[Mavis claps her hands and looks very serious and proud in her... pirate girl outfit..] One of the eggs I found finally hatched. And it is...

[She turns the camera to show her left shoulder and reveals... a colorful and mischievous looking parakeet.] Say something to our audience, Captain Featherly.

[The bird stays perfectly silent. Mavis sighs and as soon as the camera is off the parakeet, Mavis' voice can be heard again.] Why do I bother? It's not like I actually care about what any of you thinks anyway. I'm just bored because Zeref is busy with his stupid lizard. [Mavis frowns and blushes. Though, obviously, since she's on screen and her lips are NOT moving, it's not really her who said the last three sentences.

Mavis pinches the bridge of her nose, massaging it.] I should have named you 'Captain Annoying'. Or tied a scarf around your beak to gag you. Or both.

It's a lame pun... but, then again, that's to be expected from someone who's not sure they recognize a talented artist when they see one. Sheesh!

{ The obnoxiously loud singing would have been perfectly audible even without the video, given that they live in the same building. 'Stupid lizard' indeed; it wouldn't have been so bad if the singing was actually pleasant, but no, it's off-key, the lyrics are sometimes wrong, and the decibel level was enough to hurt even Zeref's ears at times. Thank the Gods none of the Dragon Slayers were here. If their ears were as sensitive as their noses, they'd have gone deaf by now.

I'm sorry, Mavis. { Zeref says, as soon as there's a lull in the lizard's song. It's hat and bowtie could be seen in the corner of the video, and one looked closely enough, they could swear that the lizard was smirking. } I'm running out of ways to convince it to keep it down.

[Mavis looks sweetly, both at her fiancé and at the beardie.] Well he sure won't be singing at our wedding party but... he looks cute with his little hat.
