action | genessia
[Her arrival was common: Waking in the strange pod, stepping into shallow water, acquiring printed pamphlets along with a holographic presentation... Fayet folds the papers into origami cranes, which rest in her palm for only a brief moment. Which a breath, they take off flying as if they were real birds.
She hums in amusement at her own magical ability. For now, these first few hours, she'll take it easy. Fayet heads off down the streets of Genessia, with no shoes on her feet and her long lilac hair trailing behind her.]
Interesting... You there. [The young woman points, addressing a stranger with friendly authority in her voice,] How long have you been held captive in this "Genessia?"

Salutations. Genessia, correct? That's how I should greet the general public here? But then, how should I greet our supposed captors? Hm.
How about "thank you?" Thank you, Genessia. For creating an indestructible cage, with lives from so many other worlds-- No, other unvierses. Other omniverses, I'm sure! This is the most excellent place for me to begin. Yes, thank you for this cage and all of these people.
But I'd like to take over now. To all of you comfortable in Genessia: I'll be here now, keeping you content and satisfied. To those of you wishing to leave... Why? Why would you leave this entertaining experiment? Is there an effort in place to leave this place at all? Has any progress been made? Do let me know... I'd like to crush it as soon as possible, and stay with you all. Forever.

[Gale's in the video reclined in his desk chair, arms folded behind his head and legs crossed upon the desk. He looks as bored and discontent as can be.]
We ain't here to be guinea pigs for you, so I'd recommend cuttin' the crap and just accept your containment here like the rest of us, sweetheart.

One, yes, there are active efforts underway. Some of us are actually needed, in our worlds. Others would be quite happy to stay here, myself among them. But make no mistake, we're not looking for a ruler of any kind. We have a sort of democracy among ourselves to elect people to defend us against threats inside and outside this gilded cage, and enough gods, demigods, superbeings, and just plain old fashioned mad scientists here to drive Azathoth sane.
So, tell me. What exactly do you bring to the table that's new and unexpected? Let the monologue begin!

He figures that it's best to try to find out a little more about her. Although she's made it obvious that she's absolutely bad news, it doesn't mean he won't benefit from more information. He's not going to do it with any method that might show his face or real emotions though, so texting is how it's going to have to be.]
So you'll be taking over? What happens if the captors don't agree with this decision?

People have tried, and it's about as effective as being trapped in a bubble 10,000 kilometers under the ocean. Even if you break through the barriers, it doesn't mean you're getting anywhere, just letting the darkness in.

Bold claims. In honesty, I doubt you have the ability to follow up on those ambitions of yours. Declaring yourself a ruler and actually being one are two very different things, I think you'll find.

I'll regard you as a friend and ally if your intentions are true, however, even if formal diplomacy cannot be conducted.
I am Princess Anastasia of the Kingdom of Nivia. Who might you be, and why do you insist on establishing yourself as Mother to all?

[His reaction's certainly not the indignant crusader, as though he's sort of used to this kind of thing.]
Worse things than a benevolent overlord, though, and easier to deal with, I'll say that, might even be a bit refreshing after all the shadows and mystery.
