( arrival, action )
GENESSIA CITY (a)
[ Stumbling his way down the streets is a small lavender-haired boy who looks like he's been a little roughed up in a fight or at the very least like he fell off a cliff. With scratches on his face and his clothes torn here and there, he rubs at his cheek with the back of his hand and squints some as he tries to make sense of his surroundings since coming out of that weird pod he woke up in. He... doesn't recognize any of this. ]
How'd I even get here? Where's Goten and Piccolo?
[ He comes to a stop at an intersection and stares rather blankly at the various streets and shops, all which look so unfamiliar to him. He can't sense Goten or Piccolo, not even Gohan and it has the small half-Saiyan wander his way across the street... totally ignoring the red light and the car coming for him that he just steps over the hood of like it's no big deal... making the driver have to swerve out of sheer WHAT IS A CHILD DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD AND ON MY CAR???
Trunks, unbothered by this, crosses to the other side of the street and holds at his stomach as he continues down the street; someone's feeling real hungry with that rumbling going on there. ]
I'm so hungry... I need food.
[ And so, when he's not wobbling his way down the streets, he'll make his way into whatever fast food joint, café, restaurant, WHATEVER and go up to the first table he sees with some food on it... and start eating it. Even if it's yours. Sorry, not gonna stop him from stuffing his face. ]
GENESSIA CITY (b)
[ It's a bird. It's a plane. No, it's a small boy flying through the sky over Genessia City. He seems to be looking for something or someone as he swoops down every now and then and flies right up to various people on the streets - maybe even you - looking close and hard at each and every face that he comes up to. ]
Nope. Don't know you. Or you. Or you.
[ He gives a sigh as he goes from person to person, seeming more and more disappointed with every one he flies right up to, totally ignoring any gawking or WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING from them.
Tapping down, he seems a bit defeated and frustrated before he just curls small hands into fists and shouts out to the sky. ]
What's going on?! I don't know anyone here!
[ You'll have to forgive the dramatics but he's a kid and has no idea what's going on. ]

Hey, hey. It'll be okay.
[She leans down and gives him the biggest smile she can.] Did you get separated from your family? Why don't we try to find them together?
My name is Yuelia. What's yours?
no subject
I don't even know if my mom is here. My dad, he...
[ He looks a little frustrated then before he shakes his head. No way, he's not letting THOSE thoughts get to him. This isn't any time to cry. ]
Do you know why I'm here? How'd I even get here?!
no subject
[A part of her wants to tell him a lie to calm him down, but the truth was that she had no idea herself. With a defeated sigh, she tried her best to smile her assurances.]
...I really have no idea. This is certainly not Castele, that's for sure. I don't even think this is Reveria.

[Since when did mortal children fly??]
[Their usual composure is shaken for a moment. A wave rustles through the light tendrils that make their wings.] Ah...greetings. Are you all right?
no subject
Does it look like I am?
[ A snappy remark, fists tighten a bit, the boy CLEARLY frustrated. ]
I don't know why I'm here! I don't know anyone here! I can't be here right now! I have to stop someone from destroying my home!

[Itherael's somewhat fresh too, and hasn't had to explain the Genessia Situation before. Well, here goes. Human(ish) children are good at listening, right?]
Allow me to explain. You have been brought to a new universe by forces not yet entirely understood. Many of the denizens in the city, and the adjacent realms, were also brought her from across the expanse of time and space. I am told this is temporary - people come and go seemingly at random, and supposedly return to the original place from whence they were taken.
There is more information in the papers given to you upon arrival, as well as currency. Did you not receive these papers?

[Recognize that voice at all kid? Maybe not yet, but maybe his features will remind you of someone. 17 is there who happened to pass by.]

I wasn't screaming at the top of my lungs!
[ Boy he sure is an angry little guy right now. Almost like he's channeling his parents! ]
I'm not even supposed to be here... wherever this is!
no subject
[Like father, he knows.]
It's a world that abducts people from other worlds. You're stuck here until it gets bored with you.

Ah...? You're very familiar-wait. Are you Trunks?
no subject
Yeah... do I know you or something?
A
[She sat up straight when she realized a kid had walked right up to her. And started reaching for the other half of her sandwich. Brows narrowing, she was ready to offer a stern (but still somewhat gentle) reprimand...when she caught sight of his face.]
[All traces of minor annoyance were washed away in the wave of wide-eyed surprise that took over.]
...T...runks?
no subject
Gulping down what he's shoved into his mouth, he comes to wipe that mouth with the back of his arm before he looks to her. ]
Uh... maybe? Who are you?
no subject
[So...]
[There were two immediate thoughts running through her mind. Two possibilities. Either these were some city-related shenanigans turning the Trunks she knew into a child...or this was the young Trunks she'd briefly met in the past. Only younger.]
Mai.
[She paused, waiting for any reaction of familiarity to the name.]
I'm...uh...it's kind of a long story.

B
Eeeek!
[She pauses.]
Wait...you look like the other guy I talked to. Are you related?
no subject
Uh... what other guy?
[ That sounds kinda weird? ]
Who are you?
no subject
Um...the other guy...he was taller, and he had purple hair just like yours. I think he said his name was Trunks...
[It was kind of hard to forget a name like that.]
I'm Liora. I'm a dragon from Sornieth.

B!

Uh... huh?
[ Please hold while his brain tries to understand this. ]
How do you know my name? Who are you?
no subject
Oh no! Is that a side effect??? Okay! [Giant X with her arms and hands.] Scrap that, I don't want to try it after all.
Are you okay? Dumb question, but humor me.

When she spots him, she looks confused. Largely because she can still sense the ki of her alternate future older brother. Were it not for that, she would have assumed something had de-aged Trunks, but they're both here.
Congratulations, spirits. Just when she thought she was getting the hang of all the bizarre things that can take place in a multiversal nexus, she's confronted with her older brother as a kid.]
Trunks?
no subject
Long and hard.
She... kinda looks... LIKE MOM??? But just, you know, YOUNGER... and flying, too. Somehow. Huh??? ]
Uh... do I know you?
no subject
[No point in being subtle. She bears a striking resemblance to their mom, to the point that when she arrived here, a few people wondered if their mom had been de-aged somehow.]
Goku's here.
[So is his alternate timeline older self, but she's trying not to overload him just yet.]

Huh? [Goku looks over and around the food piled in front of him, though it doesn't take long for him to notice the food thief.] Hey, that's-- Wait, Trunks?
no subject
Huh?
[ Confused and mouth full, he looks up in surprise at seeing Goku and, with the excitement at seeing Goten's father, he tosses the bowl of rice away and hops his way up, practically beaming. ]
Goku! You're here!
