09 ★ Action
[Allen didn't feel so great. His nose was blocked, his throat was sore and he was pretty sure he might be running a slight fever. But when he saw what was going on, he just couldn't help but want to charge in and help, illness be damned.
So he changed his innocence into its usual claw form as he set about ahead off to deal with the one closest to him, using his cowl to moving around the other, causing it to become confused for a moment while the young man landed on the other side.
After a brief moment and before he went into attack he found himself coughing slightly. Looks like the cold was having some effect on him as the snow monsters was slowly starting to walk up behind him.]

Link seemed unbothered by the lingering smoke as he emerged from a nearby street, glancing around for any other enemies before his gaze settled on Allen.]
You should be more careful, Walker.
no subject
I know. I cannot help when I need to cough or sneeze though.
[He moved his hand back to the side before looking around. They seem to have been dealt with but it didn't take him long to notice that the snow was slowly starting to form.]
Um... Seems like it didn't work, they are slowly forming again. [He was already ready to get back into action, at least if it wasn't for the fact he had to sneeze.]
no subject
I was trying to not use to much force in consideration for any nearby civilians or buildings, but perhaps that was unnecessary.
no subject
People seem to have gotten to safety, so it should be fine to just do what we can.
[Allen went for one of them that had formed more than the others, swiping at it and sending the snow back to the ground once again. So far it seemed so good, but Allen himself found himself having to deal with the sneeze, covering his mouth with his right hand.]
That's one down. [As he spoke he found himself frowning slightly. It was reforming again.] Or not. How do they keep reforming?
no subject
There's either someone controlling them and making them constantly reform or there's a specific way they need to be defeated. Or perhaps a weak point.
[He made another gesture, sending another chain of seals to surround the reforming snow beast. The papers began to glow and sparked like they were electrocuted, attempting to freeze the creature in place. Even if he couldn't keep it from fully recovering and rebuilding itself the prison should at least keep it in place.]
no subject
I don't see anyone controlling them, but that doesn't mean that isn't anyone from much further away.
[However little did they know there was someone in a brown coat and pointy ears nearby with a method to at least seal them away. For the time being Allen was on the lookout for any other monsters as he soon spotted one forming behind him.]
Ah-! Behind you. [he soon used his cowl to get back in slamming down on the one that was currently forming.]
no subject
They're more annoyingly persistent than Akuma...
no subject
Yeah, except these can reform, Akuma cannot when we destroy them.
[Allen went to deal with another, slashing away at them as he soon glanced over towards something he was seeing out of the corner of his eye.]
link! Did you see that? Or am I going crazy?
no subject
Not so fast- [With a flick of his wrist long needles shot from his sleeve to form a seal around the figure and try and bind it in place.]
no subject
Care to tell us why you appear to be watching us?
[They didn't speak right off the bat, but it seemed like they couldn't move either so after a few moments they finally spoke.] We are here to give you something to stop the monsters from reforming.
[This caused Allen to look puzzled if for a moment.]
Should we trust them?
Action
[Silicon can put aside Allen's strange appearance for now: She runs up behind him, staff swung back... Then unleashes a clobbering smackdown on a snow monster as it tries to sneak up on him. The crystals on her staff light up and set off minor explosions, melting snow into a slush.
She takes another two hits before feeling like she's effectively broken the monster down.]
Mister, are you gonna be okay-- Wait. [Giving him a double take. She came because she saw white hair, but,] You're not an old man.
Action
I'm not. I'm sixteen. But I can understand the confusion. [He couldn't help but smile as he tugged at his hair.] I do have the white hair after all.
no subject
[Silicon scratches her chin, embarrassed by the mistake.] I didn't mean to say anything rude... Uh.
[Awkwardly, she moves to brush her coat free of snow.]
Are you okay, though? Be careful! Snow is angry weather.
no subject
[He knew that honest it was a mistake and not really something to be annoyed about or anything.]
I am fine. I might have a bit of a cold, but fine. As for the snow this isn't normal snow...It usually isn't like this as far as I know. But I don't know what is going on though.
no subject
[Silicon wrinkles her nose at that. Why is he out in the cold if he has a cold? She does understand illness, though. More than understand it: Alchemists deal with it a lot.
She reaches deep into her large coat pockets, hunting around for something.]
You mean like the sniffles? Are you running a fever?
no subject
[He was being stubborn about it, even if the fever was slowly getting to him.]
I am just hoping to help as many people as I can here. So we should focus on getting the snow monsters.
no subject
[Silicon sets her staff down and drops to her knees, really hunting through her pockets. She's so consumed by the task that she doesn't realize another snow monster is approaching from behind her.
Finally, still oblivious, she finds something.]
Here you go! Just crack the lid on this and gulp it down! [She holds up what looks like a test tube, topped off with a cork. If he does take off the lid, the liquid will warm up in an instant... and just be regular tea.] You should keep your insides warm if you're sick.
no subject
It won't cause any chaotic problems, will it? [Sure he could drink potions in the last world, but that was only after he knew of the positives of it.]
[action]
He drops down when it appears the boy is being surrounded, grabbing an arrow from the quiver on his back to help clear a couple up.]
Forgive me if this is out of line, but you should be in a bed resting, not fighting snowmen.
[action]
I'll be fine. I'll rest when this is all over.
[He snuffed for a moment, he really was going to be stubborn about it as he looked around.]
no subject
I must insist.
[Hanzo doesn't know why he cares so much when he did similar things in his youth. He takes down a couple more snowmen, permanently now that he knows how to stop them from regenerating.]
no subject
Shaking his head, he turned his focus toward the situation in hand, moving to deal with at least another one.]
And I will just be stubborn about it. I just really can't rest while people need help. Ill or not I will keep going.
no subject
Then I am not leaving.
[ If this is a game of being stubborn, he can play it well. ]
no subject
[He at least was starting to get some idea of how to deal with them anyway as he went into his pocket. With the way the conversation had been going, he had forgotten about them.]
Oh, if you need to seal them away there are some stone things you'll need. Do you have any?
no subject
[He knows they will only continue to come back unless they are sealed away, but he only has a handful of them, and isn't sure he will be able to afford more than that for now. Still, this seemed like a reasonable situation to use them in.]
I have a few. [Hanzo is quick to retrieve the item from the pocket of his jacket though he's not quite sure how the work, just that they do.] Need one?
no subject
No, I have a couple myself. It's how I know about them. [He reached into his pocket and pulling one out, destroying one of them and throwing the stone to seal one of them away.] It seems really simple to use.
no subject
I do not think I will ever be used to this place. [He grumbles under his breath and takes down a couple more before he's out of arrows and has to retrieve them from the piles of snow.]
no subject
[He took out another before moving to capture it.]
The world could have been in a constant war.
no subject
[The second omnic crisis would be exactly that. Perhaps being here wasn't as much a misfortune as Hanzo once believed.]
I don't suppose you'll agree to rest now.
no subject
[He had used it as an example, he hadn't honestly expected someone to say that.]
I said I would, right? Is everyone around okay?
no subject
[Hanzo doesn't appear too troubled about it now because he's more concerned about the person in front of him collapsing of exhaustion He removes his glove to press a hand to his forehead, fingers sliding under his bangs.]
They are more okay than you are. You have a fever.
no subject
I'm sure it's fine, nothing seems to happen while we are away. Though that's more what people say. [He had a fever... Well that was to be expected honestly, he didn't feel 100%v after all and still felt awful.]
Ah... guess I'm not getting better at all.
no subject
Please do not be stubborn about resting your body. I would rather not have to carry you home if you collapse somewhere from exhaustion and neglect. [Hanzo is being more dramatic than necessary, but he's doing so for what he believes are noble reasons.]
If you need anything, please contact me.
no subject
[Which right now at least seems to be the case.]
Though, hopefully, I'll be fine on my way back to Fayren.
