✞ third bite; action
GENESSIA GENERAL HOSPITAL
[ For the past few months, Adrian has worked at the hospital as a nurse and thanks to being only half vampire with an immunity to sunlight, he has been able to cover both day and night shifts. There have been a number of people admitted as of late and while he always ensures to take care with each patient that he is met with (much as his mother would), it's the children he spends a little extra time with, gently dressing a scraped knee with a colourful little bandaid after it's been properly cleaned. ]
There. That wasn't so bad, was it?
[ He smiles, allowing for a fleeting pat to the child's head to be given before he stands from his crouched position and makes his rounds through the halls. He often checks on patients in various rooms waiting for the doctor, or else is near the entrance of the hospital itself, sometimes glancing over various clipboards or moving to greet whoever happens to make their way inside; sometimes people simply want to know where the pharmacy is after all. What is it that's brought you to the hospital on this day? ]
Is there something I can help you with?
CASTLEVANIA and EVERGLADE
[ Throughout Everglade, one might catch a glimpse of a white wolf (though not looking that angry) walking, or sometimes even darting about the city. At times it seems to be watching those wandering by from a distance, seated yet with eyes so intense and familiar to any who know Adrian Tepes. There are no growls nor hostility that comes from the wolf. Rather, distance is kept, be it within the shadows of the city itself or atop a hill. But the wolf is simply always watching. Perhaps even looking for something.
Castlevania, however, sees Adrian rather than the white wolf. Though, much as when he was in his wolf form, he keeps his distance from the looming castle which sits atop the cliff, not approaching it nor meaning to from the looks of it. But he's there, watching much as he had been doing throughout Everglade as a wolf, coming only as close as the drawbridge and while he does little to hide his presence this time, he is not exactly out in the open either. ]
THE DRUNKEN MONKEY, FAYREN
[ Bars and taverns are by no means Adrian's sort of thing. However, he's found himself within this establishment after having made his way to the magical village that is Fayren, stopping in for a quick look around or perhaps trying to locate a familiar face who has a penchant for these types of establishments. But it's with approaching whoever might be seated at the bar, that he comes to ask: ]
Where might one find the inn for this place?

Castlevania(ish)
The past month, Adrian might have noticed his brutish companion disappearing every so often. He doesn't say where he's going, and if he does he just says something about getting trashed. Funny how he hasn't been coming back smelling like anything other than dirt and sweat. That's because he's decided to stake out the damned moving castle. If Adrian wasn't going to do anything about it, he could sure as hell keep an eye on the place.
He started quietly sneaking around, keeping close to the darkness and close to the trees to keep himself hidden. He didn't even notice the "wolf" nearby as he took off running past him to get to another dark area. ]
How can a damned castle look so peaceful and so menacing at the same time I'll never know.

So imagine his not surprise when he spots the hunter within Everglade, skulking around in the shadows... and heading right for Castlevania itself. How typical, Trevor Belmont.
He's been following him within the shadows himself, keeping his distance but a relatively close eye on him at the same time. He can't help but wonder what it is that Trevor wishes to accomplish with coming here like this and without backup for that matter; surely he knows they work stronger as a team as opposed to own their own. So he follows him right up until the hunter seems to come to pause in his movements and he does the same, pausing for just a moment before he comes out of the thick bush himself and takes a seat nearby. Staring at the Belmont. Not amused. ]

Trevor makes a sound and moves his hand in a shooing motion. ]
Look, fido. You're not going to get much of a meal out of me. Get lost.
no subject
It's with a bit of a grunt that the wolf then moves from his spot and approaches the Belmont with those golden eyes just staring at him. He stops, however, just a little ways from the hunter and, with still staring at him, a paw pats at the earth beneath him... and then swats a good chunk of it right in the hunter's direction. Namely at his face. Yes. ]
no subject
He turned his head around the corner just to see if he noticed anything suspicious happening. It seemed like a normal peaceful night, well peaceful enough for this place anyway. He lets out a tiny huff when he hears more movement from the wolf. Didn't he just tell it to get lost?!
He turned his head just in time to get smacked in the face with something hard and dirt-y.
What the...]
You sonofa-- I ought to cook you up right now!
[ Wait a second... ]
Alucard?
no subject
Remind me again how you became so good at what you do.
[ Dryly stated, he comes to approach Trevor more fully and stands alongside him then, eyes drifting off to the castle atop the cliff. ]
I told you to leave this be, Belmont.
no subject
He makes a face at Alucard as he tries to wipe his face clean, because SOMEONE IS IMMATURE only to smear dirt on his face a little more. ]
A man can't go out on a nightly stroll through the neighborhood anymore?
no subject
[ Can you tell he's not pleased with you, Trevor? Perhaps it's the look the dhampir gives that might make it a bit more clear. ]
One world that had been teetering on the brink of facing genocide is enough. This world doesn't need that.
no subject
I wasn't even doing anything. It was quiet and I thought I'd check the area out.
[ Do you believe him, Alucard? No? That's probably for the best. ]
no subject
I may have slept for a year, but I wasn't born yesterday.
[ It's with brushing past the hunter with a rather rough shove against his shoulder with his own that he continues, ]
Stay away from here. I don't wish to have to kill my father twice.
no subject
[ He was only coming to stake out the place to make sure Dracula wasn't sacrificing women or starting some kind of plague or something, but now that Alucard is here telling him to stop it just makes him want to push his buttons more.
Yes. Yes he is five]
no subject
[ And the way in which he says that so casually... but he's teasing. Of course. But he comes to stop and glances over his shoulder then, that look of being so not amused with the hunter still written all over his face. ]
Are you coming then?

Castlevania
Some of the bats in the area are in fact Remilia's, keeping an eye out for anything or anyone that might be trouble. Such as the boogiemen that chased Flandre around - seeing Adrian show up was... unexpected. In any case, it wasn't long before Remilia shows up. ]
Planning a visit?
no subject
One would need to be certain they are welcome for that, wouldn't they?
no subject
Were it my say, you would be welcome here. I'm sure Flandre and the others would feel the same.
[ Basically, quit being a jerk, dad. ]
no subject
Comforting to know, thank you. How has he been?
[ A pause, he looks more directly to her. ]
How have you been?
no subject
Quiet and brooding... but no sign of changing. As for myself... I learned that being Guardian is much harder than it looks, especially</> when a crisis erupts. [ There's a tired smile. ]
no subject
The usual then.
[ For his father at least. Curiously, though, he tilts his head some as he looks to her. ]
I heard of the incidents that happened here and in Fayren. I worried they might be the doing of my father at first but I found they weren't.
no subject
[ It was nice to vent a little about it. ]
Nice of this person to say it was them... even if it was anonymous. That and this targeted Flandre, someone who can get along with father.
no subject
[ That troubles Adrian some and it shows in the way he glances off to the side in thought. ]
Is Flandre alright then?
no subject
[ There's a cold anger in Remilia rising at the thought of what Flandre was put through... One that may be uncomfortably familiar. She too, can hold a grudge. ]
no subject
[ He knows it doesn't mean much but Adrian is not one who takes delight in the suffering of others. ]
Is there anything you need?
no subject
You... might have noticed she doesn't have wings like mine. There's a reason for that.

So, sometime after closing up shop and telling Anya that he'd be late, Alucard will notice that he's being followed. Not by a person, but by a bat - a very large bat, solid white.
You've got a tail, white wolf. What do you plan to do about it?]
no subject
Curious, though, the wolf comes to dart atop a hill and stands there, tail swishing behind him as he looks, as he waits, wishing to see if this curious white bat might come out into the open with him. ]
