Bond 20 [Action] Welcome to the World (or Class) of Pokemon!

[Before Class]

Today's the day! Professor Sycamore announced the class a few weeks ago through the network and right now in Attleton University's lecture hall, he prepared everything for his first Pokemon class of the year. If anyone arrives early, they will see him set up not only his Pokedex and some slides on the table but also some Poke Balls that contain his Pokemon including his very own Garchomp as well some healing and Pokemon care items that he saved up from the last Pokemon phenomenon.

In any case, he has a feeling that some interested people are going to attend today's class.

[After Class]

The Pokemon Introduction Class has been dismissed! Talk about a really interesting class (or bad depending on your viewpoint)! Sycamore's Garchomp and Furfrou will wave goodbye to the attendants while the Pokemon Professor is packing up before he can go home. If you like to ask some more questions about Pokemon or some tips on taking care of your Pokemon, now's the time to ask.

If you stuck around or just being late for class, Professor Sycamore is now having a lecture on the basics of Pokemon and occupations such as a Pokemon trainer and more. He would also show his Greninja, Venusaur, and even his Garchomp to the class to help them know more about these wonderful creatures.

However, you can try to raise your hand to try asking a question. Or just being a troll and ask some dumb ones. Whatever floats your boat.

[For The most part, Anastasia's Pokemon were behaving themselves. Most of them taking naps in the corner, though Ribombee was flying around passing out pollen snacks.

Her Primarina was at Ana's desk, resting its head on the table. She raises her hand.]

Professor Sycamore? My Primarina hasn't been singing as much. When she does, her voice sounds weaker, maybe? Is it a bad sign?

[From what he gathered so far, Primarina's singing is somehow one of their main weapons in any Pokemon battles. But he never knows what happens when they can't even singing more often.]

Strange, let me take a look at her for a second.

[Sycamore then approached the Soloist Pokemon and attempts to check her throat for any signs of problems. Regardless if he finds it or not, he backs away and looks at Primarina.]

Primarina, can you sing a few notes?

Before Class

Vaggie took a long time to slowly move her way from Fayren to Attleton. She knew that with her injuries that it would take her more time to make her way over, so she decided to come early.

As she enters the class, her eye looks over at the various items that were on display with quiet disregard. The class will start when it does and she will take in the information readily. In the meantime she decides that she will pass the time by browsing through some fliers for classes she has no intention of actually intending.

It wasn't long when Sycamore notices her presence he turned around and approached her. "Oh, Vaggie. Welcome to my class."

He wasn't surprised at her appearance since she talked to him through a video chat before. However, he was surprised at how many fliers in her hand.

"Oh, are you planning to take those classes after this?"

"Maybe." She lied, flipping the next side over. To the side of her chair a small pile of unwanted fliers heaped on her left side on the floor. "This looks like a pretty interesting class on roller derby. I might consider that if somebody is I knew was there."

A mischievous glimmer shined in her eyes. She really wasn't interested in that as well, but the idea of this guy doing it was enough to give her a chuckle.

"That... is an interesting class. Though I don't have time to check them out. But I might if I get a day off." Yeah, Sycamore is a busy professor, but he does like to try out some new things if his research doesn't take his time than he usually has.

"I have a battle demonstration a little later, so if you like, you can meet with my Pokemon over there until everyone else arrives."

He points to his left where his Garchomp, Greninja, and Venusaur are roaming around waiting for the class to start.

Her attention drifted quickly from the fliers to the Pokemon. Huh. What weird creatures. They would almost be right at home in hell were it not for the fact that they seemed so... pure? Or rather, they didn't seem interested in causing harm, rather patiently waiting and taking a moment to almost seem to converse with one another.

"That them?" She asked a question that she already knew the answer to. "...huh... they're more normal than I expected."

Her eye returned to Sycamore. "Do they like fighting? Right now they seem alright with just doing their own thing. It seems a little irresponsible."

Normal? This made him wonder what kind of world Vaggie came from. Then again, his world was like any other world except with superpowered creatures living there.

"Yes. But my Venusaur and Greninja seem to like fighting than my Garchomp. Besides, she often helps me out with my research. Though, she can be very protective of me and the others."

[chikapolilla]

"So its more like lucha libre than cock fighting...?" She wasn't sure how she felt if the monsters were being forced, but if they wanted and liked it, that would be fine.

"Though I'm sure there are people that take advantage of them..."

[megabond]

"Lucha libre? Cockfighting?" Sycamore repeated, confused at the terms she said.

However, he frowned at Vaggie's last sentence. "I agree. Back in my world, there are several groups who tried to steal Pokemon not only from their protected habitats but also from other trainers. One of those groups is Team Rocket."



He then looks at his Garchomp who is still resting with the other Pokemon. "They are a group of thieves who tried to steal my Garchomp and my research several times."

Now it was her turn to repeat a term she was unsure of, "Team Rocket?" What did they do, plan on stealing the moon?

"But that's human nature for you. You get a chance to push your desires on somebody else, and there's bound to be a group that will do just that. Pisses me off, but what are you gonna do?"

"They are a group of two people with a talking Meowth who go around stealing Pokemon. Thankfully, it looks like they aren't in Genessia for now."

She was right. People will be tempted by any kind of dark desires, especially with the powerful abilities that the Pokemon possesses. "For now, I have to be careful when I go around with my Pokemon. If Team Rocket or any other bad people from my world arrives, I have to take extra caution when I let out my Pokemon out to the field."

"And how do you know I'm not one of those people?" She muttered, low and dark.

"Hypothetically, of course. You did just open up a class and invited any that was interested."

Before Class

The events from before were exhausting, but having so much emotional support around her helps keep her mind off the mentally taxing monster attack.

Intending to keep to her plans, Anastasia comes to attend Sycamore's class. It never hurts to have a refresher and hopefully learn new things. She waits outside the classroom for the lessons to begin with most of her Pokemon, Glaceon, Sylveon, Mismagius, Primarina and Ribombee. The only absent one is Nidoking.

Any other students coming to attend class, watch out for Sylveon who will try to boop their nose, or Mismagius who will attempt to prank them with a fake door.

Vaggie was being asocial again, and seems content to just sit on the side not doing anything. As she was poking the fliers, the corner of her eye catches the movement of Anastasia's Pokemon moving around. Hm... a dog-thing, a seal, a bee...

...wait... What Pokemon was that? The purple one with the floating ghost-like shape...



No sooner did she think that, however, did she suddenly felt a boop on her nose. which causes Vaggie to fall out of her chair in a clattered heap. "The HELL was that?"

That commotion caught Anastasia's attention, and the attention of all her present Pokémon. The falling Vaggie did startle Sylveon, making it hurry back to Anastasia's side.

Anastasia glanced between Vaggie and Sylveon, noting the reactions and putting the pieces together, then approached Vaggie to help her back up.

"Did my Sylveon surprise you? I'm terribly sorry. She gets excited and curious in new places. Fairy-types, you know?"

Should Anastasia's Helping Hand be accepted, it may be noticed her skin is unusually cold.

Vaggie accepted the hand, and did notice the coldness. Where she's from, that wasn't that unusual... but she would keep it in mind if there was a reason to bring it up. For right now, though, she was more put out than cautious.

"No I don't know..." She grumbled, her other hand rubbing her back. "That's the point. I was supposed to come here to learn about these things, not nearly get my neck broken in half."

With a huff, she then looked over herself and dusted herself off a little. She was irritated, but it wasn't really this girl's fault, either.

Anastasia was only trying to be humorous in a rhetorical way, but it seems she's still not good at telling jokes after, what, four years? Sensing she's only causing more rifts, Anastasia steps back and calls for Sylveon.

"Sylvia, come say you're sorry."

The Entertwining Pokemon approached low and slow. When it was close enough, it looked up at Vaggie with its best smile, moving its ribbon-like feelers to form a heart over its head.


"Vieon, vie~"

"Charming." She said flatly. Though she couldn't be too angry. This was an animal, right?

"Just try... be more careful, alright?" She says to Sylvia, though its clear she meant Anastasia as well.

"So, what's this about fairies? She's a fairy?"

She'll try. She has her tricks for her Fairies.

"Yes. But not in the literal folkloric sense. At least, I don't think so. There are dozens of Pokemon types, but I'll leave that one to Professor Sycamore.

Fairy-types are usually friendly. Sylvia comes from the same evolution family as Gracia over there, who is an Ice-type."

Her Glaceon perks up and looks at Anastasia when it heard its name.

"Primarina and Titania, over there, are both Fairy-types as well."

On hearing its name, the Ribombee flutters over assuming its trainer called for it.

"Well... they definitely have the cute thing going for them." She imagine that a certain spider demon would find their ridiculous looks charming. Still, there were a couple of terms that the girl said that piqued her curiosity. Evolution? Types? While she wasn't going to bombard this one with questions, she inwardly thanks her for a few terms that she should be on the lookout for.

Her shoulders begin to arch the more people were starting to come in on her. Sure, they were animals, but Vaggie was never really one for attention. Were it not for one thing she'd probably excuse herself.

"Is that one a fairy too?" She asks, pointing to the Mismagius that caught her attention not too long ago.

"Which one?"

Anastasia followed where Vaggie pointed. Oh, the Mismagius. The Pokémon took notice and gently tipped the hat-like fluff on its head with a ragged robe-like hand in greeting.

"Oh, that's Phantasma, my Mismagius. She's a Ghost-type."

It would figure that would be the one that would grab Vaggie's attention.

"A ghost? So she's dead?"

"Theoretically, yes. I don't know what she was originally... Except for a Misdreavus, which is also a Ghost-type. But as a Ghost-type, Mismagius can do everything a ghost is said to be capable of. Invisibility, intangibility, possession. You name it."

Ten Divines know Mismagius did the latter on Anastasia once or twice in the past.
