It's October.
Halloween is this month. It's a popular spooky holiday where folk tend to wear costumes and/or inspire fear.

Usually, something weird will happen.
This could involve physical and/or mental transformations. There could also be attacks from random supernatural entities.

I've personally experienced 3 Halloween related transformations.

If you plan on going to a costume party, I suggest picking something you won't mind becoming.

What weird thing do you think will happen this month?

This is my first Halloween here. I've heard that things get pretty crazy, but I didn't think about the costumes being important.

The Halloween before I arrived, people turned into their costumes. There's a possibility of it happening again.

So keeping it simple is the way to go.

I know someone who turned into a ghost. I don't know if he was wearing a costume like that or not.

It depends on which October that occurred.
If it was last year or the year before, then a costume had nothing to do with it.

So there's no real way to win, huh?

Guess we'll just have to be prepared for whatever.

The best thing I could think of is to try to find a way to enjoy what you become.
Meditation helped me with adjusting to a new body.

The weird thing could be a monster attack instead.

It's never a dull day in Genessia. I don't know what's going to happen and I can't really predict it. i guess the best we can do is just be prepared.

Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day seem to be the most likely times for this type of phenomena.

Ahahaha, goodness, sensei, I'd nearly forgotten about that. It's a thousand pities I wasn't enrolled at the time; not every day one has a chance to spar with a bear, or at least one docile enough.

I'd hope for something innocuous, but I suppose we're both aware of how stimulating Genessia likes to be. Would you like me to stop by The Rabbit's Foot to thwart a few supernatural specters, just in case?
