WHO: Sun and Blake
WHEN: 9/30
WHERE: Various places.
WHAT: Going out on a date!
WARNINGS: None so far. Will update if there are any.

Now that Sun was all dressed up in his outfit, he was ready to go. But not before checking himself one final time in the mirror to make sure everything was straight. It felt weird being somewhat dressy. This was more so Neptune’s thing than his own. If he was here, Sun was certain it would have been him dragging Sun out to get some nice looking clothes.

But he hadn’t seen the guy in nearly a year at this point. The same for the rest of his team, which bummed Sun out a lot. But, he had a date with Blake tonight, and this was the high point of his time here. He smoothed his jacket out and then left his apartment and went right next door to knock on Team RWBY’s apartment door.

The butterflies in his stomach just wouldn't settle down. But he tried to remember what Yang said about being his normal self.

"Be cool, Sun. Just be cool."

"Well nothing is off limits. Pick out whatever you want." He already had his selection made, though he continued to look over the menu with her.

"Anything that you don't try now, you can always get next time." A not so subtle hint that he would like to bring her back here again. Unless she decided she would rather enjoy this place without a monkey tailed Faunus with her.

"Then, I'll for sure try that." She said rather happily and leaned back against the cushion of the booth.

Hearing that, she gave a small blush with a smile and glanced back over to him. "Is that a a subtle way of saying we're going on another date?" She asked, slightly teasing but always still light heart.

"Perhaps." He responded and closed his menu. It really wasn't subtle at all, though. Sun was completely aware of that fact.

"I think even you have to agree that this place is worth another visit." The hostess comes back over to get their orders and Sun gives her his.

Letting Sun order for them, she gave a smile of thanks to the hostess as she arrived and left. At least all seemed to be going well. The fiasco with the dog could be long gone and just a distant memory, thank God.

Making herself comfortable, Blake tugged slightly on her hair and gave a roll of her shoulders to pull off the little bolero that was covering her shoulders. It left her a bit more exposed with her dress but also showed off a bit of her necklace and neckline.

Folding the fabric, and feeling much better in the summer heat [even at night] she set it on her lap while mulling over his words. "That's true. There are still a lot of things I'd love to try but I'd hate to get fat over it." She teased.

"But, I would like to come here again with you, whenever you're not busy."

“I can squeeze in the time just for you.” Sun’s job could keep his busy at times, but that was only because he let it. He could always refuse to take jobs, but it rarely ever happened. And with his spending habits and the length of time that he had been doing the work, Sun had quite a bit of money saved up. So he could afford to miss some work for little outings like this with her.

Sun dug into his pocket and took out his Scroll. He thought a picture of them here together might be a good way of remembering this moment. So he moves a bit closer to her and leans in against her so they can both be in the bitch. He holds the Scroll out with the camera facing them.

“Smile for the camera, Blake.”

Everything he was doing for her sincerely touched her. He was being a gentleman, a good friend and a sweet companion. She didn't think she could feel that kind of happiness, the kind only read about in stories. "You want to take a picture of this?" She asked with a small laugh before her hand went up to touch the back of his that was on his scroll.

With a small smirk, she hovered her finger over his for a moment.

"Hey-" She called out to him in hopes to get his attention. When he looked her way she leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his lips then touched the scroll that made him take the picture with a small smile on her lips all the while.

After the click that she heard, she leaned back just a bit shyly. "Think that will be a good picture?"

Sun wasn’t sure what he expected when she called for his attention, but he was definitely surprised when she planted that kiss upon his lips. His eye grew wide momentarily and a tinge of redness came to his cheeks, but he didn’t pull away or anything. He barely was about to hear the sound of his scroll snapping the picture because he was so focused on the kiss.

When she pulled away, there was a big smile on his lips. “I have no idea. At least not on my end.” He brought the scroll in and turned it so they could both see the screen and he brought the picture up so they could both see it. And sure enough, it caught that look of surprise on Sun’s face. He laughed a little, but smiled all the same. “You can tell I was not expecting that at all.”

Grateful he wasn't mad at such a bold move, she scooted a little closer to him so she could see the image as he brought it up on on his scroll.

There it was though, a surprised looking and blushing Sun that made her hide a small laugh behind her hand. "You certainly do look shocked." She teased, glancing up at him happily.

"You're still blushing just a bit." Raising her hand, she brushed the back of her finger across his rather warm cheek. "Would you mind sending me a copy of it?"

It was kind of hard not be to shocked at something like that. He was trying to calm himself down a little, as his heart had started beating a little faster.

“Yeah. I can do that.” He brought his finger to his Scroll and went to work, sending a copy of the image over to Blake’s own Scroll. He was going to make sure he saved multiple copies of this image. He was going to send a cute picture of him and Blake to Yang’s Scroll and Weiss but..he wasn’t sure that she would be okay with sending this picture to them. He could just imagine the amount of teasing she would have to endure.

Her cat ears still perked curiously at him and she could only imagine how high his tail might of raised if they weren't sitting and she had pulled the same sort of stunt. Nevertheless it was adorable.

She heard the beep of her scroll and took out the device to make sure she had it error free and there it was. She couldn't help but give another small laugh behind her hand at how shocked he looked in the picture.

"You're always so cool and determined that it's hard to think you can blush like that." She teased and glanced back up at him. "Sorry it was a sudden thing. I really did want to somehow convey a thanks for everything you've done for myself and my team."

“I think getting kissed by a cute girl like you could make anyone blush, no matter how calm or cool they are.” He’s sure Neptune would disagree, but he knew there had to be some sort of situation out there that could make even his friend blush.

“But it’s fine, really. Of all things to be surprised by, that wasn’t a bad one.” He takes his Scroll and tucks it back into his pocket. He hoped that wasn't going to be the only kiss that he managed to get out of her tonight.

Giving a small laugh, she set her scroll back in her little handbag and set it off to the side with her wrap she used to cover her now-bare shoulders. "Yet someone like you should be used to such things." She teased playfully. Given how ridiculously attractive he was, he had to of made all the Faunus girls (and some human girls) charmed at Beacon.

"I'm glad it wasn't bad though. I also wanted to see if you would indeed make a noise but- not yet." She said with a small smirk. "Guess I'll have to try again at some point."

“You can try all you like, but I am going to be on my guard now.” He said as he flashed her a smile. But now that he knew she might attempt it, he himself might attempt to try to make her purr. He would count it as a victory tonight if he could manage to get it out of her.

“But no, it wasn’t bad at all. It felt really good, actually.” Brief, but still really good.

"Ah, I see. So not the challenge is to also catch you off guard." Her tone was rather playful but she was indeed up for the challenge. Anything she threw at him she knew she'd receive since he wanted to make her purr, after all.

Nodding, she glanced down with a small smile and blush that streaked across her face. "Just as long as it felt good." She stole a glance back up at him. "That at least means you'll let me do it again, should the moment present itself."

"But,that smile, I hope that means you're so far enjoying yourself tonight."

“Of course. I’ve been enjoying myself since..” He looks like he is giving it some thought. “Since you opened the door to your apartment.” And that was true. Every moment with Blake had been an absolute joy so far. And the kiss only made things get even better. And it was likely that there were more kisses coming so..yeah. He was having a pretty great time right now.

“I was more so worried that you weren’t going to have a good time.”

"Since that early?" She asked playfully. Truth be told she had been worried how she might of dressed. She wasn't a princess like Weiss nor did she have Yang's sense of fashion and could hardly pull off some of the cute things Ruby could of worn.

"I was rather nervous when you knocked. I didn't know if I had dressed properly."

Glancing back up at him, she gave a small smile. "I'm having a great time. Dog and all. You've really helped me transition to this world and I don't know how I could ever thank you."

That dog thing was always going to be hilarious to him. To Sun, she didn’t need to have any of that for him to like her. Blake was Blake, he wouldn’t like her more if she was anyone else.

“Well I heard from Weiss that you were going to get dressed up. She insisted that I do the same.” Insisted meaning basically forced him to go and do it. She made him pick out his own outfit and everything. He couldn’t say she did a bad job.

"She kind of helped me, too. I wasn't exactly sure what to wear since- I've never done this before." She looked down at the table shyly, feeling a little awkward.

"But she told me your favorite colors so I got to learn those. Maybe you should of gone out with her instead since she already dresses in them."

"You could have fooled me. You look amazing in that dress." Stunning, even. Blake had good tastes when it came to this sort of thing and she didn't even know it. He gives a little laugh at that, though.

"No way. Weiss is so not my type. She's a good friend, yeah. But definitely not dating material for me."

"Who knows. Perhaps a little Sun light is what's needed to melt the Ice Queen's frozen heart." She said, and as such, it almost did sound like a perfect story. He said he didn't but usually in the end, all men submitted. Eh, it was the way of life for her and Ruby. Ruby had to deal with Yang's many male friends leaving gifts and Blake usually ended up being more of a delivery service to Weiss from her suitors.

"But, to each their own taste and preference." She gave a small shrug and looked at her dress. "I was pretty happy when I found it. I'd hoped you'd like it and it was different than those 'disguises' we had to wear that- really didn't go as planned." A small scoff at just how silly they did end up looking only to be discovered fairly quickly.

Maybe other guys would, but Sun wasn’t like all of the other guys. “I’m pretty sure the heat from Zuko is all that it’s going to take to melt her frozen heart.” Weiss seemed pretty into Zuko, from what Sun could tell. He was still pretty surprised about it. But they seemed happy together, so Sun was happy for her.

“My disguise was great.” He said proudly. “I could have gone up to anyone in that, and they wouldn’t have known it was me.” That’s a complete lie, and he knows it.

"I didn't get to really meet him but at least that's good to know." Meeting him for the first time in 'disguises' probably didn't make the greatest of first impressions, especially when he saw through her lie fairly quickly.

"But your poor tail." She said while reaching down to gently pet the soft fur and fluff that matched his hair color. Idly she wondered if his hair felt the same but she wouldn't push it that far. Last thing she wanted to do was make him uncomfortable.

"It might of been all the glasses everyone else was wearing that gave us away."

"It was fine. Hiding it away definitely isn't an everyday thing for me." For Blake, it was fine. She just had to hide her ears in a bow. For him, he'd have to stuff his tail into his pants or underneath his shirt. Though a long coat probably could have worked pretty well at hiding it too.

"You'll get your chance to properly meet him. I know Weiss will probably be bringing him around a lot."

"I guess I lucked out on the hiding my Faunus parts." Releasing his tail, she reached up and touched one of her cat ears. It still felt strange to have them out so freely for everyone to see and often humans made her feel almost shame for having them. A small part of her reasoning for hiding them away.

"Hopefully it will be one of the days I'm actually there. I've made myself a small comfortable camp sight within the library I just need to work my way through majority of those books."

"You can do that at your place, you know. Me and Weiss were both really sad when you and Ruby left. We missed you both a lot." Though Weiss didn't say she did until Sun said it.

"I'm sure she Weiss and Yang when she gets back would like to spend some time with you three reconnecting as a team. You three should go out and have a girls night."
