✞ third bite; action
GENESSIA GENERAL HOSPITAL
[ For the past few months, Adrian has worked at the hospital as a nurse and thanks to being only half vampire with an immunity to sunlight, he has been able to cover both day and night shifts. There have been a number of people admitted as of late and while he always ensures to take care with each patient that he is met with (much as his mother would), it's the children he spends a little extra time with, gently dressing a scraped knee with a colourful little bandaid after it's been properly cleaned. ]
There. That wasn't so bad, was it?
[ He smiles, allowing for a fleeting pat to the child's head to be given before he stands from his crouched position and makes his rounds through the halls. He often checks on patients in various rooms waiting for the doctor, or else is near the entrance of the hospital itself, sometimes glancing over various clipboards or moving to greet whoever happens to make their way inside; sometimes people simply want to know where the pharmacy is after all. What is it that's brought you to the hospital on this day? ]
Is there something I can help you with?
CASTLEVANIA and EVERGLADE
[ Throughout Everglade, one might catch a glimpse of a white wolf (though not looking that angry) walking, or sometimes even darting about the city. At times it seems to be watching those wandering by from a distance, seated yet with eyes so intense and familiar to any who know Adrian Tepes. There are no growls nor hostility that comes from the wolf. Rather, distance is kept, be it within the shadows of the city itself or atop a hill. But the wolf is simply always watching. Perhaps even looking for something.
Castlevania, however, sees Adrian rather than the white wolf. Though, much as when he was in his wolf form, he keeps his distance from the looming castle which sits atop the cliff, not approaching it nor meaning to from the looks of it. But he's there, watching much as he had been doing throughout Everglade as a wolf, coming only as close as the drawbridge and while he does little to hide his presence this time, he is not exactly out in the open either. ]
THE DRUNKEN MONKEY, FAYREN
[ Bars and taverns are by no means Adrian's sort of thing. However, he's found himself within this establishment after having made his way to the magical village that is Fayren, stopping in for a quick look around or perhaps trying to locate a familiar face who has a penchant for these types of establishments. But it's with approaching whoever might be seated at the bar, that he comes to ask: ]
Where might one find the inn for this place?

You... might have noticed she doesn't have wings like mine. There's a reason for that.
no subject
What reason is that?
cw: for... well, violent stuff
This is something I tell few about, and only to those I trust enough.
They were... removed. A she had a run in with a particularly cruel band of hunters using silver. Had I not been able to save her, I'm afraid I would have come to hate humanity as much as father does.
Since she survived, Flandre was able to dissuade me.
no subject
I'm sorry.
[ He offers those words sincerely, lips frowning for a moment before his gaze lifts to meet hers. ]
Were you able to exact revenge on those who did such a thing?
[ An offer he extended to his father in which he would even help him make those suffer who killed his mother. But, unfortunately, his father was too far gone in his hatred for even that. ]
no subject
Yes. I made those responsible suffer greatly.
[ That, to Remilia, would had been a much more reasonable course of action. ]
no subject
Should I see her about, I'll keep an eye on her in some manner.
[ Be it as he is now or in his wolf form at a distance. ]
no subject
Thank you. I can't simply hide her away like I used to... or be around as much as I would prefer.
no subject
[ He assumes it's part of, if not the sole reason for such a thing. ]
There are matters you need to attend to, places you need to be, people to see. I imagine it must be a lot especially when things of this nature unexpectedly happen.
[ These incidents in Everglade and Fayren, he means. ]
no subject
[ She's thought about quitting once or twice, but... well, that would be a surrender. ]
...At least this time some idiot wasn't starting fires across Everglade...
no subject
[ At least from the sounds of the incidents which had occurred, they had been no easy task in handling for those affected. ]
no subject
[ It was... still kind of a bad look since of course, vigilantism is frowned upon by most people. Especially if there's deaths. ]
no subject
[ There might be only the touch of a smile at the corner of his lips, though he comes to nod once more before his attention returns back to the castle looming in the distance. ]
Let's hope things don't get any worse from here on out.
[ Wishful thinking perhaps but maybe it might do some good in saying it. ]
no subject
[ She'd rather avoid any more such incidents. Now she knows how Reimu must feel and why she's so grumpy all the time. ]
At the least, I shall be ready.
no subject
[ He nods, wondering just what else he could have possibly missed prior to his arrival here. ]
If you need anything, I will do what I can to help.
no subject
I'll keep that in mind... but I'll be around if you need me too.
no subject
[ In the meantime, he means to keep a particular Belmont away from the castle lest he start something and anger his father or the other inhabitants. ]
Don't work yourself too hard, alright?
no subject
I'll try not to.
