[The feed shows a rather upset looking young man - with a rather impressive set of horns. He adjusts the device, not accustomed to such technological knick-knacks. The Genessia Commonplace's entrance is behind him. His voice is low and rough.]

What the hell is going on here? I didn't risk everything to save the world, just to end up being abducted to another one! My people - ...Ugh, damn it! [Sighs. His draconic left hand reaches over to touch a mark on his right shoulder.]

Well if we're stuck here, like that illusion woman said, then I might as well fight alongside you. I'm Darc, King of the Deimos. If there's a way to release us from this "Genessia", then I'll help find it. But I'm not here to make friends! So don't count on it!

If there's anyone else from my world, especially Deimos, then say so.

[When Satou sees the commonplace in the background, combined with the stranger's introduction, she's able to quickly deduce how new he is. She puts down her paperwork and waves to the camera, smiling in as friendly a way that she can.]

It's nice to meet you, King Darc. My name is Satou Kuroneko-- I'm in charge of protecting Genessia City right now, as its Guardian.

I appreciate your willingness to help, but first thing's first: Are you settling in okay? Do you have any questions about living here?

[Darc's response comes from inside one of the commonplace's apartments.]

I'm fine. I'm used to worse than this. [He gestures to the spartan but functional room. He's placed his welcome brochure, map, and pendant (with a green stone) on the bed.]

The papers I got said I'm supposed to find a job, but...I've never done that before. What job do you suggest for a warrior? [Darc gets a "wait a sec" look on his face.] You're a Guardian...as in the ones mentioned by the woman in the illusion? You protect this place?

Hm, that depends. Everyone here has different abilities and skills, and some of them can be used for more than fighting.

[Satou nods,] I may look young, but I promise that I'm very capable. If you're interested in protecting people, there's a police department in every city. You may want to start by applying there.

[He finds a relatable thread in Satou advocating for herself; he's only 17. The hardness of Darc's expression fades, at least enough for a smirk.] I had to fight to become king. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

What's a police department? Sounds like it could be promising.

How...what? [His brows furrow, then he shakes off his confusion.] Nevermind. If that's really the case, then I'll just have to survive this too, like everything else that happens to me.

[There's a small, glittery gold dragon on the screen. She's immediately curious about his appearance; he looks somewhat human, and yet he has scales on one hand? He doesn't look like any of the other half-human beasts that exist in Sornieth either.]

[She stops herself, as she realizes it's rude to ask what he is right off the bat.]

Um...I don't think anyone really knows how to get back...at least not of our will. But they're working on it. The Schnee Company people, I mean...

[Huh. If he had to guess, the creature on the other end of the feed seems like a dragon. Just not like any dragon he's seen before. Much smaller and cuter.]

That's what everyone's saying. Even so, I won't just sit around helplessly.

[His tone lightens, even if just a little.] You're the first being I've seen so far that isn't human - or at least doesn't look like one.

Well, you don't have to. Do you know a lot about technology? Or maybe science? I need to get back to my world as well, but I don't know either of those things, so I don't know how to search for a way back. I've been...kind of lost since I've been here...

[She fidgets with her talons for a moment.]

There are some other people who aren't...human. I'm a dragon...a Fae dragon from Sornieth. My name is Liora. Qubine is also from Sornieth, if you ever get to meet him...

[Shakes head, frustration seeping into his tone.] Not really, no. That's more of a human thing in my world.

[He seems a little relieved to hear there's other non-humans around.] The dragons of my world are my ancestors, through my father. [Smirks a bit] They're a lot bigger than you, though.

[Guess who is just wandering around and notices all that - noise. The Doctor walks over in his long brown coat; which is open and showing his blue pinstripe with his white shirt and red tie and red sneakers in snow and randomly eating a banana. Bananas are good]

Sorry, so sorry. You can't return when you want. But you will return - eventually.

But you don't havef to worry about whatever things are going on in your world.

[Ten doesn't smell human but like rose, sex, lollipops and space and - Darc may or may not hear the double heart beats]

[Who the hell is this guy?? Darc doesn't pick up the double hearts, but he does pick up the unique scents, though he doesn't recognize all of them. ("Sex" comes across to him more like hormones and musk.) But the confusion gives way at the stranger's second statement.]

What do you mean, I don't have to worry about my world? What's happening while I'm gone?

Nothing. It's like you never left. You could be here for years and pop back home and then come back - only to find out that the time spent here and in your home universe aren't equivalent.

In other words; time passes differently between the dimensions and here. Which here is a nexus of a multiverse in case that part wasn't clear.

[There's some confusion again, but also relief.]

If that's really true...[He sighs.] I still don't really understand what's happening, but at least my people aren't abandoned.

...Thank you for telling me that. [He's still guarded, or at least is trying to be. But he doesn't usually shy away from showing gratitude.] Who are you? I'm Darc, if you didn't hear already.

(A King? Of another species - or is it race? - of course, but a monarch nonetheless. Daenerys is nothing but polite - if a bit cold - in her response.)

I have been told we will not be missed. Your people will be as you left them. How you spend your time is up to you, but if you find a solution, I trust you will share it.

That's what I've been told. I can handle that. In the meantime...well, I might as well fight for this place, and for finding a way home - which I will share if I find. I didn't become king by letting people down.
