[The Doctor's tone is injured, his expression wounded--though the effect is somewhat ruined by the fact that he has a streak of something bright purple and slightly shimmery going across his nose. The infamous and much-maligned coat is nowhere to be seen.]

It's hardly a monstrosity, for heaven's sake. It might not be to everyone's taste, I suppose, but it's got flair.
