Hello, Citizens of Genessia! I suppose this is as good a time as any... My name is Satou Kuroneko, and I will be the new Guardian of Genessia. I look forward to working for you all! Please, feel free to bring any concerns to me at any time. I'll be working on enacting a few changes to the system, so I would appreciate any and all feedback as I get started.

I would also like to hire new Deputy Guardians. I've got the funds to hire two or three new Deputies and will be taking applications until next Sunday. I would also like to hire a Secretary for our Guardian office. If you're interested, please stop by the office or call me back about an interview.
I'll give you more details about what I'm looking for, but.... For the moment, I'm really hoping to talk to people who know how the Police Department works, and people who know about healing. Of course, people who are strong are also going to be very important.

[Satou will be at the Genessia Guardian Office for most of the day. She's working on making some IKEA-isc furniture for the office, including four more desks and a lot of rolling chairs. Of course, as a magical girl, she's able to cheat a bit... That's why the furniture pieces are floating all around her and putting themselves together.

When someone arrives, she waves and lets the furniture land softly on the ground.]

Well, the children's home is terribly lonely. I don't think that's so much a problem as it just... is.

[ Andy is elated to know that her girl Satou won the Guardian elections for Genessia. Before Genessia she felt she would be insane to vote for someone so young, but this whole place is crazy anyway so she was willing to take a chance. But she voted for Satou mostly because of what she's seen from the young woman giving her a lot of faith in Satou's ability to be Guardian.

Andy was walking to the Guardian's office in Genessia at the same time Satou made her announcement video in the network, so Andy can't help but reply as she was walking down Genessia's sidewalks ]

Hey hey-hey~ Congrats on the victory, Kitty! I'm so proud of you!

[ Yes, that's Satou's new nickname from her. She waves at the camera while holding a paper bag that's hooked to her thumb ]

Guess where I'm at?

[ Andy turns the camera so the front of the Guardian office is within view just over her shoulder. Then she reveals what she's been carrying, which is a paperbag from the local bakery ]

Here for that interview too, with donuts!

[Satou is at first paying attention to the video, but she notices the new presence when Andy gets near. The furniture pieces settle around her, showing how Satou is trying to arrange the office space for her future hires.]

Donuts? For real?! [oops, too much hype.

She giggles, clapping her hands together.]

Thanks for the congratulations! But I won't go easy on you with the interview~~!!

[ Andy keeps on walking until she was right at the entrance. She shrugs at Satou's statement, not surprised or having it any other way ]

I'm counting on it! But more curious what's goin' on in that noggin' of yours for what sort of things you wanna ask.

May I come in now?

Don't worry toooo much. It's just some simple stuff, honestly.

[She nods, stepping aside to let Andy further into the office. The seats are made, but not the desks.]

Sorry that it's a bit of a wreck right now. I'm working on setting up. Sit anywhere you like, and let's get started.

[ Andy steps inside the Guardian's office, shutting her device into sleep and tucking it away in her jacket pocket. She sighs with relief now that she's out of the cold, looking around and waiting on Satou to close the door before she hands the Guardian the box of donuts as a congratulatory gift ]

Here ya go, consider that my congratulation gift!

[ She doesn't really earn a lot of splurge on gifts. Andy takes her jacket off and neatly hangs it on wherever it's appropriate, taking a seat as instructed and waits for her friend to get things started. Smiling and rhythmically tapping her lap, Andy shows that she's ready for this interview ]

Aaaalright! Let's boogie.

[Allen couldn't help but be drawn. One it was someone he knew and the job was tempting. It was the possibility of helping more people than his current job. But she brought up a point he knew he could at least help with otherwise.]

I work as an officer so I know a certain thing about the way the police work, but not how Detectives work as they do different things to an officer.

[Considering Allen has a uniform unless he goes undercover which he had been doing recently. Just a shame he couldn't die his hair it never seems to last long.]

I will be interested, but only when you have the time. I'm sure there would be lots of people who would want to after all.

[He was also glad that he was feeling better. He really hated being stuck indoors doing nothing.]

I'm glad to be better, honestly. I didn't enjoy being stuck in bed.

I'll be free all afternoon, so drop by whenever suits you. I've just been rearranging the furniture and stuff, so we can call see each other.

[She giggles softly, nodding at that concern.]

It's never fun, but you gotta do it. Was it the cold weather that got you? Are you taking care of yourself?

I should be a couple of hours. I just need to finish... filling out paperwork for a job I just did.

[His writing since having gone to another world has at least vastly improved. So people can actually read what he writes at this point. Not perfect, but it would do.]

I don't know, but it's over and done with so I don't need to think about it. As for taking care of myself. I am. Others make doubly sure of that.

[Bulla stopped by after working at her PR and marketing business, so she's in her business clothes. It seemed as good a time as any to congratulate Satou and inquire about applying for Deputy Guardian.]

Hi Satou. Yes I am. Or at least setting one up, if you're busy right now. Congratulations, by the way.

[Although she's a bit disappointed in herself for not winning, she is at least pleased that she managed to get as many votes as she did, despite how long Gale and Ayame have been here. It's what reinforced that she should pursue applying for a Deputy position. She wants to show everyone who supported her that she's not a quitter and that she was serious about wanting to protect people in an official capacity.]

Bulla-chan!

[Satou feels a stone of guilt sink into her chest. While she knows that the voters picked good representatives in Guardians, she hurts for her friend. A part of her had really hoped that they could be Guardians together and protect people as a team, so having that dream dashed hurts too.

She nods slowly, her smile softening.]

Thank you. Yeah, there's definitely time, if you're ready. You been at work?

I was. Weirdly enough, every single meeting today was with representatives from companies that make alcohol.

[She's guessing it has something to do with the ads her company launched for a rum brewery recently, but it's still odd timing.]

At least I'm all dressed for an interview, right?

Really? Are those difficult? I don't think I've ever seen you drink... [So she wonders what Bulla says at those meetings.

Nodding, she grins again.]

I only drink rarely. Last time I had anything to drink was at Fairy Haven when Smoker and Mr. Aizawa were drunk and Smoker challenged me to outdrink them. Mr. Aizawa was just sober enough to factor in my metabolism and bow out of the contest.

[She giggles a bit at the memory. Maybe it was a little mean of her to participate in a contest like that, but Smoker hasn't gotten drunk on the network since then. Some lessons have to be learned via awful hangovers.

She takes a seat.]

Aw, Dante's great. Plus, you can keep me in the loop regarding Attleton that way. It'll be weird not being there all of the time.

He's great at being a pain in my ass. Not like I have much choice I guess. Can't think of a better paying job, and being a Guardian ain't my thing.

I have military and peace-keeping experience, ma'am. Not sure if that will translate into police matters, but I'd like to throw my hat into the ring anyway.

[What Satou hears is an adult male. Sorry. She knows that a lot of votes didn't go her way because of her age and girly magic. Having some adult deputies might reassure those people.

Of course, the experience is also useful: Satou hasn't met many others with military training.]

[Ted would be more discomforted about a teenage girl being in such a dangerous spot, if he predicted any real danger coming to the Guardians whatsoever. When it came to the Genessia office in particular, however, something deeply interested him. Something he'd really, really like to be close to.]

I'm actually interested in the part time secretary post. I'm a file clerk for the GCPD and would run a tidy and we'll organized office.

Would you be able to balance both jobs? A major concern of mine is making sure GCPD and the Guardians are separate. I want you all to feel free to call me out and keep me in line if I'm not doing a good job.

I think so! I'm with GCPD as a civilian so it should be quite simple to take a few nights a week plus Saturday mornings in terms of hours? Plus honestly I think having someone who knows the department well can help, like a middle man.

I'm planning to open a training center here in Genessia City, so people can learn more about their strengths and weaknesses. I figured that if so many people want to help keep the cities safe, it's my job as Guardian to make sure they can keep themselves safe first. Otherwise, they just become hazards to the professionals.

[He brightens at that]
