[When this turns off, the girl in hanging upside down. She looks bored and is quiet for a moment, trying to figure out what to say.]

I...I guess getting bored of my normal stuff was a long time coming. Can only watch people and draw for so long..

[Flandre rolls over carefully, due to her wings and flips through a sketch book, random drawings scattered in it. Chewing on her lip for a moment, Flandre then looks at the camera and offers a smile.]

I guess it probably make why I'm doing this obvious. Back on the ship, we used to have jobs everytime we stopped at a new world. I kinda want to try doing a job again. Even if someone only wants me temporarily. Anyone hiring or have any ideas where I could go?

[Action to those in Castlevania]

[It's not long after her post, Flandre is wandering the halls, sketch book in her hands. She stops to watch anything and anyone who is around, sketching a little in her sketch book. She puts it down for a second to get closer to things, trying to see a detail she couldn't see before.

That or she's following you around quietly, sketching details quietly. She obviously doesn't want to be in the way or stop whatever it is you are doing. Ask what she is up to?]

[ Well, it wasn't long before she notices that someone had been watching. All she was doing was relax with some tea. ]

Ah? Flandre?

[Flandre stops her sketching and puts the book behind her back.]

Yes Remi? Did I disturb you?

[Because oops if she did.]

A little. I was having the feeling I was being watched, and there you are.

Oh..I'm sorry sis...I can stop if that's bad.

[She's not explaning what she was doing but closes the sketch book and put the pencil in a pocket, wings drooping a little.]

I didn't want to bother you.

What have you got there?

[ Did she really think she could hide anything from Remilia? ]

Oh!

[Flandre stiffens for a moment before shaking her head.]

It's nothing sis. Something I'm trying to do although it's not going too well.

Hmm? What could it be that you don't want to show me?

I wanted for it to be a surprise. But I gotta get the drawing right first.

[....Flandre you are bad at hiding things.]

[ She never was good at that... ]

Come now, Flandre...

...Okay. But you gotta keep it a secret for now.

[She re opens the sketchbook and flips to the page where she was sketching out Remilia. She's doing better but there are still some mistakes. There is another page she has marked with a finger, but is waiting just in case.]

I wanna get it right before I start the real thing.

Ah? I like it.

[ Remilia wasn't exactly going to be critical of it. She's rather biased. ]

[A smile.]

Thanks sis...I wanna make the whole thing look right so I wanna practice and be able to have references.

May I see it?

[ She's curious, alright. ]

[She hesitates for a moment before flipping to a page where it looks like it could be a family portrait but there are only rough outlines with letters about the heads.]

I dunno if I'll be able to finish...

Why's that?

[ She's giving it a look over. ]

I dunno if I can remember the right details for some people...or even if people will stay.

[Because even if she keeps saying she's used to people leaving...it still hurts.

There are notes on who should be where..and little questions about trying to ass those who are not there as well.]

[ Remilia had been focusing on her work... but it still hurt.

She'll just hug Flandre now. ]

[Flandre just returns the hug tightly. She hadn't been sleeping well again herself but was trying to find ways to cope. Which was why she was starting to look for a job once more.]

Even then...It's a way to remember. Unless I find something to do...I might just focus on this.

[ Looking for a job, though... she did worry about how well Flandre could handle one. ]

I... do like your art.

[As much as it would bug her to say, Flandre would explain about the odd jobs she kept while on the Thor...and how one was very happy she was polite enough to warn a Game Show about startling her....Or trying to run the house alone.

But there is a happy noise. She didn't show off her art as much as she would have liked before now.]

I think it depends on what you want to do? You mentioned that on a ship you use to do jobs whenever you stopped in a new world, so I guess you could try something you might have never thought to try.

But that's only an idea.

Hmm..True. Although that was easier because they put up what there was available.

[A pause.]

It's true..but I gotta remember to stay out of the sun so a lot of those types of jobs kinda are out.

So a job where staying indoors is the best. Do you have hobbies where a connecting job might work?

[Seemed like a good start at least.]

Drawing and destroying things..but the second one I'm trying to not do as much.

[Because bad. She's learning.]

But I dunno of any that would work with those.

Well artists are a thing that exists and there is construction work where destroying is the purpose of the job, but since you said you are trying to not do that, maybe not the best idea.

But it is good that you are trying to stop at least.

Yeah..I tend to get carried away. But if that helps others..I wouldn't mind too much.

But people get paid to actually draw?

How about you watch what the job is and see if you could do that.

People do yes. People pay a lot of money are art. I don't understand fully why, but they do.

Huh...That could be interesting.. I'll have to see if they will let me!

Hmm..Maybe if that other idea doesn't turn out I can see if people will like me to try?

It never hurts to try with either.

Do you have an idea what kind of job you'd want first?

Not really. I'm up to do a lot of different things. I just have to stay out of the sun.

Other then that, not really picky..although my family might say otherwise.

Sakuya was doing her chores when she noticed she had a little shadow. Flandre might be doing her best to stay out of the way but her presence was not lost on the maid.

She would, however, slow down upon noticing Flandre had her sketchbook out, cleaning Castlevania at a more normal speed and giving the little vampire a chance to sketch her uninhibited...

And after several minutes of this Flandre would find a small drawstring bag of cookies suddenly weighing down her pocket. Even diligent artists need snacks, after all.

If anything, Flandre doesn't notice the slowing. The focus on trying to get the picture right was intense. The sketch seems to be turning out well and she flips to another page to write a few things down before going right back once more.

It takes her a moment to catch on to the weight in her pocket and there is a surprised squeak. Her pencil drops to the ground as she checks and smiles sheepishly.

"Thank you"

Sakuya was smiling. It was a rare look for the maid. Relaxed and somewhat playful. She turned and gave Flandre a small bow, folding her hands over her apron.

"It cannot be easy to sketch and walk Young Miss. Especially with the changing light. 'Tis no trouble should you wish for some of my time. I would happily sit or stand wherever is comfortable."

Flandre smiles back brightly, picking up her pencil to put it away for the moment..

"It is but I don't want to be in the way or cause problems. Besides, this gives me a lot of practice doing this. But if you want to, maybe later?"

If anything, it would help her out even if she didn't mean to get spotted. Even if she really should have known better then to expect not to get caught.

"It is no trouble. Really. As good as the practice is, shifting light causes inconsistencies." Sakuya was busy but she always had time for Flandre. "Whenever you wish it please, call on me. I will come within the moment."

Flandre really would only have to call Sakuya's name to get the maid's attention. The longer they stayed in Castlevania the more attuned to the location's unique and shifting space she became.

It takes a second but that little bit of information to process and the realization crossing the little vampire's face is probably comical. It never occurred to her at all that shadows could be effecting things.

"Oh...I..never thought about that. I did most of my drawings like that."

Flandre didn't deviate much in where she went so that helped a tiny bit. But the smile returns quickly.

"Thank you for letting me know!"

"Of course, young miss." Sakuya bowed once more, flickering, and kneeling to Flandre's level, offering a rather large and fresh cookie on a plate.

"I am happy to be of service. Once you have found a suitable location with appropriate light or atmosphere, please, call on me and I would be happy to be your subject."

The plate would certainly vanish once Flandre was done with the cookie. But, for now, the maid gave a deep bow and simply vanished. Off once more to resume her work.

Those drawings are good though. Where do you find yourself drawing? I need to get back into sketching.

[Libra smiles through the camera.]

As for jobs, I work for a small tea shop, but you'd have to check with the owner to see if there's any openings.

Mostly where ever I can. Back home and on the ship I tended to draw what I remembered,

[Flandre smiles back. She's glad to find someone else who enjoys drawing.]

Hmm..I dunno if people would want a vampire girl serving them. That and my wings would probably knock into everything..but I might see if that will work!

Can get most any job you like in the world, really, so long as you put the time in. No one's picky.

[He doesn't sound especially happy about that.]

What talents have you got?

I would hope I could but I know that some people can be hesitant.

[At least the little vampire is oblivious.]

Well...I can draw really good, am really strong...Uh...

[Yeah..That's all she has.]

[Something beginner-friendly that can be easily taught then. One hand on the phone, the other digs in his pocket to produce the Tribune. Eyes scanning, he alights on something suitable.]

Let's see...ah! The library is hiring, currently. Favorite place of mine, and I'm sure you'd pick it up easily. Wouldn't want that place understaffed, eh?

Oh! I can do that. I helped Patchouli from time to time back at the large house.Wonder if it'll be different then that? It's a good idea!

[She seems excited!]

[She must be infectious, for Ted's excited too. He could use a win, no matter how small.]

Ah, glad you think so! It's nicer than other libraries, for there's no late fees to fret over.

[Since it magically claims overdue books regardless of space. Ted knows from experience.]

So long as you can manage the commute, it may be just the thing.

[Different cities and all, but then Ted would say getting out of Everglade's atmosphere can only be a good thing.]

[Flandre giggles at that.]

Sounds like they have a better idea of where their books are going at any given time.

I don't think that'd be a issue to be honest. I can fly..I just have to avoid the sun. Getting burned from that is never fun to heal from.

Eheh, I doubt it's anything so mindful.

[His chipper expression falters a tad at that. Flandre seemed like a nice girl, and he'd love to think of her as one but for the dark, vampiric elephant in the room. To be denied forever the pleasures of sunlight is, he supposed, one among many prices paid for being unholy.]

I suspect not; should you read a tale about one Icarus you may find sympathy in that trouble. Well, perhaps we'll meet each other therein. Tell me how it fares should you follow through.
