[When the feed starts, the camera seems to be pointed at something that looks like a giant yellow eyeball, with a black slit in the place of a normal pupil. A voice, youthful and female, can be heard.]

Is it on? Did Desco turn it on right?

[The camera pulls back to reveal that it was indeed an eye, but not one on a person's head. The creature, because there is no other way to describe her, that it was attached to seems to have no shortage of eyes. The one the camera had been focused on was actually on chest, with two others below it looking almost like buttons on her scaly purple outfit. A similar eye can be seen on her head tucked between a pair of reddish horns. Her body is mostly like that of a human, and she looks rather petite as well. But the main and obvious difference is the very not human mass of tentacle covered flesh that seems to be attached to her back. If one can manage to actually pay attention to what is behind her, it looks as if she is near a beach. She likely was a fresh arrival.]

Yay, its working!

[For a moment, she flashes a toothy smile, revealing fangs rather then normal teeth.]

Desco isn't sure how she ended up here, but there is only one reason that she can think of that she would be here. To conquer everything!

[She sounds more like a child talking about a new game she wants to play then a real threat.]

So as of this moment, Desco is the official final boss of...ummm....ummmm....

[There's an awkward moment of silence. It seems she should have read that info better before making her exciting declaration.]

...Wherever this is. It doesn't matter anyway. If any fool of a hero dares to try and stand in Desco's way, then Desco will kill them! Kill them until they die from it! Mwa ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Come forth if you think you are strong enough! Oh...but don't waste Desco's time if you aren't a hero, Desco wants an exciting battle with a worthy enemy, not some stupid chump!

But Desco isn't an overlord, Desco is a final boss! If Desco followed the way of an overlord then she would be doing it wrong! Besides, Desco doesn't need comics, she has the final boss textbook daddy gave her. It taught Desco all about the right way to do things. How to give weaklings hope and then snatch it away from them, how to crush dreams, and of course proper genocide techniques. Desco knows all of that!

Those are all well and good, but what about leaving yourself open to a fatal attack? An ultimate weakness? Sealing your heart away in a remote place that the hero must quest to truly defeat you?! You're missing so many points it's ridiculous!

D...Desco was getting to that!

[A frown comes to her youthful face.]

What do you know about being a final boss, anyway? You don't look like one!

Well I was a hero, for a time! Plus I have thousands of hours of research on the subject! I know everything!

W...wow!

[The young demon sounds legitimately impressed.]

You really know everything? All the best final boss things? AND you were a hero? But you're not one anymore. If you were still a hero, then Desco could have an exciting city destroying battle! But Desco only wants to fight against heroes, and maybe foolish creatures that dare stand against her great and mighty power. Did you have any fights to the death while you were a hero? Huh? Huh? Tell Desco about it!

I was a hero for a while when I traded my title with a human but it was a fake. So I got rid of it. I'm the Overlord now, so it doesn't matter.

[For some reason the little demon sounds extremely disappointed at that. Mao had seemed so much stronger then that. He knew final boss things, why wasn't he a final boss himself?]

And you didn't even have any dramatic battles as a hero? Now Desco is sad. Desco thought she could learn a lot!

I know everything about being a hero without being a hero! That makes me a thousand times better than any hero!

But a hero that isn't a hero...isn't a hero! Desco wants to fight against heroes. Its what a final boss does! If Desco can't have amazing battles that destroy large parts of the world, then she doesn't care at all!

I've researched about heroes, more than you! Don't you want my perfect knowledge?!

Desco already knows everything she needs to know about heroes. A hero is supposed to fight the final boss in an all out battle for the fate of the world. All Desco has to do is beat them, and she has super high functionality to do that with! Desco has all sorts of lasers, and even transformations. Transformations are essential for a final boss. No one would be scared of a final boss with only one form!

Well I've beaten a super legendary hero too. It's not that hard.

[He paused, then he grins again.]

Can I see your transformations~?

[And suddenly the mighty final boss feels a little awkward. The way Mao asks about her ability to transform felt more then slightly creepy. Not that everything about him wasn't creepy, but the look she was receiving was extra disturbing!]

H..huh? Desco doesn't transform unless she looks as if she has been defeated so she can bring despair to foolish heroes hearts!

[That and she is somewhat scared of what might happen if she does!]
