Right. I just remembered being unapproachable has been kind of my life-long style, and while my backup always made sure people came to her with their problems, she's not here. So this is an open anon warm-up before the actual guardians debate. Anon so if you're too chickenshit or your question is too stupid to put in front of everyone, do it now, relatively free of consequence.

*Okay, now she laughs, very much amused by this whole thing, and yet also rather enjoying this kind of attention*

*Faye examines her nails - they're really nice in this red colour, so she continues to paint them as she talks, occasionally looking up at him*

*Faye pauses in what she is doing and pouts at him*

It's always been really gritty, violent, gorey, and heartbreaking. I guess I have a divider in my head. Opposite of pleasure.

*Faye wriggles so she is propped against her pillow, device also propped up so that she can let her nails dry*

...what? Oh, don't make her speechless with comments like that. Faye had been about to blow on her nails again, but now she is just looking at him with pouted lips and surprised eyes, and all of the blushing. No one has ever suggested that she might be hot because of anything other than her looks*

*But she was laughing and getting round to blowing on her nails again. Torture isn't funny, but Smoker is. She stops again at mention of working out*

[Laughs and shakes his head.] I'm not cute, and I don't torture. That's just how I fight. It seems like cheating and too dangerous to choke them unconscious, so I just beat into surrender. The smart ones anyway.

[He takes off the jacket, and puts it in the back of the chair, moving that aside and sets up to comm to watch as he piles up what appears to be what he always uses for weights to do pushups with one arm, holding the desks and motorcycle parts on his back with the other, and a whistle for the dogs to join him, so clearly it's routine.] I don't know what Roronoa used while he was here, I think Bulla mentioned a gravity training field though. I should probably look into it.

Although sparring kids will always be weird, no matter how feisty they are. It makes me feel like Garp instead. When I was younger, back in my academy days, I used to try to kick his ass whenever I got angry. Never got anywhere, but to have the situation reversed now is still too weird.

*Okay, now the watching is getting very interesting. She is much more focused on what is happening on screen than she was before. Those muscles, though. His arms, his shoulders, his back...

Oh, right, yeah, he's talking*

You do know that I can't really take in anything you're saying while you're doing that, right...?

Actually not much. Part of the smoke devil fruit. I can handle all weather except wind.

Oh yeah. [A grin as he switches positions and muscle groups.] Not as good as sex, but it does feel damned nice.
