[Alice learned from watching the others, as Sophie screwed up the video, and has checked out the network enough to see it's not exactly uncommon to screw up at first. This weird technology might be unfamiliar to her, but she can learn by observation, and so when she sends out a video message herself, she's very calm, having figured it out.]

Good afternoon. My name is Alice Kozakura, and I have arrived here with my friends Sophie Summerhelm, Marie Cooper, and Aran Voliere. However, we are still missing some of our companions- Lulu, Celadon, and Valencia. It, ah... Well, their surnames are not necessarily relevant. They will be quite easy to identify, even without them. I am given to understand that searching for your separated companions by means of this device is the norm here.

Also, I am told that we must seek employment here. However, I am a doctor at home, skilled in the treatment of wounds and ills. I find it doubtful that those here would trust a physician they have no knowledge of their training or skills, and so I must ask instead. Need I obtain a license of some sort? Else, what may I do to continue my duties here?

Of course. I’ll try to explain what we know, but go ahead and ask any questions that I miss.

To start, though, we don’t know a whole lot. Everyone with one of these pendants, [She lifts her own into the camera’s view,] is from another world. These pendants allow us to travel between large Archways, which lead to different cities. There’s Fayren, Attleton, Everglades, and Nova to live in right now. And, well... this one. Genessia City!

I can't even begin to imagine it! It's similar to something like thought-casting or dream-reading, but instead of an outsider intruding, it's the thought itself being projected to everyone who can read it! So I wouldn't even know where to start.

I have been learning much of this place, and little makes sense. I have, at least, obtained several leads with which I may follow up on investigating, most of which seem safe, but I believe we will still have our hands full.

[Alice is used to having to watch people. She can generally pick up on people's emotions, so when she watches him, she's a bit concerned as to how she could have prompted that kind of reaction from him. Still, he seems to be trying to be kind, so she doesn't need to pry.

Truthfully, it is quite overwhelming. I understand little and less of this place, and the more I learn, the less I can grasp. The white-haired woman's illusion, these strange devices, this entire city... It is as though I have been placed into a realm of incomprehensible nonsense.

But it is bearable with my friends here.

I think so long as you have the experience they'll let you work there. But I believe you get different payment compared to if you had a diploma to be a doctor.

I can let you know you get around 4000 red bills a month for doing the job. It's also what I got when I worked at the hospital, but I did a different job, but it seemed to be the same amount of payment.

[She was considering going back in order to learn the medical side of things more beyond reading books. She was going to classes from time to time but nothing full time which she knows she should.]

Not sure if that can support yourself and your friends, but it is still quite a lot of money. But I am happy to give more details, but what details exactly do you need?

That 'Papyrus', ah... [what does she call him. help.] fellow, spoke of tools I've not heard of, and spoke of them as though they were common knowledge. My knowledge is mostly of herbalism, and how to set bones and treat wounds. I know what plants may be used to treat disease, and how to stop festering.

Would this still be acceptable as treatment here?
