Hey my little lavender~ So I might have managed to get some stuff from the new café in town, so guess what that means?

[He holds up what looks like a cake box.]

Pudding! Call it a treat from me~

[But the message didn't get through. That was odd...]

[After a while of looking around, Zelos found himself outside the archway to Nanae Island. He'd explored there as well, but there was no sign of Nanana, yet.

She couldn't have left as well, could she?

He took a seat, cake box sitting to one side.]

Sooo… anyone seen Nanana around, recently? Cute hunny, purple hair, blue eyes, obsessed with pudding and treasure?

She totally just stood me up!

[Yup, definitely pouting right now.]

[ Lucy rested a chin on her hand. Hnnn... Nanana - yeah she thought she remembered that girl. ]

Is she not answering the communicator? I think.. she must have left this place, I'm sorry.

I guess if they don't reply to you or as you put it...Stood you up. it could mean one of many things. She's gone home, she might have been kidnapped, or something like that.

My assumption however would be the first one.

[Kairi had been wondering where she had gone herself as there was pudding that had been left uneaten and that was worrisome.]

Ah, so you knew her as well. Now you said this, I'm starting to think she went home.

[Luke tilts his head at the stranger]

Is your friend lost, mister?

She's left, huh? Wow, that kinda sucks.

[His tone came across with a practiced carelessness, but deep down...it hurt. She'd died back in her world, too. Was there even anything for her to go back to?]

Kinda don't think she's the easiest hunny to kidnap.

[Considering she could go through people, anyway.

Still, he tried to reply in as unfazed a tone as possible. It hurt, deep down, but that was not something he was prepared to show. Did Nanana really have anything to go home to?]

...So guess she must have gone home, huh?

You too, huh? Yeah, does seem like she's just up and disappeared.

[He was trying his best not to sound upset, and for the most part, he was pulling it off.]

...Yeah, looks like she's totally gone and dumped me!

[He pouted, trying to hide his actual hurt through melodramatic whining.

Why her, of all people? ]

Yeah. We were about to go out on a romantic date and everything, and she totally ditched me!

[Nope, no melodramatic sulking here...except yes, yes there was.

It was easier to be melodramatic than show he was actually upset.]

I'm sorry!

[Luke is frowning, because he can imagine being stood up is disappointing.]

She's all right, though? Maybe she's gotten sick, or maybe she got lost, or maybe stuck at work...

[Who was this kid?]

Yeah, you never know, right?

[So he puts on his best faked smile.]

[He couldn't help but be a little sad for him.]

I'm sorry that you lost someone you cared about.

Ah, well, happens all the time here, right?

[He put on his best faked smile.]

...I don't suppose you like deserts, cutie? I'm not going to able to manage all this on my own.

Yeah. She was a good friend and I let her borrow my fridge. But if she's gone. [She pauses slightly. She didn't know what to do with the puddings any more and she seemed generally upset by losing a friend.]

I guess we at least have something in common.

I'm sorry to hear that.

[He wasn't sure however how to deal with such a situation since it's one he;s never really been involved in before.]

Would you like to talk about it?

I-I guess, but um... [He had to admit he had someone he knew go away from here, but that was even more sad because he knew that that person would never go back home due to not being alive any more.]

Ne-Never mind. [He paused slightly. He wasn't exactly sure how to answer the next part.]

Ar-Are you asking me to take some desert?

[Luke tilts his head. He's not buying the fake smile. Besides, he had been asking if she was all right, not saying she was.]

You don't think so.

[He knew Nanana was dead, back home, but given that she was a ghost he wasn't sure what would happen to her. The idea of disappearing from Genessia and vanishing into oblivion did not bother Zelos too much, but Nanana...deserved better than that.]

Well it's kinda dull sitting here all on my own, and I'd hate to see all these treats go to waste. I was just wondering if you wanted to come join me for a little while~

[He gave Chihiro a friendly wink. Trust Zelos to try and hide his own pain through relentless flirting.]

I guess so, huh... I'd just gone to grab some puddings for her, buuuut guess she won't need them now.

[He was glad, in some ways, that she was showing the sadness for both of them. Nanana deserved that much, but Zelos never wanted to reveal his true feelings.]

The name's Zelos, by the way. Zelos Wilder.

But seriously, what am I going to do with all these sweets?

[It was the first time Zelos really had to deal with something like this here, too. But still, he gave a lighthearted chuckle. It was too easy to fake this sometimes.]

[A light shiver ran down the back of his spine. He had to brush this off quickly - No way was this kid reading him that easily.

Maybe selling them might help? It gives you some money back, but also saving them to eat another time also would help you.

[He gave a small and faked smile. He wasn't sure if that chuckle was genuine or faked like most of his own actions would be.]

Hm... I suppose I could save them until another sweet-toothed hunny comes by. After all, seems such a waste not to share them, right?

[Zelos couldn't read whether that smile was real or fake either.

Perhaps they were as bad as each other at showing their genuine feelings, but right now the redhead had no way of telling that for certain.]

[Chihiro couldn't help but go into his normal nervousness due to the obvious flirting and him feeling really awkward about it for reasons. Obvious reasons.]

I-I would like to, but I have some work I need to be doing. [yeah. that was it.]
