Greetings people of Genessia and its surrounding cities. I am Milla Maxwell. I have just awoken to this strange and unfamiliar world and seek a means to leave it so that I might return to my duties back home. But before I can do that, it seems I must make a living here; I am prepared to offer my services.

I have experience as a mercenary. In particular I am rather proficient at hunting monsters, of which I've heard there are many lurking around the woods of Everglade. Aside from that, I'll gather items from places too treacherous for others to travel to, locate missing persons, make deliveries, or other tasks of such a nature - for a fee, of course.

I am an ally to you, Genessia, and I hope you in turn trust me.

For now I've chosen to settle in temporary lodging. However, I suppose I may need somewhere more permanent to stay. The apartments here remind me of some homes I've seen before, and I have to admit I don't feel very at home there.

[She ponders.] I find myself thinking back to my shrine in Nia Khera. Is this what it means to be homesick?

That sounds like it to me. The place I've got here is pretty close, but it's not quite the same.

Yes. It does indeed 'suck.' [Milla obviously doesn't employ the word "suck" in such a fashion. Or much at all, really.]
