NEWSPAPER - BIWEEKLY EDITION
[Did you subscribe to The Genessia Tribune? Did you even remotely wish you had a newspaper or some other form of media to refer to for news, weather, and current events? Then you're in luck! There's a paperboy riding through the streets of Genessia flinging newspapers onto doorsteps or, if you're unlucky, through your window. Even remote locations in the other cities will still get a paper if one of the residents ever wanted one. The Paperboy is just that dedicated.]

New Programs from New Mayor
Genessia's first pendant-bearing mayor, Roland Crane, has introduced new government programs to benefit the disabled and poor. When asked about his motivations, the mayor had this to say: "A society is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable members. I felt that Genessia was lacking in this area, and I was able to bring the Council around to my point of view." Once these programs come into effect, heads of households making [*] or less per member may sign up for welfare and other programs for the poor. Mayor Crane was vague about his future plans, but said "With any luck, this is just the beginning of the changes I have in mind."

Vet Doctor Dead and Exposed
Last Friday at exactly 9:23 AM, a jogger reported a dead body of Castley Neils, a well-known veterinarian in Attleton. But after his corpse was found, several photos were found nearby, revealing he was abusing the owners' pets along with other animals in his care.
Coroners reported that he died of a bullet shot through his heart, but they also said there are no signs of a bullet in the scene, which is coincidently similar to the previous murders of Randy Nye and Jarod Waldroup.
We will report more as the story develops.
Haunted Eatings
Torchwood Haunted House & Eatings, a subsidiary of Torchwood 2.0, (what happened to 1.0? This reporter has yet to uncover that dark truth), has been known to be a meddley, meddlesome meddler in all things Everglade. Always interfering, always touching what they shouldn't. Their latest hire, however, really takes the cake. Or perhaps we should say...the spaghetti? Papyrus, who by all appearances looks to be an aesthetic match to the city's grim decor, has plied his bony hand to their multitudinous trades, and the results may surprise you.
Food, something so basic and yet so controversial within the city's misty boundaries, is his mission, and he takes to it with a smile. An unending smile. Is it born from the glibness of a successful, malevolent trickster? The satisfaction of a sinful devil? Or, most horrifying of all, could it in fact be actual happiness? I'll let the reviews from his sordid stall speak for themselves.

Now we know better; they've blazed that eldritch trail, and Papyrus is its pioneer.

Recount! - An anonymous tip indicated that someone is planning to tamper with the voting booths to fix the upcoming guardian election to ensure their favorite gets voted into office. A level 3 payment is being offered to anyone who's willing to guard the voting terminals from now to the election to ensure the votes are fair.
Nova City
Armed Robberies - A disgraced scientist is now a MAD scientist after having her research rejected for pushing the laws of nature too far. She has been injecting innocent people with a serum that makes them grow two extra arms, forcing them to commit robberies for her in exchange for the cure. A level 4 payment is being offered to anyone that stops her.
Everglade
Holy Glycerin, Batman! - A church's supply of holy water was surreptitiously replaced with nitro glycerin, resulting in the deaths of multiple monster hunters and one young priest. A level 4 payment is being offered for the capture of the culprit responsible.
Fayren
Ghostly Outpout - Three ships of settlers departed for a newly discovered island three months ago. In the past two weeks, communications from the settler's outpost have suddenly gone silent, and a trader who went to the island said that the settlement seems to have been completely abandoned. A level 3 payment is being offered for information leading to the safe return of the settlers.
Attleton
Lewd Graffiti - Someone has been spray painting crude images of dicks and boobs on the walls of the public schools. A threat of instituting a curfew has driven a desperate party-loving student to offer a level 1 payment to stop the culprit to preserve his right to stay out until midnight.
Windgate Creek
Masked Bandit at Large - A stagecoach was plundered by the newly-minted criminal Barty the Butcher, who murdered the driver and horses, kidnapped a young woman who was riding as a passenger, and stole the shipment of medicinal supplies. A level 5 payment to anyone that can bring him in dead or alive, rescue the passenger, and return the medice to the town doc.

Unlogged Bounty Summary: (IDR if 47 needs a bounty log because it's been so long since he's done one, please let me know if so.) 47 will use his assassin skills to find and infiltrate the scientist's secret lab, grab a supply of the cure and its formula, and anonymously leave them in front of a government building (guardian's office, police station, etc). And if he grabs some chemicals and formulas for his own purposes on top of that, well... who's going to stop him?
Additional Information: 47 isn't exactly "taking" the bounty, as he's just helping the mutated people and not actually bringing the scientist in, and he also doesn't have a Nova City Bounty Hunting license. So someone else is welcome to take the actual "bring the scientist in" part of the bounty and get paid! Also, whether or not anyone actually stops the scientist, I'm open to a possible revenge plot (from the scientist or possible allies/collaborators/etc, depending) if they can actually figure out who's behind the theft.

Unlogged Bounty Summary: Hawks tracks down Barty the Butcher with relative ease, and captures him alive. He knocks him out with his feathers to achieve this. The young passenger is found in rough shape, but alive. And Hawks able to fly both the young woman and the medicine back to the doc.
