Pink is for Happy, Yellow is for Nerdy [Closed]
Who: Raven & Koishi.
Where: On a random rooftop of Genessia, probably not far from the library.
What: An half-demon meets... a youkai girl.
When: September 16th around sunset.
Warnings: None that I can think of (unexpected hugs? XD) but I will update if needed.
Raven had found what seemed to be the perfect spot for her daily meditation session. A quiet deserted rooftop. From this location, she could see almost all Genessia and yet it was unlikely anyone would notice her there. Or so she thought, at least. Also it reminded her of the top of the Titans' tower in Jump City.
As the sun started to set, she sat down cross-legged. A few seconds later, she was levitating in that same posture a few feet above the ground. Her lips barely moved as she kept repeating her mantra under her breath.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos... Azarath Metrion Zinthos..."

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos... Azarath Metrion Zinthos..."

"Hello? Miss?" She stepped forward, trying to suppress her obfuscating cloak. "Miss? Can you see me? Or hear me? Those are strange words. We don't have to speak strangely here. Why are you saying them?"
no subject
"Yes. I can see you. And I hear you loud and clear... unfortunately for me."
Raven glared up at Koishi while massaging her now sore backside.
"Well... I was meditating. And I was not expecting to have an audience."
Although she's trying to suppress her frustration and how annoyed she feels, it can still be heard in her voice.

"Sometimes unexpected things are the most fun. Otherwise life would get boring and stale. So please don't be so crinkly and powdery. That's not a good thing."
She reached out and grasped Raven's hand, squeezing it and shaking vigorously. "It's very nice to meet you miss. My name is Koishi Komeiji! I'm a satori youkai! I can't read minds anymore but its always really fun to meet another psychic!"

"For Azar's sake... What are you?"
Raven wasn't scared just... completely at a loss to what to think or do about that girl. She couldn't sense anything about her, no magic, no emotion, nothing. It was as if she truly wasn't there. And yet, she was there.
Raven didn't have much time to ponder about that before Koishi grabbed her hand forcefully and started shaking it. As soon as she could gather her bearings, Raven pulled her hand away and glared at the girl again.
"First I'm not crinkly..." Yeah, right. "And I like my life just the way it is. So thanks for your concern... Koishi. But now if you don't mind..."
Wait... What?
"How do you know about my abilities?"
And what exactly was a satori youkai? Raven knew she should have just gotten back to her feet and flown away. But as often her curiosity got the better of her.
Oh god the icon blinks!
Koishi didn't mind when Raven pulled her hand away, her smile unwavering. She had very little concept of personal space, moving closer, her third eye drifting up, bobbing and swaying a little bit.
"I can see it." She tilted her head. "The presence of your mind is dark and expansive. Its colors are different but you are psychic. That's how I know." She could feel Koishi's mental absence settling gently on her mind.
"And yes you are crinkly. You're very crinkly and crunchy. You shouldn't do that or else you'll get all the bad wrinkles early and your hair will start looking like the devil maid's."

That bobbing and swaying third eye made Raven a bit nervous, though. Not that she would admit it. And it kinda prevented her from relaxing completely. What Koishi said next did nothing to help. ...At least at first it did not. And then she started finding the other girl's presence next to her... pleasant. Soothing, even.
"Dark is an understatement. That's why you should stop probing it. My mind is not a safe place to explore. Even for another... demon."
Raven was trying to sound cold and deter Koishi for keeping 'scrutinizing' her mind. Or whatever it was she was doing. But when she spoke, her voice was unusually soft.
She even chuckled a bit at Koishi's next remarks. "Azar forbids. I kinda like my hair the way it is."

"And I can't stop. My head doesn't turn off and neither does my eye. But don't worry about me. My mind is upside down and inside out and scattered every which way and hidden away in the quiet. I can't even find it myself! You wont be able to hurt me. Even by accident." The presence on her mind didn't lift at all.
"Your mind is very pretty. But I can't see whats inside. Only the things people don't look at directly. Only the subconscious." The artery over her left shoulder twisted around, the looped heart becoming more defined.
"I like your hair too. It's purple. But its a darker purple than the big purple thing I saw. He's psychic too."
no subject
"I won't?" Raven didn't sound completely convinced but she sounded kinda relieved at the same time. If it was true, well at least there was that. Also that soothing feeling was still there. It was almost as pleasant as meditation itself.
The big purple thing. "You mean the Pokemon?"
Touhou has fairly concrete definitions between demons, devils, and youkai. x3
"I don't like eating humans though. They don't taste very good. I prefer fish. If Miss Darkness wants to share, though, I'm not going to picky."
She brightened a bit as Raven's tone shifted. "Nope! My head is blank and inside out and all opposite. Psychic and mental and empathetic powers cannot touch me." The aura became more positive, though it remained calming.
She paused, tilting her head. "Pokemon...?" A frown. "I think it said something about a pokemon..."
Nothing wrong with that ;)
Miss Redwings, Miss Purple Moon, Miss Darkness... Either Koishi knew some peculiar people or... "Those girls... are they truly called that or is it you giving them weird names?"
The aura felt nice. Really nice. It almost made Raven want to smile for some unknown reason, so she refrained from it. "Well at least there's that... I mean, good for you." She would have preferred if Koishi had been able to turn off her own abilities but the youkai already said she couldn't do that, so.
"That would be because that's what he is. Just like you're a youkai."
I just say "fairly" because there not actually defined on paper. there are just obvious trends.
She blinked. "Nooo Miss I told you. I can't remember names anymore so I give them names that I'll remember. My head is all over the place, swirled around, and tied with bow." She reached up to remove her hat, pulling her bangs back to reveal a severe looking scar above her left temple. It was about the size of a penny and was slightly depressed into her head as if she were missing a bit of skull. "Now my mind and eye are on opposite sides." She put her hat back on.
"I try to make sense. But sometimes I can't. But that's okay. I'm much better than I used to be." Her third eye drifted up, swaying a bit. "I always mean something though. What's the point of talking if it's only nonsense?"
The aura was unchanged, for the most part. It seemed to be reflecting her good mood, though. "I really like you Miss."
