Who: Gellert, Lithium and Albus.
What: It's time to shift a curse.
Where: Fayren forest.
When: Early december-ish.
Notes: There might be mentions of blood/death and of course the nastier aspects of the curse. I will update if necessary.
He was ready. The shift will require a potion paired with a spell, which makes it a more convoluted process, but he is confident is will work. Still, to be cautious, he sends his Phoenix Patronus off to alert Albus. The bird will relay a simple message:
"I'm ready. Meet us in Fayren."
Once he has all he needs, Gellert ties his hair back and Apparates to the mouth of the cave. He peers inside and grins, knocking on one of the walls.
"Rise and shine, darling, it's time to free you!"
If it all goes well. It has to. He refuses to accept any other outcome. Lithium has suffered enough for ten lifetimes - if not more.

"Will do. Though, hopefully I won't have to shout for you." She hoped. Li was tying the robe shut as he dashed out the door and made her way back towards the bed to sit on the edge to keep an eye on her blonde friend.
"...Don't think I can thank either of you enough for this."
no subject
"Aw Albus can appreciate a beautiful female too." he glances at her when she is close, smiling as if the endeavor was nothing at all, "It was easy for us. Don't worry about it."
no subject
When he returns, there are several bottles hovering in the air about him, and he plucks three from where they dangle before sitting on a chair next to where Gellert lays. "Here. Take these first. They should make you start to feel better."
no subject
Lithium pulled the blankets around him, tucking him in and rubbing his shoulder to try and get some warmth in him when Albus came back in with several bottles hovering around him.
"Hope there's something for chills and fever in that mess. If I would have known the curse would do this, I would have insisted on another way." Li was just.. worried, okay?
no subject
Or not. The deep chill will surely go away eventually. Maybe if he sleeps first...
Albus's voice rouses him and he narrows his eyes accusingly. Not that he could ever be truly mad at the man. There is something about Albus that repels that emotion.
"...fine." he frees a shaking hand to take a vial. This is probably a bad idea.
no subject
"My apologies, but you need these," he says. "The first one should dampen your fever. If you can take the rest, then the last will help you sleep all of this off.'
no subject
And perhaps ready to move further out of the way if it seemed like they wouldn't stay down. "You sure he's going to be able to stomach these?"
no subject
He downs the first vial and then the second, grimacing at the taste. But his shivering quiets almost immediately and his body relaxes against the mattress.
no subject
"There. That should end the fever," he says, before plucking a few more from the air by him. "Here, now just take these -- these should boost your strength and hopefully quell any further aftereffects from making you ill again."
no subject
Hopefully they knew what they were going then because Li had no idea.
"Eventually, one of you is going to have to explain these potions to me and what can and can't be done with the things. But, for now... as long as they work as they should, Gellert should be able to sleep some of this off, right? "
no subject
"Let me put it this way: those without Magic cannot make potions. Surely part of our power is transferred into the brews. Some of them even require certain feelings and thoughts." his eyelids are beginning to feel unnaturally heavy and he barely refrains from yawning, "Albus, yours are always...sort of strong..."

Eventually she turned her attention back to Gellert, watching him and moving to gently tuck the blankets around him more. Maybe it was the mother in her coming out a little, who knew. "If you want, I'll stick around with Albus until you wake up again."
no subject
But maybe later...
The warmth is tugging him down and his eyelids are closing.
"Mm..." he can't help relaxing around the pair of them and in the next moment, he is asleep.
no subject
He quiets while Gellert starts to unwind, letting him drift off to sleep without interruption. When he's content that Gellert is completely out, Albus reaches down to tug some blankets over him, covering him gently and letting him stay asleep.

"...Was the curse really that stressful on him? I mean, I knew it was hell... It was designed for a Kelpie." Her voice was quiet and worried as she tugged the robe a little closer around her.

no subject
"Am I really free of it?" Because after dealing with that hell for 300 years, suddenly being free of it left her reeling a little. In a good way but, still wanting to make absolutely sure it's gone. "And how long do you think he'll sleep?"
no subject
With a small smile, he says, "But I do think that the curse afflicting you should be transferred completely now."
Nodding at Gellert, he says, "I'm not sure. He's far more energetic than I am normally, but this did take its toll. I'll stay here until he's awake and seems well enough to be on his own."
no subject
Which meant taking a few days to make sure things didn't backslide was probably a good thing. Though, she did have confidence in Gellerts skill. So, at least in that they agree.
"I really can't thank either of you enough. The weight of that hell is gone. I think I can finally be a kelpie again." she smiled slightly. "And when I'm back to being fully healthy, I suppose I should be keeping an eye out for potential Stallions for next spring."
