Not one to over-react when strange things befall him, Loki makes his way from the pod and up the ramp to the city proper, giving a look around at the architecture before a brief shimmer of energy changes his otherworldly clothes to an all-black business suit, complete with black shirt and tie. He makes his way across the street, seemingly familiar with the vehicular traffic, and takes a seat on a bench. When Weiss' holographic broadcast begins, he listens, watching the transmission and obviously noting the information she provides. He turns his attention to the items he found with him when he awoke and glares at the hologram again when it starts up.
He waves a hand and a brief shimmer of energy encloses the hologram and its pedestal. The animation continues, but no sound can be heard. "That's better."
He reads over the contents, tucking the red bills into the inside pocket of his newly conjured business coat, and raises an eyebrow at the documentation therein.
"Get a job? Don't be ridiculous."

[Ridiculous as he may see this place at insisting he become gainfully employed, it only takes one visit to his provided lodging to decide something needs to be done, and unlike his brother, his idea of escape isn't simply 'hit it until something opens'.]
As loathe as I am to admit it, the well-established nature of this place suggests to me I should follow recommendations and...seek employment. So.
[A sigh.]
Who's hiring?

Well, its not really any of my business. [She can't even try to hide the judging. But fine, she'll be helpful...]
Lots of places have jobs. Most of them are shit, but it depends on what you're good at and looking for. I'm sure there's some local businesses that will only have you paper push and only clean the toilets once or twice a week.
Audio
[But that hardly seems to matter here.]
I'm certain I'm more qualified than the cleaning of latrines.

So unless you're the god of entitled shits, you're going to have to be a little more specific of what your skill set is.

[It was meant as an insult. Loki didn't have much faith she'd follow it. Of course, he doesn't have much faith in the intelligence of anyone else.]
I am Loki, God of Mischief. My skills are wide and varied. To sample, I may well be standing behind you now, and if I choose, you would never know.

[Listen to his tone. Doesn't he sound excited?]
For what exactly?
[Audio]
[Audio]
Marketing for clothing.
[He'd only have to do it until he'd secured enough money to move, then he could find something better. That...would be anything.]
I've never done anything of the sort, but I'm a quick enough study.

Now then, the one thing she wanted to know is if this Loki could remember her, though it was little more than acquaintance.
[Action]
"I've done nothing to it." With a nonchalant wave of his hand, the sound returned at Weiss repeated her message. Again. Then he waved his hand a third time and it was muted once more. "I simply surrounded it with a shield we can't hear through."
He turns a page in his collection of papers. "Can I help you?"
Re: [Action]
She's familiar with the stories, but is quite aware of the differences.
[Action]
"Is there a reason I should?"

I'll be honest, I've never been gainfully employed before. My favorite pastimes include practicing my magic, theater, reading, and music, though I also enjoy exploration and adventure. I also prefer keeping busy as I'm easily bored.

I work with Torchwood too.
Re: [Audio]
Ah, and you don't have to shout to do it.
[Audio]
[Excitable? Energetic? Overwhelming?]
...like that. Torchwood isn't so bad. I don't know what you are, but they're fine with non-humans. Most places here are, but that seems to be a specialty of theirs.
