Just a reminder everyone! The polls are open! [She might not be running for Guardian this time but she's still taking her civic duty very seriously.] Time to choose your Guardian again. I know, and you do too if you've followed the debates, that Fayren has two excellent candidates. I happen to know Qubine better because he's been my Deputy for three turns and has been doing an excellent job!

...But I know voting is based on personal convictions, so I shall not try to influence you. [She winked.] Just do this for me, go vote!

[A pause.] Also, the party was nice... But the Guild Hall's main room is not going to clean itself and you shouldn't expect Mira to do all the work. [This last part is obviously addressed to Fairy Haven's residents.]

Anyway, I hope you all had a great Christmas or whatever equivalent of it you celebrate in your homeworld. And if someone can help me find mistletoe, I'd appreciate!

I was curious as to what made you give up the mantle... but you don't need to answer if you don't want to. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed serving under you.

I just thought I would give others the chance to try and help out Fayren. When you stay in a position for too long, you tend to forget to look at things under a new light. A change might bring improvements and give me the opportunity to focus on a subject I've been wondering about: Those weird events. I want to dedicate more time to this.

I enjoyed it too, Konoka. And I don't know if you're aware but Fairy Tail is looking for a second resident healer. Maybe you'd be interested? That way we'd still be working together, somehow.

Mmmm, that's a good point. It's kinda like how you take a break from studying, and that's the thing you needed to see certain things from a new point of view.

After giving it some thought, I think I may make the Heals on Wheels successor after all.

Oh, you know... Primarily ealing Guild Members and residents, or anyone who comes seek shelter at Fairy Haven. Ever since Aizawa opened his hero class, the number of our residents and regulars has been growing.

Of course, you might need to help anyone who gets injured in the nearby forest because we're the closest. It would be regular healing or magic healing, depending on the need. And Liora would work with you.

Though another thing that I wonder about... I don't want to give up my business just yet, I need to figure out how to balance it given everything else that's going on.

Hello, Mavis. I was hoping to do something for my hatchday, but I didn't know what to do, and those snow beasts got in the way...

Your... Oh! We need to celebrate that. What about a belated birth... hatchday party! We could even make you a cake. [Granted she didn't know if Mirajane knew how to make an insect cake but they could try.]

A belated party? I suppose it couldn't hurt. Dove was giving me some suggestions, too.

[Her eyes widen at the mention of a cake.]

...Can you really make an insect cake? I think I've seen some in my world. I don't know what kind of cakes they were supposed to be, but they were left sitting out for the insects to get into.

It never does! What matters is not to let such a big event go uncelebrated.

Oh... That seems a little bit uncertain. How can you tell which insects will go into it?

And well, if you know a good recipe, I wouldn't say no. But if not, I'm sure we can figure it out. It can't be much more difficult than the strawberry candy cake we made with Mirajane once. And I'm sure Floette will help pick the insects.

Well...I can't really tell what insects will go into it, but I don't think it matters. I'll eat any kind of insect...except if they're as big as me...

I don't know how to cook anything...

I enjoyed the party, Mavis. { There might never be a day when he's fully comfortable with being around that many people, given his Curse, but Mavis had at least gotten him to relax in that kind of an environment. That was more than he'd ever thought possible. }

I only hope that the next Guardian will do even half as well as you did. You ran unopposed the second time. The people of Fayren trusted you that much.
