[II] [ACTION] Fayren

[After his video presentation and the conversations he's had, Hizashi has made his way over to Fayren in search of Fairy Haven. Still done up in his hero costume, he stands out like a sore thumb, strange cockatoo updo hair, leather outfit and strange device around his neck and all. His hands are currently shoved in his pockets and his expression is mostly hidden behind his glasses, but a slight frown IS settled on his features. It's a lot to take in and this place is well... awfully low tech isn't it?

Also way too woodsy for him. Dislike, firmly. That train of thought gets a shudder out of him briefly.]

Oi, wanna give a guy some directions? [he asks the first stranger he sees, hands popping out of his pockets to shoot some exaggerated finger-guns their way.]

Of course I listened! [to most... of it. It was long ok.] Oooh. INTERESTING, I remember hearing something about multiple worlds. It would make sense. [different worlds merging together into one would mean a whole lot of different rules about quirks or other abilities.]

There. It's called Hangar Queen, we can talk and drink there. Try not to get lost here. You should have a box with you when you woke up, don't forget it.

[WHAT, YES HE DID? WHY IS... Oh, hey wait okay. He can get there! ...you're like a cat, Shouta. It's frustrating.]

I'm not a kid, Shouta, I'll be there! [And he will bring the box. He'd rummaged through it a little already -- money!! is of course appreciated, but mostly at this point he's just looking forward to drinks with his friend. When he gets to Hangar Queen he pushes the door open and scans the bar for Aizawa's familiar form.]

[Cats eats birds. Remember that.

Aizawa arrives after Hizashi, catching glimpse of his back. It feels surreal, there he is, Hizashi, which he thought his friend be only a memory. His hands are shaking in his pockets and his voice feels dry. He takes a moment collecting himself.]

Took your damn time, Hizashi.

[And no, he's not talking about his arrival at Hangar Queen.]

[a cruel reminder.]

Oh? [he wasn't expecting to hear Aizawa's voice behind him so he spins around on one foot, gaze glancing over the rim of his glasses at his friend. He knows Aizawa well enough to catch the stiff posture he's wearing, and momentarily there's a flash of concern.]

Shouta!!! [it all gives way to an excited exclamation of the other teacher's name, and he closes the distance between them to loop one arm around Aizawa's shoulders, pulling him in close for a friendly side hug.]

It didn't take me that long, I got here before you!!! [insert singular fingergun. Something's off, so he's trying doubly hard to smooth it out with obnoxious gesticulating.]

[Yeah, it be obvious to Hizashi. He's one of the very few who knows Shouta all too well. Meanwhile, he is trying to keep his cool.

His body falls numb when Hizashi embraces him from the side. First thing he catches is the familiar scent from him.]

That's not what I meant.

[He can't lie, but Hizashi was always good at smoothing it out. Before he even let's Hizashi reply, Aizawa turns towards him, facing him, and embraces the damn bird with both arms.]

[He almost reels back, his footing having not been in the right positioning since he wasn't predicting a hug like this from Aizawa (in public no less? Does a bar count as public?) He doesn't hesitate in reciprocating though, shifting his arm to loop around Aizawa's waist, his other shifting to pat at his back.

Ah. Yeah. He gets it now. Normally he might make a joke about how this sort of thing was uncharacteristic, but instead he just responds with]

Ah, yeah. Sorry, Shouta. [uncharacteristically affectionate, meet uncharacteristically quiet.]

[Yeah, not his character and he didn't care so much at the moment. A couple more moments before he breaks himself from this fuzzy bonding. He scratch the side of his head. He knows Hizashi was trying to smooth it out, laugh it like a joke, just... no.]

I know. Let's hurry and drink something.

[Before he does anything else out of character.]

You may not know it, but it's been a while. That's how this place works.

[Oh no you don't you started this and Mic's not done. So Aizawa tries to go and pull away, but he's going to find that he still more or less has Mic's arm slung around his shoulders. He's touchy-feely to begin with with people he's close to so.]

Yeah, pretty sure All Might said something about nine months. That's a long time, man. [there's a pause, and he's animated again, reaching into his pants pocket for something. Back to trying to smooth things over] Hey! Drinks are on me, okay? Alright?

[he has redbills! He shoves them over to Aizawa.]

[Dammit, he wanted to keep it short, but whatever. He doesn't argue with the closeness.]

Nine months and eighteen days. [Who's counting? He glances at Mic from the side, indifferently again. He raises one hand refusing the red bills from him.]

Drinks on me. I'll crash at your place later instead, and you can just make me some eggs in the morning.

[The best damn eggs he has missed.]

[You should have KNOWN BETTER, SHOUTA. Who's counting indeed. But then his money (AND AFFECTIONS) are rebuffed, and he looks a little disappointed, until Azawa introduces an alternative method of him making himself useful. His grin splits his face clean in half, it's that big.]

Is that all? You got it, Shouta! Fresh eggs and toast first thing in the morning. [he'll use the redbills for groceries instead. Eggs, milk, bread, coffee too probably. Crashing at his place isn't even addressed, it's just that normal of an offer to be honest. Hopefully whatever place he's got isn't too cramped. They'll make it work.]

What're we drinking then? Oh, yeah! Should we invite All Might later or is this a private date?

[Makes him wonder how this goof can stretch a grin, it's not even a quirk. Meanwhile, he will just guide his buddy to a bar counter, his mouth been dry and in need of a good drink.

Yes, fresh eggs. Something to recover after a possible hangover, if he's the only one with it. Thank God Midnight isn't here, yet, her drink mixes are like alcohol poisoning.

That last question though, he looks up at Mic, returning a mischievous grin.]

Oh, so you want that kind of party.

[you've known him for like, 15 years Aizawa is any of this really a surprise. The retort though, kind of catches Mic off guard. He was going for flustering Aizawa or getting a gruff "shut up" or something. Instead...

He just does his best to hide his surprise with a loud laugh.]

Dates with me are always a party, Shouta. [he does pause in teasing to order a drink, something in a tall glass with lots of ice probably. He'll order something for Shouta too, if he hasn't already.]

[Not yet Mr. He has to give you a hard time at least. He'll let Hizashi order for them. He knows what this guy wants.

That part thought... he quickly responds.]

Shut it. [Are you trying to tell the people here something?]

[He leans in towards Shouta, stupidly close, resting his chin in one hand, and lifting the other to shield his mouth from anyone else eavesdropping.]

Why? Afraid someone's gonna ask me out and whisk me away from your company?

[he's being a shit. Not sorry. He honestly has nowhere else he would rather be right now.]

[Oh. You shit. He just sighs, lifting himself as if he's about to get up and leave.]

Oi HEY! [He's going to grab Shouta's hand and pulls him back down so he's seated.]

Sorry, sorry. Don't go before we've even drunk anything!

[And he plops back down.]

Just remember, I was waiting first so I get first dibs. [He calmly answers, finally. He's not surrendering you to anyone bud.

He raises a hand to order first round of beers.]

I'm sure All Might already said this. This place is like a freakin bad science fiction Twilight Zone movie.

[At first, Hizashi can't find his words. Which uh, is kind of rare. Are they still talking about drinking together or something else? It's all so vague. Dibs on what, Shouta?]

Hahaha, don't worry. I'm here to hang out with you, Shouta. [the subject change though gets a nod.] He was talking to me about it a bit. It's all kinda freaky if you think about it too hard.

[...Yeah, he's not answering that. It's been 9 months okay, 9 months. Give it two weeks, then it's back to normal.

Finally. Beer. He takes a swing before continuing.]

It is. One city dragons are a thing. Another city you stay out late zombies will run you over.

[He waits for that to sink in.]

[He makes it sound like they are two different things.]

[Hizashi lets out a pathetic noise, one that he normally wouldn't have let slip in the company of anyone else.]

Moth... demon? [it's his turn to stand up, his drink forgotten. He slaps his hands down onto Shouta's shoulders, his expression forlorn.]

Shouta. I can't do this. I'm going back to the pods and pretending I never woke up. [wait.]
