Dear residents of Everglade,
I hope this morning finds you well. A friend suggested to me the other day that I don't have to live on my own. It does get quite lonesome in my oversized apartment all by myself, so I think that I would like to find a roommate!
My name is Ivy Wakefield. My age is complicated and a bit strange, but I think it would be all right to put me somewhere in my teens. I'm very neat, require precious little to get by, and don't even require so much as a bedroom; I won't get in anyone's way, but I would rather like to have other people around day to day who I can chat with and befriend. If you have any vacancies, and if I sound like a good fit, please send me a letter in reply. I'm even willing to move to a different city, should the opportunity require it!

I agree that it wouldn't be appropriate for us to live together... certainly not when we're hardly more than strangers. It already looks like you have plenty of people who are happy to help you find someplace to live. But if it turns out that none of them would be right for you, I'd be happy to let you stay with me and my friends at the apartment we share!

I don't actually have anything useful to contribute though since our apartment is small and stifling. Also is that how you spell it? Apartment? I have been spelling it apart meant this entire time and nobody told me otherwise.
How is the Everglade though? I have been considering visiting or maybe moving there with my bride. I hear that it rains blood there and also that it might have alligators and bears? Tell me if that is accurate.

I've gathered that the way people write letters here is a little different than what I'm used to, but I think in the end I'd rather just stick to being polite. Not that I'd expect a demon lord to know anything about that!

It's a very old fashioned way of writing letters, but over text and I a sure there are others who still do it here too. But don't worry, you'll either get use to it or just prefer writing texts in this way. Just gotta make it work for you.
