 As the new Guardian of Everglade, allow me to congratulate the other winners. Now then, I will require deputies. First, I'm sure Sakuya would be happy to come work for me since Dante so kindly let her come work for me, and second, I plan on hiring more deputies.

As such, I will be holding interviews for the position, or positions, should anyone else be interested. Ability to make good tea is very welcome, encouraged, even, but not necessary.

Now, do keep in mind that I shall be speaking with our Mayor regarding the Bounty Licence scheme I plan on enacting, among other things. Like undead rights, for instance.

One last thing: Salary is negotiable, within reason.

Now then, on with 2019. Let us make this year a good one.

Satori appears on the feed with a small smile and a cup of tea on her desk.

"Heavy is the head that bears the crown, so it's said. If you need help negotiating about undead rights, I still have some copies of own efforts from my stint as Fayren's guardian about the rights of non-humans."

She adds, in typical sardonic form... "Every little bit helps, I suppose. But I'm not sure whether you'd accept someone from your personal life butting into your politics."

"It's nothing, really. I'll forward my notes your way as soon as I can. If there's anything I can do, Remi, I'm only a call away at most."

While Satori's smile is faint, it's certainly there. Even here, she's not one to show her emotions so plainly on her sleeve.

"Ah, right...I've also been thinking, once you've dealt with that whole deputy nomination business, we ought to properly celebrate your victory. The option's open, so feel free to surprise me."

Satori isn't usually one to ask people to go out somewhere with her, but considering it's Remilia, after all...

For a moment, Satori's caught offguard for once, letting out a momentary look-away to show her slight confusion...

After a moment's hesitation and consideration, Satori replies...

"...That's fine. I'd be happy enough, so long as it's as quiet as you claim."

Satori was not found of noise, mental or audible, of course. Somewhere nice to catch up and enjoy Remi's company is fine enough, and if she recommended it, it'd have to be excellent. She'd have to defer to her partner's tastes on this one.
