I have a question for the people of this place: How do you view vampires?

[Action; Locked to Maka, Kid, Soul (maybe Spirit if he knocks)]

[It has been a couple days, but the apartment has served his purposes fairly well. The big black wolf that followed Maka home one night always finds the darkest parts of the apartment to lounge during the day, and is always absent at night. He makes no mess, doesn't even shed. One of the most low-maintenance animals out there, really.]

[Action at night]

[Tonight, Dracula is exploring the satellite cities in turn, alternating between bats, wolf, and his more human forms. He is constantly surprised by what lies beyond each gate. It's almost as if walking through time and space itself. Still, he will be exploring all of it.]

Blood-sucking parasites. But everyone already knows that, right?

And what of those that are turned against their will, and go out of their way to seclude themselves, feeding only on animals to prevent the curse from spreading?

[Voice]

I'd pity them, maybe.

But we all know it'll never last. They were made for one thing and one thing only, feeders. Animals can never sustain them in a long run.

[Voice]

You might be surprised. I know of at least one vampire who has managed to survive for hundreds of years without once feeding on a human, in fact, that particular one has often allied himself with humanity, and that farce of a church.

[Voice]

Surprising, maybe.

But that's just one. And I'm sure you could imagine the struggle in that little bugger.

He's actually fairly quick to defend the humans. I simply cannot understand why, either. He is the son of a Vampire Lord, and a normal human woman. When it was discovered that his mother dared to consider the Vampire was anything other than some mindless beast, they burnt her at the stake for witchcraft.

And yet he sides with them. The very ones who damned his mother to a slow and agonizing death are the same that he helps.
