[There's a few short, soft lines of a rather playful Christmas song under her breath as she waits for the feed to start, then a bright smile once it's up and running. She's sitting in front of her fireplace, it appears, with her eevee crawling up her shoulder, a blanket draped across her, and a book in her lap.]

Hey! Would anyone be up for going out tonight, or this weekend? My treat, of course, [she offers, pushing her hair back and making an apologetic face over her shoulder as the little Pokémon topples back from the motion. Oops.] Things went well last time, and I thought maybe it would be fun to do during the holiday season as well.

Ladies, you're invited too! I'm not really... looking for anything specific. [Her eyes flick to something off camera, and her cheeks heat, but she mentally shakes it off.] I just want to get to know some more people, or have a good time with friends that still put up with me. [A laugh]

[She grins, playful but honest.]

That's true... This would be an easy way to weed them out though. [A shrug and a wink.] Not many men like their hands charred.
[Of course, neither do most women, but she has much more experience setting men straight when needed, even if the handful of times have just been a rare nuisance.]

Weeding them out makes it sound like there more nice guys around than assholes... I'm not sure how true that is.

But sure. If playing with fire is what you like, why not ask everyone around?

[Hmm.... That almost sounds like a loaded observation...one that she's... very familiar with, actually.

She tilts her head back and forth, considering it.] I'm not either, but I'm told finding a good one is worth a shot... for whatever that's worth. [That might be a mildly questioning appraisal on her face for a minute, but she masks it with another dazzling smile seconds later.]

Eventually you just come to the point where you're strong enough to handle it either way, right? [Faye seems more than capable of handling herself... it's one of the things that intrigues Dove about her.]

"I like going out!" Well that's an excitable green-haired girl. "I like weekends! And I like food!"

Oh boy. Dove, what have you gotten yourself into?

[Her eyes widen at the sudden rush of excitement, but she laughs in return, delighted by it.]

Then it sounds like we have a match! [Look, she worked with excitable kids for years; regardless of age, this type of thing thrills her, though she does wonder if she can keep up.] Do you have any particular favorites?

"Yay!" Oh gods she was so happy. And a little bit too close to the camera. "I like anywhere and everything. There are so many unusual things here. Nothing like back home. So I'm fine with anyplace!"

What activities were you planning for this outing?

I didn't really have anything specific in mind. Just felt like treating some people to a night out and getting to know more of my fellow citizens! [she shrugs, smile bright.] If you have ideas, though, I'm all ears~

[She shrugs a little.] It worked pretty well the first time. I actually met a few of my closer friends that way. [She does consider it a moment, though, before grinning a little.] At this point, I figure I should be bold, if nothing else.

Yeah, yeah... [She makes a somewhat coy face at him.] You've never seen me set anyone on fire, have you?

No. [ He shrugs and refuses to feel sheepish about being protective of her. ] But Gran would say you being a badass is no excuse for me not being a good man.

[ A woman dressed in scrubs with a stethoscope hung around her neck appears on screen. She smiles brightly. ]

Out sounds great. I don't get off work until 8. Where were you thinking?

[Oh! Another new face! The angel can't help but beam; for once in her life, she actually has a decent shot at having a real group of girl friends.]

Oh, that's fine! We can grab food, if it's not too late for you to eat.. or coffee or something if it is, [she suggests.] Other than that, I don't have any plans at all. I just figured this was a good season to reach out, you know?

One of my colleagues recommended a patisserie, I've been dying try. Pastry and coffee, and if we're feeling it, there's a club a few blocks away.

Oh, we could do a lot of things! Shopping, dancing, drinking... parts of the city are covered in lights, too. Movies, the museum...
