Action | Genessia Bay
[Kairi was admittedly a little glad that her training was over and done with. It meant she could now help out a lot more than she could have been able to before, which wasn't an awful lot, to begin with. But what she wasn't glad about was waking up in a whole new world completely and no sign of the others.

With a little sigh, she moved to grab the stuff she had been given and left the Bay, finding herself soon watching the hologram, taking in its words. So she really was in another world?]

I guess if I am here for a while I should maybe explore, see what this world is like and hope there aren't any heartless or something.

[With a small nod of the head she headed off to explore the world.]

[Fayren seemed to be a magical place both figuratively and literally. Kairi had made it to the forest, choosing to explore and see what the place had to offer and it wasn't long before she spotted an animal. She wasn't sure what it was exactly it was as she had never seen such a thing before, but she found herself kneeling down instead of running away and extending her hand out.]

Hello there... You can come out you know, I'm not going to hurt you.

[She put on a reassuring smile to the creature as slowly but surely it started to come out towards her. Anyone who might come across her might either think she is about to be attacked, or she is managing to handle it in her own way.]

[It took Kairi a while before she switched it on, having had a fun adventure in other cities, but now she figured it was best to introduce herself to everyone.]

I assume that this device connects me to others with the same device, correct?

[Because that made logical sense really.]

My name is Kairi. It is nice to meet you all. I've explored some of the cities here and it seems like a peaceful place... [She paused if for a moment.] But is that always the case?

Yep. I had another friend here for awhile to train with too. And while we thankfully don't have a problem with Heartless around here, I have had a few chances to get some real fighting in too.

That's good at least, not having an issue with Heartless, I mean.

Though what have you had to deal with instead?

Yeah. And most recently it was snow monsters a couple months ago. That one was kind of fun actually, even if it kept a good many of the combat capable people in the cities busy for a few days..

Snow monsters? That probably sounds more fun to you than me. But I guess it seems like you will deal with anything here it seems.

Yeah. I'm a Deputy Guardian around here, so helping protect the city is kinda my job. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the parts of it where I get to put my skills to use.

[For that read: showing off.]

And it doesn't mean I'm not glad to see you either. Always nice to have more friends around.

Deputy Guardian, huh? Important job. But that must mean I need to see your skills in action and see how different they are from what I know.

[She did generally want to see.]

But then it also means I must train more while here and improve my skills too.

I'll be glad to help out on both fronts. There's a training center here in Genessia for the basics, or if you want to do something more elaborate, we can go to Holodecked in Nova City. There you can bring up all kinds of scenarios for training, or just to have fun with.

I can start with the training center then, start basic here and work my way up to the Holodeck...

Though you mentioned it can bring up scenarios... What do you mean by that exactly?

I mean it can generate different environments and scenarios to work through using holograms and things. It's really useful for training and just for fun.

Do you use it just for fun then?

Sometimes. But if I want to train in a specific environment that I can't always get here, or against a particular kind of opponent that might not be available, it's great for that too. Plus if you ever really want to cut loose, you don't actually have to worry about hurting holographic opponents, which is always a plus.

Well, I know that I don't cut loose as you put it.

So I don't have to worry about hurting anyone for any kind of training. But hey, it seems to be a good idea to practice with it so I can adapt o fighting other opponents and not just the ones I was expecting.

I hope we'll be able to practice together soon.

Heh, well you haven't been at the fighting thing for as long as I have, so we'll see. Who knows, there could be a wild little fireball inside you somewhere just waiting to get out.

But yeah, looking forward to practicing with you too. Gotta find out what I missed, after all!

[She nodded slightly.]

But for now, I guess I'll just have to get myself settled.

[Lea nods back.]
