Newspaper - Saturday Edition
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. There might be a raging sandstorm outside in Genessia proper, but that doesn't seem to do more than tip him over now and again. He just gets right back up and starts flinging papers. What a trooper! Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. But didn't someone kill him last week...? The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

Who's Coming to Town?
Rumors of a mysterious visitor coming to town have begun to spread. The jingle of bells can sometimes be heard at night, if one listens closely, and mysterious brown piles have begun appearing on rooftops. Scientists have identified these masses as 'reindeer droppings' and have assured us that these droppings do not, in fact, taste of candy. Sounds like somebody's going to be dropping in, so brush up on those baking skills and leave out some milk and cookies!

Vale Robbery
Earlier this week, a teenage girl from the Archway of Vale was kidnapped and placed in a gruesome death trap, which was televised to the populace of Genessia at large. Though the girl was saved just in the nick of time by her teammates, a woman in an armored suit, and some other guy, Vale still suffered a big loss as several of its Dust shops were sacked and robbed by outside forces. The identity of these thieves remains unknown.
New City Guardians Step Up
Reception for the new city guardian of Genessia, Captain Hammer, and a new applicant for the city of Fayren, have been received with a generally positive response from the citizens within. Captain Hammer was instated earlier this week, and the mysterious texting person applying for Fayren's guardian position will be approved on December 26th if there are no competing applicants.
New Year Kegger
With the new year on the horizon, Captain Hammer has agreed to host a formal ball to be held on the night of December 31st. The affair is going to be formal, so all who attend will be required to wear their very best. The Captain has promised there will be food, dancing, and spirits for those who are of legal drinking age. Though that probably won't stop someone from spiking the punch, because that's the sort of cliche the holidays bring about, isn't it? ISN'T IT?
