern in her voice, but overall her expression remains serenely neutral beyond the hair in her face.
no subject
"You mean this?" He points at the tear in his sleeve. "It's just a scratch. It'll clear up in no time."
That might not have been what she meant.

Tipping his head to one side, he studied the tears. Not from a blade or arrows. A type of weapon that he wasn't familiar with. What made him pause was the lack of blood or injuries. Even the most powerful Downworlders and demons bled. Alec couldn't imagine what type of being could be injured in such a way and there be no obvious signs of wounds. So it had to be something unusual had happened. "By the Angel, what happened?" he blurted out before he realized most beings probably didn't refer to Angels the way Shadowhunters did.
no subject
"Oh, angels had nothing to do with this." At least there's that much going for him at the moment. "I have nothing to worry about from them." He is still their brother, after all.

There's nothing accusative in his tone when he says, "Hey," and adds, "You okay, man?" because after all, he could as easily be some kind of superhero or an amnesiac who put on the first clothes he found as a demon.

Speaking of which. "You wouldn't happen to know where I could get a new one, do you?"

Action!
While he might be casually exploring the city, Dove is headed back to her apartment, heeled boots tapping lazily at the sidewalk... until she feels him. She stops dead in her tracks, tensing and whipping her gaze around in the man's direction, eyes wide. Her counsel would be appalled by their Lady's reaction, for the outright lack of dignity in it, but she can only stare in shock.
At least her wings are hidden, but there's no hiding the Divine Light in her if he can sense it.]

He scans the crowd, and when he fails to see a familiar face, he turns so that he can see a different section of the crowd. He makes a full circle before he's satisfied that it's not someone he knows, but he still doesn't know who it is. Then he looks closer, and discovers who's staring at him. He starts to make his way toward her through the crowd.]
