[The feed shows a rather upset looking young man - with a rather impressive set of horns. He adjusts the device, not accustomed to such technological knick-knacks. The Genessia Commonplace's entrance is behind him. His voice is low and rough.]

What the hell is going on here? I didn't risk everything to save the world, just to end up being abducted to another one! My people - ...Ugh, damn it! [Sighs. His draconic left hand reaches over to touch a mark on his right shoulder.]

Well if we're stuck here, like that illusion woman said, then I might as well fight alongside you. I'm Darc, King of the Deimos. If there's a way to release us from this "Genessia", then I'll help find it. But I'm not here to make friends! So don't count on it!

If there's anyone else from my world, especially Deimos, then say so.

[As Darc pieces things together, he lowers his hand from his sword. His arms cross over his chest.]

Do you think I'm some kind of animal?

[He doesn't like that - though it's slightly better than the "potential test subject" he was worried about at first.]

A creature, yes. But that doesn't mean you don't have a mind of your own or feelings for that matter.

Doesn't mean you're savage or can't be reasoned with.

[Despite everything, Darc cracks a grin and laughs wryly.]

For someone who doesn't look like he puts up much of a fight, it's pretty bold of you to approach a "creature" you don't know like this and assume those kinds of things.

[He can respect you for that, at least, Newt. Much of Darc's tension is gone, though he still keeps his arms crossed and his shoulders straight. As he continues, he speaks with pride of his heritage.]

I wouldn't us "creatures", but my father wasn't human - he was a Deimos. And the Deimos evolved from monsters. So maybe you're half-right.
